    Joseph R. Coyle, 346 Nicol et Blvd. Menasha, age 89, passed away Tuesday noon after a one week illnes s. He was born July 15, 1879 in Menasha and was a life resident of Menash a. He formerly served as alderman of the Third Ward of Menasha and was pos tmaster of the City of Menasha from 1936 to 1951. Mr. Coyle was a memb er of the John A. Bryan Lodge No. 98 F & AM, Menasha Chapter no. 23 R.A.M ., a past exhalted Ruler and held life membership in the B.P.O.E. No. 67 6, Neenah-Menasha, and a member of the retired Postal Employees Assoc. Sur vivors are two sons, Thomas and Richard of Neenah; one niece, Miss Leona G ilbert of Olympia Washington and four grandchildren. His wife Mata, preced ed him in death in 1950. The Elks memorial service will be held Wednesd ay evening at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Internment will be at Oak Hill Ce metery.

    See Image Joseph Coyle Dies Tuesday Joseph R. Coyle, 89, 346 Nicolet Blvd., former Menasha alderman and postma ster, died Tuesday noon after a one week illness. He was born July 15, 18 79 in Menasha and was a life resident. Coyle served as Third Ward Alderm an from 1926 to 1930 and was an unsuccessful candidate for mayor in 193 0. He was named Menasha's postmaster in 1936, retiring Aug. 31, 1951. Coy le began work at the age of 13 at the Menasha Wooden Ware Corp. He was emp loyed by the Chicago and Northwestern and Soo Line Railroads for 25 yea rs and The Chicago Tube and Iron Company for 10 years, before being nam ed postmaster. He was also a well known sports figure in Menasha in the ea rly 1900's, active in baseball. The life-long resident was a member of t he John A. Bryan Lodge No. 98, F and AM Menasha chapter No. 23, RAM, was p ast exhalted ruler and held life membership in BPOE 676 and was a memb er of the Retired Postal Employees Association. Survivors include two son s, a niece and four grandchildren. The Elks will conduct a memorial servi ce at 7 pm today at the Westgor Funeral Home. Masonic services will be he ld at 10:30 Thursday at the funeral home. Internment will be at Oak Hill C emetery.

    See Image Richard T. Coyle, 2201 Southwood Dr. Appleton, Age 81, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 6, 1991 at St. Elisabeth Hospital. He was born October 17, 1909 in Menasha. Richard had been an Appleton resident for the past 14 yea rs formerly making his home in Neenah. He was a former employee of American Can Co. Marathon Division. He was a member of the N-M B.P.O.E. Lodge No. 676 and the John A. Bryan Lodge no 98 F.A.M., Menasha. He is survived by his wife Dorothy; a son and daughter-in-law: James (Suzanne) Coyle, Pewaukee, Wisconsin; a grandson, Christopher; and a brother and sister-in-law: Thomas (Loretta) Coyle, Neenah. A memorial servive will be conducted by the Elks Lodge and the Masonic Lodge will be held Saturday June 8, 1 991 at The Westgor Funeral home.

    Coyle, Thomas W., Thomas W. Co yle, 85, of Neenah, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2004 at his home. He w as born October 15, 1918 in Menasha, son of the late Joseph and Metha (Mil ler) Coyle. Thomas attended Menasha schools. He also attended Lawrence Col lege and Bowlby Business College. He was a veteran of World War II, 3 yea rs with 654th Engineers, Camp McCoy; also England, France, Belgium and Ger many. In 1978 Thomas retired from American Can Graphic Arts after 36 year s. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Neenah. He was a life memb er of the Neenah-Menasha Elks Lodge #676 and a charter member of the Old G oats. Thomas married Patricia Letter on October 10, 1947; she preceded h im in death on November 7, 1976. He married Loretta (Schiller) Rae on Ju ly 27, 1986.Survivors include his wife, Loretta; three children: Robert T. (Susan), Me nasha; Daniel O. (Lisa), Provo, Utah; Maureen E.
