Obituary:
Delores R. Riemer, age 76, of N6554 Hilbert Road, passed away on February 18, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay, surrounded by her family.
Delores, or "Blonde", was born on March 29, 1937 in Freedom, daughter of the late Peter and Minnie (Hermsen) Vosters. On January 28, 1959, she married Roger F. Riemer at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute. The couple just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. Delores worked at a number of places throughout her life. She was the head dietician at St. Elizabeth Hospital, worked at Thiel's, Foley's, Sargento, Precision Paper, and helped on their family farm where they raised 12 children. Delores loved to play cards, enjoyed dancing, gardening, cooking, baking and always making sure there was a dessert with dinner, trips to the casino, being outside, was very political, and was always stayed current on events. She also was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Hilbert, was a strong believer in God and enjoyed trips to Robinsonville. Delores especially loved spending time with Roger and their family.
She is survived by her husband Roger; their 12 children: Mary Kay (Bob) Rosin, Connie (Tom) Klotz, Sandy (Norb) Mangin, Sheri (Robert) Davidovich, Lynn (Troy) Stiefvater, Kelly (Sam) Schmitz, Tom (Kelly) Riemer, Mark (Michelle) Riemer, Kim (special friend Darrell Buss) Baer, Keith (Laura) Riemer, Joe Riemer, Mike (Rachel) Riemer; grandchildren: Nicole Rosin, Colette (fiance' Mark Gage) Rosin, Amber and Jason Rosin, Amanda (Brad) Bartosz, Brittany (fiance' Kevin Skogg) Klotz, Nicholas (Amber) Klotz, Maverick and Jordan Klotz, Brandon (Jenny) Mangin, Justin (Samantha) Mangin and Lauren Mangin, Ryan (fiancée Kenzie Gaines) Davidovich, Jared, Kaleb, Gavin and Josie Stiefvater, Trevor and Shania Schmitz, Savanah, Jaiden, Kylie and Nevaeh Riemer, Dakotah, Hunter and Kenley Riemer, Riley Baer, Kaitlyn Riemer, Ashlie (fiance' William Cummings) Riemer, Tyler and Alexandria Riemer, Austin, Joshua, Andrew, Brooklyn and Jacob Riemer; two great-grandchildren: Cathrine Mangin and Blake Mangin; two sisters and three brothers-in-law: Lillian (Robert) Tennessen, Joanie (Jerry) Ambrosius and Douglas Riemer; one sister-in-law: Geraldine (Glen) Behnke; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: late Peter and Minnie (Hermsen) Vosters; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Martin and Margaret Riemer; siblings: Jerome, Richard (Ruth), baby twins: Urban and Evelyn, baby twins: Rita and Margaret, Dorothy, Ursula (Edward) Welhouse, Gordan, and Urban Vosters; another brother-in-law: Byron Meulemans; nephews: David Meulemans and Robert Vosters; and a niece: Bev Havel.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. NOON on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hilbert. Officiating is the Rev. Mike Betley. Burial will take place in the church cemetery at a later date.
Friends may call at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.
