    Driessen, Paul John (Silent K ey)Paul J. Driessen, age 76, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2005, at Brewst er Village Care Facility, Appleton, WI. He was born on January 3, 19 29 to the late George and Jeanette (Van Domelen) Driessen in Appleton. Pa ul served in the Merchant Marines. He enjoyed his farmette in Forest Junct ion and being a Ham Operator KA9-CBS. He retired from Thilmany Paper aft er many years.Paul is survived by his three brothers: Ken (Margaret) Driessen, Appleto n; Wayne Driessen, Jacksonville, FL; George (Jeanne) Driessen, Appleto n; a sister, Doris (Sam) Fiske, Pine River; step-mother, Catherine Driesse n, Appleton; three step-sisters: Lynn Driessen, Appleton; Georgia (Davi d) Martell, Appleton; Cathy Driessen, Appleton. Also many nieces and nephe ws.In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a memorial fund is being establis hed.The family would like to thank the staff on Lawrence Hall at Brewster Vill age and Theda Care Hospice for their compassionate care.

    Kenneth Lawrence Driessen, age 82, died peacefully on Monday, January 27, 2014 at his home with his family at his side.
    Ken was born on August 17, 1931 in Appleton, son of the late George and Jeanette (VanDomlen) Driessen. Following high school Ken served his country with the United States Army from 1948 until 1951. He was united in marriage to Margaret Dachelet on July 22, 1967 in Appleton. Ken was formerly employed with Barry Transfer Company of Appleton for several years. He was an avid gardener and ham radio operator, enjoyed fishing, working on his computer, and spending time with family, his cats and his two dogs Sadie and Molly.
    Ken is lovingly survived by his wife of 46 years, Margaret; and his two sons, Paul (Kristy) Driessen and their daughters, Abby, Emily, Natalie and Ellie, Colorado Springs, CO; Mark (Joanne) Driessen and their children, Hannah and Michael, Appleton; a sister, Doris (Sam) Fiske, Pine River; two brothers, Wayne Driessen, Jacksonville, FL; and George (Jeanne) Driessen, Menasha; a brother-in-law, Thomas Dachelet, Squaw Valley, CA; and a sister-in-law, Mary (William) Harris, Belvedere, IL; He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Paul and a brother-in-law, Cliff Juneau.
    A funeral service will be held 5:00PM Friday, January 31, 2014 at Valley Funeral Home, with Full Military Honor to follow the service. Ken's family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in his name.
    Ken's family would like to thank everyone who touched his life.

    Appleton - Doris Fiske, age 84 passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018. She was born on February 16, 1933 in Appleton Wisconsin to George Driessen and Jeanette Zan Domlen. On September 15, 1979 at First English Lutheran Church she was married to Joseph (Sam) Fiske. This beautiful, hilarious, warm, pleasant, rock of a woman left this world. She had been fighting for quite awhile now and her body finally did what her spirit never would; it gave up the fight. You gave everyone around you, no matter whom they were nothing but a smile and probably an inappropriate joke and would never expect anything more than that in return. You were a warm beautiful light upon the cold outside, a beacon to happiness and laughter. Survivors include her Husband; Joseph (Sam) Fiske of 38 years, Daughter; Linda Pagel, Son; Brian Juneau, Son; Barry Juneau, Grandchildren; Tony, Brittnie, Erik, Alex, Dylan and 4 Great Grandchildren. She was also survived by Brother, George Driessen and In-laws; Judy Wallerman, George and Ruth Schwartzbauer and Margaret Driessen. Sometime in April there will be a celebration of life to honor Doris. Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family.
