Frank, Roman AnthonyRoman Anthony Frank, age 88, of 889 Irish Ct. Chilton, died on Saturday Oc tober 2, 2004 at his home. He was born on Aug. 5, 1916 in St. John, s on of the late Joseph & Olga (Wolf) Frank. He married Claudia Brunel le on August 8, 1942 and they had 3 children. She preceded him in dea th on March 30, 1966. On May 13, 1967 he married Ethel Miotke, and she pre ceded him in death in September of 1993. He then married Arlyne (Suttne r) Sielaff on August 1, 2001 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hilbert. He at tended St. John the Baptist Catholic School, and was a graduate and valedi ctorian of the Hilbert High School class of 1934. (Arlyne was the salutato rian of the same class) He attended the Spencerian Business College in Mil waukee, and worked as operations manager for Manufacturers Box Co. from 19 40 until his retirement in 1982.He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Hilbert. Romy enjoyed playi ng sheepshead and cribbage, was an avid follower of the Packers and Brewer s, and he was a whiz at word puzzles, and Wheel of Fortune. Romy lov ed to dance and wanted to get a waltz in with Arlyne any chance he could.Survivors include his wife Arlyne; his three children: Roger (Kay) Fra nk of Denver, CO, Sharon Reichert of Belleview, FL, Ronald Frank; a step-d aughter, Carol (Steve) Walvisch of Mount Pleasant, MI; seven grandchildre n, three step-granddaughters, 19 great grandchildren; a brother, Francis ( Ruth) Frank of Milwaukee; two sisters-in-law, Dolores Suttner of Chilto n, Dorothy Suttner of Brillion; and many nieces, nephews, and other relati ves.He was also preceded in death by three brothers: Harold, Robert and All an Frank; and by a sister-in-law, Marian Frank.Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday October 7, 2004 at St. Ma ry Catholic Church in Hilbert, (108 S. 6th St.) with the Rev. Rallen Stenc il officiating. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwauke e. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St .) in Chilton from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, and again on Friday at Ho ly Cross Chapel (7301 W. Nash) in Milwaukee from 10 to 11 a.m. when commit tal prayers will be held.

Frank, Francis Alexius
Francis Alexius Frank, known as "Frank Frank" to all, died peacefully in the early morning hours of Monday, January 9, 2012. "Dear" to Ruth for 49 years, loving father to sons Timothy, William and Nicholas, adoring father-in-law to Jennifer, beloved grandfather to Elizabeth, Ian and Andrea, and dear friend to Beth and Polly, all of whom survive him. Frank devoted his life to his family and was loved and cherished. He was generous and kind, thoughtful and supportive and a friend to many. Frank served his country in the United States 15th Army from January 1, 1941 to March 1, 1946. He spoke occasionally and modestly of his service and corresponded regularly with those he met during the war. He returned recently to visit a German family with whom he had remained in contact since the American occupation of Germany. His studies interrupted by the war, Frank returned to the University of Wisconsin to earn his Bachelor's degree in Philosophy. Frank applied his math and logic skills to his long career as an accountant. Frank survived his parents Olga (nee Wolf), and Franz Joseph, and worked the family farm in St. John, WI, with brothers Harold, Allan, Robert and Roman, all of whom he survived. In lieu of flowers, (though Frank loved flowers and was a lifelong gardener), donations in his memory may be addressed to the Milwaukee Ballet independently, or via the family. Frank valued his relationships with the Ballet's founders and regularly attended performances with his family. Memorial services to be held 11:30AM, Saturday, January 21, 2012, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church at S. 41st Street and Oklahoma Ave. in Milwaukee. Frank Frank, you will be dearly missed.
