    Otte, Sr. AquinataSr. Aquinata Otte, age 89, a Franciscan Sister of Christian Charity of Ho ly Family Convent, Manitowoc, died Friday evening, July 5, 2002 at Holy Fa mily Convent.Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2002 at Holy Fami ly Convent Chapel. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Re v. Samuel D. Jadin O.Praem with burial to follow at Holy Family Convent Ce metery, Manitowoc.She was born April 7, 1913 in Kaukauna, Wisconsin daughter of the late And rew and Anna Simon Otte. Sister Aquinata earned a Bachelor of Arts Degr ee from St. Norbert College, De Pere, Wisconsin and a Master of Arts Degr ee from Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. She entered the c onvent in 1931 and professed her vows in 1934. Sister Aquinata serv ed as an elementary teacher and/or principal at St. Philip, St. Joseph a nd St. Bernard, Green Bay; St. Therese, Appleton, Wisconsin; St. John, Wel lsburg, West Virginia; St. Agnes, Mingo Junction, Ohio; St. Willibrord, Ch icago, Illinois; Catholic Central, Menominee, Michigan. She also serv ed as a librarian at Holy Name Catholic Central, Escanaba, Michigan; Bish op Rosecrans High School, Zanesville, Ohio; Silver Lake College and Holy F amily Convent, Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Since 1994, she has been a reside nt of St. Rita Health Center at the Motherhouse.Survivors include the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, two sister s: Dorothy Van De Hey, Kaukauna; Magdalen Preuss, Hilbert, Wisconsin; a br other, Elmer Otte, Appleton, Wisconsin. She is further survived by niece s, nephews, other relatives and friends.Friends may call at Holy Family Convent Chapel, Manitowoc on Tuesday eveni ng, July 9, 2002 from 4-8 p.m. where a prayer service will be held at 7 p. m.The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc is assisting w ith funeral arrangements
