    Obituary:
    Mildred (Bangart) Baumgarten, age 91 of Kaukauna, passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, May 17, 2017. She was born in the town of Woodville on June 13, 1925, daughter of the late William and Wilhelmina (Jochmann) Bangart. On February 10, 1942, she married Ray Baumgarten at St. Mary's Church in Kaukauna; Ray preceded her in death in 2015. The Baumgartens farmed in various areas throughout northeast and central Wisconsin until 1991, when they retired to Kaukauna. A lifelong homemaker, Millie was dedicated to working hard alongside her husband, raising their family. She grew and sold vegetables to neighbors and local canneries, and nurtured countless beautiful flower beds and gardens. Millie was also the family historian, diligently visiting relatives and recording their stories and photographs to create a wonderful family narrative for future generations.
    Millie and Ray loved to travel throughout the United States and Canada. Her special interests were visiting Native American sites, geological areas, and collecting artifacts, glassware, rocks, and postcards.
    As a child, Millie played the piano, which began her love of music, that culminated in her passing to the sounds of a favorite hymn, "The Church In the Wildwood."
    Mildred is survived by five children and their spouses: Mildred (Edward) Schilling of West Allis; James (Trish) Baumgarten of Muskego; Jean (Paul) Kostuchowski of Plover; Linda (Jeffery) Akin of Wauwatosa; and William (Lori) Baumgarten of La Crescent, Minnesota; a former daughter-in-law, Judith Baumgarten-Novacek; seventeen grandchildren and their spouses: Ronald (Karen) Schilling, Karen Schilling, Paul (Jennifer) Schilling, Reanna Baumgarten, Deborah (Steven) Anderson, Nicole (Gregory) Goldberg, Jodi Kostuchowski, David (Jennifer) Kostuchowski, Joseph Kostuchowski, Michael (Cheri Wayerski) Baumgarten, Sara (Christopher) Heike, Matthew (Anne) Baumgarten, Sr. Karol Marie Baumgarten, Grant (Tabitha) Akin, Sean Akin, William (Jessica) Baumgarten, and Samantha (Joseph) Rigelsky; twenty-nine great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Kaylee, Sarah, Elise; Casey, Jenna, Gabrielle, Carmen; Aaron, Emily, Logan; Alexander, Brooklyn, Ava, Julia, Meredith, Everett, Eleanor, Theodore, Ethan, Cael, Aiyana, Kalista, Dorian, Roman, Sailor, Gospel, Worthy, Oxton. Millie is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Peter, a grandson Mark Baumgarten, her six siblings: Mathias (Matilda) Bangart, Christopher Bangart, Harold (Lioba) Bangart, Adeline (Nicholas) Mueller, Joseph (LaVerne) Bangart, and Norbert Bangart.
    The funeral liturgy for Millie will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 22, 2017, at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH - ST. MARY SITE, 119 W. 7th Street in Kaukauna, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Sunday evening from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the GREENWOOD FARGO FUNERAL HOME, 500 Hendricks Avenue in Kaukauna, and again at the church on Monday morning from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service. Memories may be shared and condolences offered by visiting www.wichmannfargo.com. It was Millie's wish that memorial contributions be used to support Catholic school education in the area.
    The family would like to offer our sincere thanks to everyone at The American Grand, Compassus Hospice, and the Kaukauna Clinic. Thanks also to our extended family for their visits and expressions of love. You have been a true blessing to us, and we will never forget your kindness.

    Allen J. Bangart, Kaukauna, age 64, died unexpectedly, on Tuesday, November 8, 2011. He was born February 3, 1947 in Appleton son of the late Joseph and LaVerne (Schmidt) Bangart. Allen was united in marriage on June 4, 1971 to Beverly Verkuilen at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Appleton. He enjoyed bowling, gambling at the casinos, fishing, camping, and all sports especially the Packers, Brewers, and NASCAR.
    He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Beverly; 2 daughters: Amy Barr (special friend Jamie Verhoeven) and Missy (Scott) Offenstein; 2 grandsons: Robert Retza and Nathan Offenstein; 3 brothers and a sister: Chris (Nora) Bangart, Joe (Pat) Bangart, Doreen (Albert) Hull, and Tony (Sandy) Bangart; his mother-in-law, Anna Verkuilen; 9 sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: John (Carol) Verkuilen, Anna Marie (Merlin) Hein, Robert (Gloria) Verkuilen, Delores (Bruce) Schulz, Pat (Harry) Schulz, George (Diane) Verkuilen, Joe (Marilyn) Verkuilen, Fran Verhagen, and Jim (Sharon) Verkuilen. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, John Verkuilen; 2 brothers: Ray and Ron; a niece, Michelle; a nephew, Christopher, and a brother-in-law, Walter Verhagen.
    Funeral Services for Allen will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

    Jeffery "Trapper" Bangart, passed away on February 24, 2012 at home.
    He was born on October 7, 1947. Trapper appreciated wisdom and honesty, and loved the earth and animals. The outdoors was his church and he was outspoken and dedicated to his beliefs. He was a loving and devoted father.
    Trapper is survived by his daughter, Jill Hegy and her children; Marissa, Alix, Kinsey and Tyler, his son Jody (Lucie) Bangart and children; Mavrick and Miki, three half-brothers and three half-sisters.
    Trapper was preceded in death by his father Norbert "Nubs" Bangart and his step father Marvin "Arch" Alger and his mother.
    In following with Trapper's wishes there will be no services.

    Obituary:
    Cory H. Mueller, age 25, of Hilbert, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at the Calumet Medical Center. He was born on December 18, 1987, in Appleton, WI, son of Roger and the late Joan Mueller. Cory attended Appleton West High School where he often played one on one basketball against Brian Butch, a future star player for the Wisconsin Badgers. Later, Cory graduated from Brillion High School in 2006, where his two best friends were Stuart and Erin Prust. Currently he was working as a sanitation engineer at the Calumet County Courthouse.
    Cory was involved in many organizations; playing basketball in the Special Olympics, camping and fundraising with ARC and when he was younger, he was involved in the Boy Scouts of America. Cory also enjoyed watching Three's Company, Little House on the Prairie, Walker Texas Ranger, Gunsmoke and movies with his mother. He was an avid 49ers fan, he loved listening to country and pop music and his favorite foods included cheeseburgers, homemade pickles, brats, pizza, and his mother's Christmas cookies. Cory also loved animals, especially his cats and his cousin's dog, Wrangler, whom he loved playing catch with. Cory shared many happy memories driving his car, riding his bikes, gardening with his father, and spending time on the farm making wood. Cory will always be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, and for his non-stop chatting.
    Cory is survived by his father, Roger; his grandparents Donna and Bill "Chris" Steiner; as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan and his paternal grandparents, Adeline and Nicholas Mueller.
    A memorial service for Cory will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 North Superior Street. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Cory's name.     The Mueller family would like to thank Dr. Kurt Heyrman for the excellent care of Cory throughout the years.
