    Margaret M. Fischer, age 99, formerly of S. 36th Street, Manitowoc, died early Monday morning, May 6, 2013 at Kindred Hearts, Manitowoc. She was born on June 29, 1913 in Brillion, daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Ditter) Wittmann. In 1930 she married Edgar Ayotte in Brillion. He preceded her in death in 1934. She later married Arnold Fischer on October 15, 1938 in Reedsville. The couple farmed in the town of Franklin until 1951. Arnold preceded her in death on April 3, 1999. Margarets greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially playing cards and games with her grandchildren. Margaret enjoyed cooking and baking and all different types of crafts. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Audrey Behnke, Ginger & Ralph Wagner; one son and two daughters-in-law: John & Kathy Fischer, Joyce Ayotte, all of Manitowoc; a son-in-law: Dale Flemal, Two Rivers; 28 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; 26 great great grandchildren; and three sisters-in-law: Mabel Fischer, Irma Fischer and Donna Fischer, all of Brillion. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was also preceded in death by two daughters: Oridella Kasbaum, Janice Flemal; a son: Arthur Ayotte; two sons-in-law: Earl Kasbaum & Fritz Behnke; three grandsons: Todd Ayotte, Dale Kasbaum, Jeffrey Kasbaum; seven brothers; and six sisters. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen with entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc. The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. led by Deacon Rich Bahnaman. Friends may also call Saturday morning at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, Manitowoc, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family by visiting www.pfefferfuneralhome.com ITALICS: The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Kindred Hearts, Holy Family Hospice and HomeCare and also to Heartland Hospice for their care and compassion shown towards Margaret and her family.
