    Obituary:
    Hudson, Germaine The pain became too great, and the way back to us more than she could endure. Germaine Florence Hudson, age 94, passed from this life on November 4, 2016. She was born in Preble, WI on June 25, 1922 to Alice (Pensis) and Cornelius Van Roy. Her youth was spent working on the family farm. At age 15, she began her work life "in the city" as a waitress. She was married to Earl Baumgart for a short time in 1945 and as a result became a single mother. On August 31,1973, she married Wayne Hudson. Germaine was a dedicated, conscientious, and hard-working employee as she struggled to provide for herself and her daughter. She retired at age 65 as a custodian for Green Bay Schools. Her family will remember her as a strong, independent matriarch who loved her family intensely and worried for them constantly.
    Germaine is survived by her daughter: Jane (John) DuPont, DePere, WI; grandson: Todd (Stacy) DuPont, Minneapolis, MN; granddaughter: Kara Herrbold, Green Bay, WI; great-grandchildren: Samuel, Emma, and Sophie, Minneapolis, MN; Kaitlyn, Emily, and Lila, Green Bay, WI; two sisters: Patricia Van Roy, Spokane, WA; and Helen Engeldinger, Denmark,WI; nieces and nephews . She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Hudson; one brother: Raymond Van Ven Roy; two sisters: Amy Verheyden and Rosemary Carbon.
    Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7th from 3:00 PM - 4:45 PM at St. Willebrord Church, 209 S. Adams Street, Green Bay. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Monday at 5:00 PM in the Church. Entombment will be in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. The Newcomer Funeral Home of Green Bay has been entrusted with arrangements. To leave a message of remembrance or for direction please visit www.NewcomerGreenBay.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Unity Hospice, who gave such wonderful and compassionate care to Germaine. The family would also like to thank the caregivers at Woodside Manor and the Doctors and Nurses at Bellin Hospital for their care and concern.

    Obituary:
    Amy M. Verheyden, 88, Green Bay resident, passed away on Saturday morning, March 9, 2013 with family by her side. She was born on January 1, 1925 in Green Bay to the late Cornelius and Alice (Pensis) Van Roy. On November 27, 1946 she married Irvin J. Verheyden at Holy Martyrs of Gorcum Catholic Church; he preceded her in death on July 12, 1982. Amy was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Green Bay. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
    She is survived by her children, Richard (Kathy) Verheyden; Nancy "Heidi" (Larry) Mours; Mary Jo Molzahn; Gary Verheyden; Karen (Ron) Bruntjens; Dale (Pamela) Verheyden; Jan (Bernie) Bukouricz; Lynn Verheyden; Wayne Verheyden; Mark (special friend, Dana) Verheyden; Julie Verheyden; grandchildren, Jamie, Bradley, Nicole, Kari, Kristina, Adam, Neil, Ross and Brianna; great grandchildren, Lana, Ashlin, Harley, Kailyn, Dylan, Tevin, Decon and Sayde; sisters, Germaine Hudson, Helen Engledinger and Pat Van Roy; brother-in-law, Donald Bergner; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
    In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Dana Molzahn; grandson, Daniel Verheyden; brother and sister-in-law; Raymond (Lorraine) Van Roy; sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary (Roger) Karbon; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Edwin (Arlene) Verheyden; Shirley Bergner; Bernice (Alphonse) Polasik; Delores Verheyden; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Rose Verheyden.
    Friends may call at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria St., on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with Rev. Mark Vander Steeg officiating. Burial in the Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
    In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established.

    Obituary:
    Daniel "Danno" Joseph Verheyden, 18, of Denmark died suddenly in a car accident, Tuesday July 17, 2007. Dan was born July 20, 1988 and is the son of Dale and Pamela (Blaser) Verheyden, Town of Cooperstown. Dan had a love and passion for fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, cars, trucks, and he loved to fix everything. Dan graduated from Denmark High School in 2006 and planned to attend NWTC in the fall in the auto mechanics program. He was employed by Kane Auto Service.
    He is survived by his parents; his brother, Adam Verheyden and special friend, Kim Skor; Dan's special friend, Brianna Boncher; his grandmother, Amy Verheyden; and his aunts and uncles: Larry and Nona Calaway, Monica and Allan Seidler, David and Patti Blaser, Debby Schultz, Scott and Michelle Blaser, Richard and Kathy Verheyden, Larry and Heidi Mours, Mary Jo Molzahn and special friend, Denny Firgens, Gary Verheyden, Karen and Ron Bruntjens, Jan (Godmother) and Bernie Bukouricz, Lynn Verheyden, Wayne Verheyden (Godfather), Mark Verheyden and special friend, Dana Bartran, and Julie Verheyden and special friend, Joe Truttman.
    Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry and Lois Blaser, and Irvin Verheyden.
    Family and friends may call at the Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 Cty R, Denmark from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday. A wake service will be held at 8 p.m. to conclude the time of visitation. Visitation will continue on Saturday at All Saints Catholic Church from 9 to 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at the church with Fr. Ron Colombo officiating.
    The family respectfully requests no flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Dan's honor.
    Dan was a fun-loving guy who loved life and loved to make everyone laugh. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
