    Bernice J. Lopas, formerly of Kaukauna, age 86, died Sunday, July 13, 2008, at Rennes Health Center. She was born December 29, 1921, to the late Paul and Anna (Roeder) Simon, Sr. in Niagara, WI. Bernice married Lester Lopas on April 19, 1941, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Kaukauna, he preceded her in death in 2001. She was a long time member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Woman's Aide and LWMS. Bernice enjoyed doing crafts of every variety.
    She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Darlene (Ronald) Paalman, Hortonville; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth (Donna) Lopas, Combined Locks; seven grandchildren: Richard (Deborah) Paalman, Susan (Michael) Morey, Randal Paalman, Jeffrey (Tina) Paalman, Bob (Tricia) Lopas, Lori (Jason) Hurst, Kim (Matt) Sullivan; 12 great-grandchildren: Tami and Michael Iversen, Dylan Morey, Tyler and Jacob Paalman, Kara and Mason Lopas, Jacob and Benjamin Hurst, Malcolm Anderson, Logan and Laura Sullivan; and a brother-in-law, Ray Pitsch, Sr.
    She was preceded in death by an infant son, Lester Jr.; an infant sister, two sisters and a brother-in-law: Beatrice Pitsch, Mary (Gilbert) Brockman, a brother and sister-in-law, Paul, Jr. (Marion) Simon.
    Funeral services for Bernice are at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 804 Grignon St., Kaukauna, WI, with Rev. Mark Luetzow officiating. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call on Wednesday directly at church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Bernice's name has been established for Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Kaukauna.     Simon, Paul W.Paul Simon, age 78, of Kimberly, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2005 surr ounded by his family at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. Paul was bo rn on October 21, 1927 in Appleton, son of the late Paul and Anna Simo n. On April 24, 1948, he married the former Marian Hoolihan at Sacred Hea rt Catholic Church in Appleton. His beloved wife of fifty-six years preced ed Paul in death on August 27, 2004. Paul worked at Kimberly-Clark and th en at RePap for a total of forty-two years, and retired as a superintende nt in the Coating and Stock Prep Departments. He also worked part-time f or Allied Fireplaces. Paul very much enjoyed his lunches and friendships w ith Sr. Annette, Sr. Mary, and Sr. Ann. Paul and Marian enjoyed traveli ng and spending the winter months in Florida. They also enjoyed the tim es they spent at their trailer at Twin Bridges. Paul was an avid Green B ay Packer fan and always looked forward to watching the games with his son s-in-law Dan Speering and Dan Feucht; they were both very special to hi m. Paul will be remembered as a very loving and devoted husband, father, f ather-in-law, grandpa, great-grandpa, and brother-in-law. His grandkids a nd great-grandkids were his pride and joy and he always looked forwa rd to their visits.     Dorothy Mae Moss,"Dot Pitsch", 66, of Darboy has joined the angels in heaven on Sunday, September 22, 2013 after a courageous battle with bladder and colon cancer, fighting to the end with her family by her side.
    She was born on January 1, 1947 in Appleton to Raymond J. and Beatrice (Simon) Pitsch.
    Dot leaves behind the love of her life her husband Lynn Moss. They were married Friday, November 13, 1970. It wasn't unlucky for them. Their love for each other was unique. They loved spending time together and inseparable till the end.
    She also leaves behind a beloved daughter Brenda (Gary) Anderson, Kimberly. Dot adored spending time with her grandchildren, Josh Anderson (fiancé Sara Hanstad) Kaukauna; Jason (Evelyn) Anderson, Menasha; Amber Anderson (the apple of Gramma's eye, her pumpkin)and her great grandchild, Savanna Anderson (her Emma with a thumb).
    Dot has one brother, Raymond P. (Betty) Pitsch, step-mother Rosemary (Court) Pitsch, three sisters-in-law; Donna (Robert) Noffke, Amherst; Mary Moss, Wrightstown; Sheila (Kelly) Prochnow, New London; four brothers-in-law; Gerald Moss, Wrightstown; Dennis Moss, Washington; Alan (Diane) Moss, California; Robert (Patricia) Moss, several nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews, two aunts; Martha DeCleene and Agnes Johnson, and a longtime friend of the family and "adopted daughter" Kim Leech.
    Once a month she had a luncheon with her girlfriends from Kimberly High School class of '65. She will be missed by all.
    Dot and Lynn went on several adventures thru their marriage. One of them included "The Runaway Bar" on Hwy 96 which opened in 1984. Thru the three years there they met a lot of great friends. Then in 1987 they opened the 2 plus 2 in Kimberly. After closing the bar, Dot along with her daughter Brenda then opened "Floral Fantasies". They designed silk floral arrangements from weddings to in home consults and businesses. It was operated for over 20 years. She enjoyed going to events of her granddaughter Amber, things from school functions to her dancing. Dot loved to care for people, she would help someone unselfishly. She was a great cook.
    Dot was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Beatrice (Simon) Pitsch, grandparents; John and Hattie (Coonen) Pitsch, Paul and Anna (Roeder) Simon, a sister Judy Pitsch, aunts; Marie (George) Verkuilen, Ileta (Charles) Swinton, Rita (Robert) Bodde, Bernice (Lester) Lopas, Mary (Gilbert) Brockman, uncles; Sheridan Johnson, Joseph DeCleene, Paul (Marion) Simon, father and mother-in-law; Malcolm and Hilda (Brunner) Moss, two nephews; Richard Moss and Clinton Jezeski and a great niece Erin Hill.
    The funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 12:00 PM at HOLY SPIRIT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Ave. with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Name Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.
    We would like to thank Appleton Medical Center - 7th, 6th, and 5th and the ICU staff, Dr Joyce Bauer; Dr Beth Krieger; New London Hospital Swing bed staff; and Theda Care Hospice.
