    Obituary:
    Mrs. Rosyle Lory, nee; Courchane, 73, a native of Mishicot, died Monday in Appleton where she had made her home since 1912. She had been ill for one week. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9 a. m., at St, Therese Catholic church in Appleton following services at the Greenwood funeral home in Kaukauna. Burial will be in the St, Mary cemetery, Appleton. Mrs. Lory was born in Mishicot on Dec 30, 1868 and moved to Appleton 30 years ago. Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Emma Dupuis, Mrs. William Virnoche and Mrs. Oliver Virnoche of Two Rivers; and two brothers, Frank Courchane, Klmberly, and William Courchane of Oconto Falls.

    Twin City Deaths Mrs. Delia Bouressa Neenah - Mrs. Delia Bouressa, 67, 306 Lincoln street, Neenah. died at 4:45 this morning at her home after a lingering illness. Mrs. Bouressa was born Nov. 17, in 1872 in St- Paulina, Canada. She lived in Kimberly for 27 years, coming to Neenah seven years ago. She was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters. Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Walter Koeppven, Milwaukee; Mrs. John Nift, Coleman; Mrs. George Lemmers, Kimberly: Mrs. George Fickle. Appleton. and Miss Lydia Bouressa. Neenah; three sons. Joseph, Kimberly: Clarence. Little Chute, and Frank. Neenah; four sisters. Mrs. Catherine Dupuis, Mrs. Mathilda Vernoche and Mrs. Emma Dupuis, Two Rivers, and Mrs. Rose Lorry, Appleton; two brothers. Frank Courchan, Kimberly. and William Courchan, Oconto Falls; 40 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The funeral cortege will form at 8:30 Saturday morning at the home and services will be at 9 o'clock at St. Patrick's church with the Rev. Joseph Ahearn, pastor, in charge. Burial will be in the Holy Name cemetery, Kimberly. The body may be viewed at the residence after 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 Friday eve- ning.

    Obituary:
    Mrs. William Virnoche Sr., 78, of 1723 Lincoln Ave. Two Rivers. died Sunday afternoon at tha Two Rivers Municipal Hospital where she had been a patient since last Friday night. Funeral servces will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels and at St, Luke Cathollc Church with the Rev. H. J. Schmits officiating. Burial will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Virnoche, nee; Matalida (Mathilda?) Courchaine was born at Lena, Wis.., April 5, 1883, the daughter of the late Joseph and Adeline Greenwood Courchaine, She at- tended school at Lena and on May 7, 1900 was married to William Virnoche, at that community. The couple came to Two Rivers 50 years ago and her husband preceded her in death three weeks ago. She was a member of the St. Luke Altar Society. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Emmell (Virginia) Mellberg, Mrs. Eugene (Cather- ine) Wergin, both of Manitowoc, three sons, William Jr., and Paul Sr.,both of Two Rlvers and Jo- seph of Seattle, Wash., one broth- er, Wlliam Courchaine, of Suring, Wis., one sister, Mrs. F. J. Lee, of Manitowoc, 13 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Friends may call at he Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels after 2 p.m. Tuesday and the Rosary will be recited at 7:45 p.m.

    Harley, Francis P. "Bud" - Bud Harley, Kimberly, was born 89 years ago in Appleton, Wis., on Jan. 23, 1918, to the late Hermis and Eva (Courchane Allie) Harley.
    He died on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2007, with relatives by his side.
    As a young man, Bud lived in Kimberly, graduated from the Kimberly High School and received his B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1946.
    He married the love of his life, Marie Kneepkens, on Sept. 1, 1948, in Kimberly. The couple loved and cared for each other for over 50 years; Marie passed away late in 1998.
    Bud worked in the offices of Green Bay Packaging until his retirement in 1976 and was a member of the Quarter Century Club.
    Bud was an active member of the University of Wisconsin Alumni Association, having recently attended his 50th class reunion.
    He was a founding member of the Green Bay Packaging Credit Union and was also a member of the Harbor Credit Union Board of Directors. Bud and Marie were active members of the Foster Parenting Association of Green Bay, and Bud was a faithful member of Holy Spirit Parish in Kimberly.
    Bud was born with spina bifida, but he never let it define him ? he lived a full and happy life. With the help of his wife and his canes, he didn't give in to a wheelchair until the age of 79.
    In 1979, the couple moved to Hemet, Calif., but he remained a fervent Green Bay Packer fan (he was a season-ticket holder for 50 years) and always cheered on his beloved UW sports teams.
    In 1985, they purchased an RV, and set out to see the country, and visited relatives in Wisconsin during the summer months. In 1989, they moved from Hemet to Anacortes, Wash., to be closer to his brother Lyle and his family. They returned to Green Bay in 1992. After Marie's death, Bud moved to Kimberly and took care of himself until the time of his death.
    Survivors include a foster daughter, Deborah Lang, Washington and her children, Corissa (Jeff) Slowik, Dana (Ken) Beckman and their daughter, Hannah, Scott Lang, Michael Lang, and Brittany Lang; a foster daughter, Maria (Peter) Roura, Chicago and their children, Miguel Roura and Alex Roura; a foster son, Peter (Cindy) Gonzales, Chicago and their daughter, Rachel. He is also survived by his sisters, Marie Vander Zanden and her family, Irene Krueger-DeBruin, June (Gene) Appleton, Audrey (Pete) Valentyne, Mary Jane Hietpas, Peg (Dick) Van Himbergen, Bonnie Vander Velden; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Josephine Courchane, John (June) Kneepkens, Al (Dorothy Mae) Kneepkens, Augie (Marge) Kneepkens, Bev Kneepkens, Don (Jean) Kneepkens, Birdie (Dr. Phil) Bouressa; his close friends, Mary and Ron Gauthier and their family; Linda and Mike Morgan and their family; his aunt, Idella Schwanke; a special friend, Mary Roemer; cousins, Bob and Donna Welch, Mary Sue and Bob Kreikamp, Steve Welch; a niece, Debbie Evers; and Bud's helper, David Shepard.     He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William Harley, Edward Krueger, Jr., Bruce Krueger, and Lyle (Joan) Krueger; a sister, Joyce Gmeiner; and seven brothers-in-law, George Vander Zanden, Eugene Hietpas, Gerald Vander Velden, Don Courchane, Sonny Kneepkens, Frank Gmeiner, and Vincent (Joanne) Burgess.
    The funeral liturgy for Bud will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH ? KIMBERLY (600 E. Kimberly Avenue), with Msgr. Roy Klister officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the hour of the service.
    A memorial fund is being established for spina bifida research at the University Hospital and Clinic in Madison.
    The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Brian Kiesnowski for his seven years of caring for Bud with such thoughtfulness and compassion.

    June Appleton, 85, of Kimberly, went peacefully into the loving arms of her Savior on Sunday, January 13, 2013. June was born on June 12, 1927, to the late Eva and Edward Krueger. On February 7, 1948, she married Eugene Appleton at Holy Name Catholic Church in Kimberly and they enjoyed 64 years together. June was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to cook and care for her large family. June enjoyed swimming, sewing, golfing, traveling, playing cards, participating in Toastmistress and church.
    June was a mother to 10 children and grandmother to 29 grandchildren, Jennifer (George) Pasholk, and their children, Erin and John; Linda (deceased) (John) Knueppel, and their children, Chris, Matt and Katy; John (Beth) Appleton and their children, David, Andrew and Elizabeth; Mary (Dennis) Drexler, and their children, Amanda, Dayna and Thomas; Jim (Ann) Appleton and his children, Jake and Amber; Peter (Anne) Appleton and their children, Rachael, Samuel, Paul and Clare; Amy (Vernon) Frahm, and her children, Nate and Brian; Laurie (Tim) Handrich, and their children Kimberly, Alyssa and Dan; Carrie (Mark) Schmit, and their children, Stephanie, Allison, Tyler and Jessica; Andrea (Karl) Freimuth, and their children, Evan, Connor and Griffin. She also had 15 great-grandchildren.
    The funeral liturgy for June will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at HOLY SPIRIT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly. with Father David Beaudry officiating. A visitation will take place on Thursday at the church from 3 p.m. until the time of mass.
    The Appleton family particularly wishes to thank Grand Horizons - Kimberly for their wonderful care of June over the last several years, especially the care and comfort that Zopa, Jenny, Alecia and Katelyn provided. We would also like to thank Theda Care at Home Hospice for their loving care of June at the end of her life. We greatly appreciate the kindness of the CNA's as they took care of June's daily care and the nurses who helped us through the last days and hours of her life.
    A memorial fund is being set up to benefit Alzheimer's research.

    Mary Jane "Janie" Hietpas, age 81, of Hallmark Place in Kimberly, died unexpectedly from a brief illness on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at the Rennes Health & Rehab Center in Appleton. She was born on January 10, 1931 to Edward and Eva (Courchane) Krueger. Janie married her high school sweetheart and love of her life Eugene "Oogie" Hietpas on September 30, 1950. It broke her heart to lose him on July 15, 1976. Janie was an avid Packer fan and never missed a game, either in person, or at home. She enjoyed playing cards with her group on Mondays and Fridays and she enjoyed bowling. She also enjoyed Friday fish fry's, a good martini and lady bugs. Janie helped to establish the Kimberly Employee Credit Union and donated her time to her passion of volunteering. She had a wonderful green thumb and was well known for saving any plants or flowers that were dying. The love of her life was her family, she will be deeply missed by her five children, Debbie (Gary) Evers, Kaukauna, Jeff (Diann) Hietpas, Hortonville, Sherry Jansen, Kaukauna, Vicky (Jay) Biersteker, Darboy and Bruce (Diane) Hietpas, Freedom; her twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, Melissa (Evers) and Rob Buckley and their children, Anna and Claire; Amy (Evers) and Marc Milligan and their children, Zach and Zoe; Ric (Tracy) Evers and their children, Collin and Prestynn; Eugene (Betsy) Hietpas and their children, Allison and Kaitlyn; Dawn Hietpas; Michelle (Jansen) and Nick Swenson; Marvin Jansen; Mandy Jansen; George Langenhuizen (Amanda Janssen) and their son, Hunter; Lee Langenhuizen; Heidi Hietpas; and Megan Biersteker.     Margaret "Peg" (Krueger) Van Himbergen, 80, of Cheboygan, passed away Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.
    She was born April 29, 1934, in Kimberly, Wisconsin to Edward and Eva (Courchane) Krueger. She married Eugene "Dick" Van Himbergen on June 5, 1957. After residing in Niagara, Wisconsin, they moved to Cheboygan when Dick joined Werner Plumbing and Heating in 1969.
    Peg was a 1952 graduate of Kimberly High School. She was a member of St. Mary/St. Charles Catholic Church, a long-time member of the Cheboygan Golf and Country Club and various social and civic groups in Cheboygan. Peg was a stay-at-home mom, enjoying all arts and crafts, sewing, volunteering, golfing and throwing a good dinner party for all of their friends. Her greatest pleasure was being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved baking with the grandkids, hogging the saucer when sledding, she had a great candy drawer, loved a mean game of cribbage and was the best "Gramma Cooker" ever. She touched many lives, and will be truly missed by her family, friends and neighbors.
    Peg is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dick Van Himbergen, her children, Tony (Tammy) Van Himbergen of South Bend, IN, Dan Van Himbergen of Alpena, MI, Dave (Ronda) Van Himbergen, Donna (Pat) McPhee and Julie Van Himbergen, all of Cheboygan, and Jeannie (Joe) Vaccari of Dublin, OH; grandchildren, Tyler (Andi) Van Himbergen of Mishawaka, IN, Sarah Van Himbergen of Cookeville, TN, Ryan (Amy) McPhee of Aurora, OH, Maggie (Drew) Peklo of Cheboygan, Nathan (Hannah) O'Grady and Kasey Lofgren of Cheboygan, Anthony and Austin Serra of Cheboygan and Izzie, Addie and Ellie Vaccari of Dublin, OH; and one very special great grandchild, Emmitt McPhee.     Pauline Schuler, age 96, passed away peacefully on Thursday afternoon, March 3, 2011, at Colony Oaks Care Center in Appleton. Pauline was born in Oconto on January 31, 1915, daughter of the late Herbert and Rose (Bouressa) Longsine. On December 1, 1932, Pauline married Willis Schuler in Kaukauna; he preceded her in death in 1987. Pauline was a longtime member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Kaukauna and the Combined Locks Golden Agers. She loved playing sheephead, and for many years, she and her husband ran Schuler's Schack in Combined Locks. She always enjoyed a quick trip to the casino, and even made a trek there very recently to celebrate her 96th birthday.
    Punk is survived by a daughter: Patricia Kuehl of Brillion; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a sister: Beverly Hungerford of Kimberly; and a sister-in-law: Bernice Longsine of California. She is also survived by a longtime and dear family friend: Toni Egan and her son Shane, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
    Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son-in-law, a brother, a sister and her husband, and a brother-in-law.
    Funeral services for Pauline will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at IMMANUEL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 510 Sullivan Avenue in Kaukauna, with Rev. Melinda Feller officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until the hour of the service.

    Beverly A. Hungerford, formerly of Kimberly, passed away peacefully at Atrium Post Acute Care - Appleton with her family by her side on Thursday, February 23, 2017.
    Beverly was born in Oconto, Wisconsin and had resided in the Kimberly area for most of her life. She had recently celebrated her 90th birthday with her family and friends. She married Milo Hungerford and together they raised their large family in Combined Locks and Kimberly. Milo preceded her in death in 2008.
    Beverly loved music, dancing and was a huge fan of Tom Jones and Michael Jackson. She always joined everyone on the dance floor at weddings; outlasting even those younger than her. She enjoyed a nice cold beer and earned the nickname, "Beerverly". She loved to gamble on the machines and trips to the casino with Paula were her enjoyment later in life. She will be fondly remembered for her chocolate chip cookies with cornflakes and her creamy homemade macaroni and cherry brownies.
    Beverly is survived by her children, Terry (Peggy) Longsine, Michael (Barbara) Hungerford, Scott (Tracy) Hungerford, Mark (Cindy) Hungerford, Lori (Bill) Van Asten and Paula Hungerford (John Sakowski); 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sons-in-laws, Richard Purchatzke and Bruce Smith and many other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Milo; her daughters, Mary Smith and Trixie Purchatzke.

    Carl A. Lemmers "Ears", age 92, left this world on August 23, free of pain and ready to join the baseball team in heaven. He was born on November 18, 1923, to George and Emma (Bouressa) Lemmers in Kimberly. After high school, he joined the Navy and proudly served in the U.S.Naval Air Corps. Upon returning home, he married his high school sweetheart, Rita A. Josephs, on January 19, 1946, and this year they celebrated 70 years of marriage! Dad was a hard worker, a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa and a friend to all.
    An electrician by trade, dad worked at Superior Electric for many years before joining Home Mutual Insurance Co (now Secura) before finally retiring. In his early years, he acquired the nickname "Ears", supposedly for flicking his buddies ears while passing by. The nickname stuck. Dad was a talented athlete, playing football and baseball in high school, then continuing baseball while playing for a minor league team well into marriage. His love of softball entered the picture when baseball was no longer possible. When he could no longer play softball, he started his umpiring career. He was so proud when his two daughters and one granddaughter played softball, a game he truly loved to play and watch. He was very active in the Kimberly Recreation Association, serving in many capacities, including president. He believed in helping others to make their lives better.
    Dad was such a hard worker. Never calling in sick, his day did not end after work. His yard was always perfect, prompting neighbors to wonder if he used a scissors to get that perfect height. His flowers were the envy of all. When he wasn't doing yard work, he would be working on the lights at the ball field, the lights in Holy Name Church (he wired the entire church when it was built), or volunteering his time at Holy Name School, re-wiring and installing an entire new lighting system. He also helped many friends with their electrical problems which included installing entire systems to new and older homes. His work is also evident in all of his children's homes! Dad was a "putzer" and always had a project. His mantra - "You have to keep moving". At the end of each day, he would enjoy an "Adler Brau" (or 2) or a "Blatz" in later years.
    Dad will be sadly missed by his wife Rite (his "Queen Bee"), HIS CHILDREN - Sandra (Tom) Huiting, Paul (Peggy) Lemmers, Jeanne Lemmers, Dan (Gail) Lemmers; HIS GRANDCHILDREN - Mindy (John) Hollander, Mike (Bridget) Huiting, Tim (Carrie) Lemmers, Tony (Melissa) Lemmers, Jennifer Lemmers, Brian Lemmers; HIS GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN - Jillian and Evan Huiting, Rachel and Jacob Hollander, Ella and Jo Jo Lemmers, Ben and Holly Lemmers. He is further survived by in-laws Vi Lemmers, Celeste Lamers, Elaine Quella, Chuckie Josephs, Ray Josephs.
    Dad was preceded in death by his parents, step-father Clarence Schwartz, siblings Jocko, Ambrose, Patrick, Peach Lemmers and Donna Mae Erbrecht. Also preceding him were his in-laws John and Mae Josephs, and mom's siblings Margaret (John) Gloudemans, Blanche (Hap) Wendlandt, Evelyn (Les) Kachur, Gene (June) Josephs, Cliff Lamers, Rich Quella, Don Josephs and Doris Josephs. There are many surviving nephews, nieces, cousins and friends who are too numerous to mention but who were very important to dad. Our family wants to thank all who knew dad and brought him joy.
    A celebration of Carl's life will be held on Saturday August 27, 2016 at 11 am at Jansen-Fargo Funeral Home, 204 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly. Private inurnment Holy Name Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the Funeral Home from 9 am until time of Service.
    Our family wants to thank all the amazing girls from St. Paul's Appletree Court for the AWESOME care and love shown to mom and dad. We also send a very special thank you to Thedacare Hospice. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be sent to the "Spiering Cancer Foundation" in dad's name.
    No matter how dark it gets, the sun's going to rise again. What ties a family together? It's not the blood or the same last name, it's the memories. Thanks for the memories, dad!

    Dr. James Joseph Bouressa "Jim"
    James J. Bouressa, 83, Neenah, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, February 22, 2013. He was born April 25, 1929, Little Chute, son of Clarence and Regina (Verstegen) Bouressa. As the oldest of 5 children, Jim was looked up to by his siblings as a family leader and confidant throughout his life. Jim really enjoyed his boyhood days growing up in Little Chute and would often tell stories of his fond memories with friends and family.
    Jim excelled in athletics, academics and leadership while attending St. John High School. He went on to attend St. Norbert College and Marquette University School of Dentistry. Jim was a proud member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a honorary fraternity of dentists. He was recognized for his service to the profession earning distinction from the International College of Dentists. Jim valued education and was a lifelong learner.
    In 1952, Jim married the love of his life Ramona "Mona" G. Vanden Heuvel, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. He was a dedicated and loving husband throughout their 60 years of marriage. Jim and Mona settled in Neenah to raise their four children where they remained life-long residents and made many friends. Jim's greatest pride was his family.
    Jim was devoted to his chosen profession of dentristry and helped many people throughout the years. He served in several voluntary and service oriented positions along with other community activities. He was a long time member of St. Margaret Mary Parish, Neenah, where he volunteered much of his time and resources.
    He is remembered for his love of life and laughter, commitment to family and friends. But most of all he will be remembered for his compassion and love for people, his warmth and generosity. He was a great dad, special grandpa, loving brother, caring uncle, dedicated friend and loving husband. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him, but his memory and love will live on in those he touched.
    Jim is survived by his wife, Mona; four children: Michael (Patricia) Bouressa, Neenah; Claire (Timothy) Peeters, Neenah; Robert (Marcia) Bouressa, Boca Raton, FL; and Paul (Elizabeth) Bouressa, Eugene, OR; eleven grandchildren: Amy, Jeffrey, and Gregory Bouressa, Katie (Mickey) Schallie, Karly and Rachel (fiancé Vince Udo) Peeters, Phillip, Edward, Nathan, Anna, and Mimi Bouressa; three great grandchildren: Derrek, Becca, and Grace; five siblings: Philip (Birdie) Bouressa, Carol (Ken) Janssen, Janet Janssen, Ellen (Ed) Hammen, and Jayne (David) Smits; sisters- and brother-in-law: Jule (Ted) Huiting and Doris Vanden Heuvel; and many other relatives and friends.
    In addition to his parents, Jim is further preceded in death by his brother-in-laws: Les Janssen and Noel Vanden Heuvel; and Mona's four siblings.
    Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division St., Neenah, with Fr. Michael Ingold officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the mass. A memorial has been established in Jim's name to the Valley VNA-Alzheimer's Unit, St. Margaret Mary Parish, or the charity of your choice .

    Carol worked for Kimberly Clark in Kimberly and later in Neenah. She loved going "up north" to the Shangrila on Roberts Lake with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, listening to all the giggling upstairs when they should have been sleeping. A close second to family was her love of chocolate!

    Ethel M. Vander Linden, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at Cherry Meadows. Sparky was born on February 4, 1931, in Kimberly, to the late George and Agnes (Bouressa) Fickle.
    Her husband, Tom Vander Linden, preceded her in death in 1992.
    Survivors include her children, Jerry Linden; Bradley (Pamela) Vander Linden, and their children, Ayron, Ian and Natie; Mary (Charlie) Vander Linden Bach; Annie Vander Linden; and John Vander Linden. She is further survived by her sister, Darla (Kurt) Cota, and many nieces and nephews. Sparky was blessed with many, many dear, true friends and loving neighbors.

    Mary Rose Smith, age 50, of Neenah, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening November 18, 2012 at Theda Clark Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born on September 4, 1962 to Milo and Beverly (Longsine) Hungerford in Kaukauna. Mary lived her early life in Kimberly and as a teenager decided to go to beautiful Door County and work in the tourism industry. There she met her future husband Bruce Smith and together they made a life in Door County and were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Kayla Lyn and Meghan Rose. Mary worked several jobs over the years all while raising her family. She was very proud of the fact that she was a hard worker, a great waitress and cook, and really enjoyed working with the public at many Door County restaurants, and later in the Fox Valley.
    Mary was blessed again three years ago with her beautiful granddaughter Brooklyn, whom she adored and quickly became the center of her life. Mary babysat for her and taught her everything she knows. As we all listen to Brooklyn now - we realize that she truly missed her calling in life- she would have made a wonderful teacher! Mary also loved to cook and bake and always shared descriptions (and sometimes pictures too) of what she was having for dinner and dessert on Facebook- making our mouths water! She enjoyed being on her computer chatting with friends and family, and taking a lot of pictures of all of us with her fancy camera.
    Mary is survived by her loving daughters, Kayla (Jeff Keen) Smith, and Meghan (Eric) Driessen; granddaughter, Brooklyn Marie Keen and Brooklyn's brother, Gavyn Keen; her partner, Larry Ware, former husband Bruce Smith; mother, Beverly Hungerford; brothers and sisters: Terry (Peggy) Longsine, Michael (Barb) Hungerford , Scott (Tracy Jeszke) Hungerford, Mark (Cindy) Hungerford, Lori (Bill) Van Asten, and Paula (John Sakowski) Hungerford.
    Also surviving is her extended family in Door County, her brother-in-law, Dick Purchatzke, and many, many nieces, nephews and special friends.
    Preceding her in death were her father, Milo Hungerford, a sister, Trixie Purchatzke, and her former mother-in-law, Delores Smith.
    The family would like to thank the Neenah-Menasha Rescue Squad and Police Department, and the staff at Theda Clark Medical Center for your care and concern of our beloved mother, sister, and friend.
    A celebration of Mary's life will be held at Jansen Fargo Funeral Home in Kimberly at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 25, 2012. Fr. Willard Van De Loo will be officiating.     Sharon Lemmers, age 66, of Fremont, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014. She was born on March 3, 1948 to the late Ambrose and Evelyn (Hanig) Lemmers. Sharon was employed at SCA Tissue until her time of retirement. She loved to garden and was a Master Gardener. She enjoyed spending time with her late fiancé, George, at their cabin in Mountain. Her interests included crafting and feeding the birds, and she always surrounded herself with the love of many pets. Her family will miss her, especially during the holiday season, when they would make Christmas cookie cut-outs.
    Sharon is survived by her brothers and sisters: Tom (Phyllis) Lemmers, Kay (David) Woldt, Joe (Barb) Lemmers, and Deb (Richard) Hendricks. She will be dearly missed by her special nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, Master Gardeners, co-workers, and many friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her son Brian; her brother Mike Lemmers and his wife Cindy; and her fiancé George Schuh, Jr.

    Lemmers, Michael D., WinchesterAge 48, passed away following a courageous battle with cancer on Saturda y, October 13, 2001, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born November 21, 1 952, in Appleton, son of the late Ambrose and Evelyn "Jane" Lemmers. Mi ke married Cindy Manteufel on June 25, 1975. He retired from the Army Nati onal Guard after 21 years of service. Mike enjoyed his numerous years of e mployment at 4X Concrete. He also enjoyed hunting, camping and spending ti me with his grandsons.     Hietpas, Nick M., FreedomNick Michael Hietpas, born February 23, 1985 in Appleton, WI to Bruce a nd Diane (Van Handel) Hietpas died as the result of an automobile acciden t. Nick attended Freedom schools graduating from Freedom High School in sp ring of 2003. Nick worked for his father at Hietpas Welding as a certifi ed welder in Appleton and was currently attending Fox Valley Tech in the i ndustrial welding technician program.Nick earned a trip to the National Skills USA - VICA competition in Kans as City, Missouri in June after winning a gold medal at the state competit ion held in Madison on April 24th. Students who win a gold medal at sta te and advance to the national competition are among the top 2% in the nat ion. Nick was one of the 43 high school students to compete in the conte st that included metalworking, welding frame analysis, refinishing, estima ting, plastic repair, and a written test. He earned a Bronze Medal (3rd) a nd became the first national medalist for Wisconsin in the collision repa ir technology contest and the first national medalist for Freedom Skills U SA advisor, Bob Abitz. In addition to the bronze medal, Nick was also awar ded a toolbox, paint gun, Miller welding helmet, and a trip to the Mart in Senour Paint School, and a full scholarship to Wyotech College, Larami e, Wyoming which he was to attend in the spring of 2004. He was involved w ith the Freedom Chapter of Beat the Heat, and a member of the high scho ol football team throughout his high school years.Nick had a great love for hunting, snowmobiling, jeeping, dirt biking, a nd riding horses. He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Diane Hietpas, his sister He idi, his maternal grandmother Jule Van Handel, his paternal grandmother Ma ry Jane Hietpas, aunts and uncles Tom (Mary) Van Handel, Wayne (Bonnie) V an Handel, Dawn (Mike) Vandenberg (his godparents) Debbie (Gary) Evers, Je ff (Diann) Hietpas, Sherry Jansen (Orin Zick), and Vicki (Jay) Biersteke r. He also leaves behind many cousins: Brian, Rick, Wendy, Jason, Jessic a, and Jeff Van Handel; Amy, Melissa, and Rick Evers; Gene and Dawn Hietpa s; Michelle, Marvin, and Mandy Jansen; George, and Lee Langenhuizen; and M egan Biersteker. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Haro ld Van Handel, and his paternal Grandfather Eugene Hietpas.A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 2, 2003 at 6: 00 PM at ST. NICHOLAS CATHOLIC CHURCH in Freedom, Wisconsin with the Re v. Dennis Ryan officiating. Entombment will take place in the Star of Ho pe Chapel Mausoleum at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. Friends may ca ll on Thursday at the church from 2:00 PM until the time of the mass.     Victoria "Vicki" E. Hermus, Age 61 of Kimberly, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, September 7th, after a courageous battle with a rare illness (Wegener's Disease). Vicki was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on June 8th, 1954. She grew up in Kimberly and graduated from Kimberly High School in 1972. Vicki spent the majority of her life raising her children and caring for the children of others.
    Vicki loved her family more than anything in the world. The greatest gift she gave to everyone was her unconditional love and support. There was never a time you walked away from her without knowing you were truly loved and cared for. Anyone who was lucky enough to know her will always remember her for her generosity and kindness.
    Vicki was an amazing cook and she loved to travel with her husband. They especially enjoyed their many trips to Hawaii.
    Vicki is survived by her husband and best friend of 43 years, Jim, her children Tammy (Mike) Van Eperen, Troy Hermus and Tracy (Luke) Haas; Grandchildren, Brody, Trevor and Victoria Van Eperen and Asher, Esten and Veneda Haas; her brother Brian Baumgarten and nephew Nathan Baumgarten; Mother-in-law, Alice "Honey" Hermus, brothers and sisters-in-law Sandy (Joe) Ver Voort, Jeff (Rose) Hermus, Sue (Terry) Jansen, Ron (Susan Pearl) Hermus, Rick (Cheryl) Hermus, Ken (Nora) Hermus, Greg (Debra) Hermus, Russ (Amy) Hermus, Terry Hermus (Special friend, Katie Hietpas), cousin Ursula Miller, and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews who were all so special to her.
    Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Carmen Baumgarten, and her Father-in-law, John Hermus.
    Funeral Service for Vicki will be on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Holy Spirit/Holy Name Catholic Church, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating.
