    Denzel, Ronald P.Ronald P. Denzel, 80, Kaukauna, died Sunday, July 2, 2006, at Cherry Meado ws following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Dec. 24, 19 25 in Appleton, son of the late Anton and Mathilda (Breit) Denzel. On Ju ne 26, 1951 Ronald married the former Mary Wall at St. Patrick's Cathol ic Church in Askeaton. The couple lived in the Kaukauna area their enti re married lives. Ronald was a World War II Army Veteran and a member of E lectric City VFW Post 3319. He worked at Thilmany Pulp and Paper, retiri ng after 43 years of service. Ronald was a volunteer fireman and loved cam ping, gardening, traveling and spending time with his family.Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Mary, two daughters and a son-in-l aw; Linda (Jeff) Hietpas and Nancy Van Schyndel all of Kaukauna, three gra ndchildren; Corey (Jenn) Hietpas and their children Tyler and Colby, Le ah (Adam) Daelke and their children Lauren and Addison, Carrie (Craig) Smi th and their daughter, Ashley. He is further survived by his wife's famil y; Rose (Joe) Gilsdorf, Charles (Marie) Wall, Jerome (Donna) Wall and Joa nn Wall.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Aloysius Cathol ic with Pastor Jerry Pastors officiating. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. F riends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Boettcher Family Funeral Ho me 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna and after 9:30 am Wednesday directly at t he church until the time of services. Complete military rites will be cond ucted following the meal (at the cemetery). In lieu of flowers a memori al fund has been established in his name.The family wishes to thank Dr. Danz and Dr. Swanson as well as the wonderf ul people at Theda Care Hospice for their compassionate care and concer n. Also special thanks to Father Jerry Pastors for his faithful visits.
