    Nolan Frank (Jim) Riehl, Seymour, age 96, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2007, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Green Bay. He was born on August 30, 1910, in Township of Ellington, the son of the late Henry and Ella (Smith) Riehl. On April 22, 1930, he was united in marriage to Rose Cable, she preceded him in death in 1978. On February 6, 1982, he was united in marriage to Bernice (Schaumberg) Beil. Jim farmed until his retirement. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Black Creek. He is survived by his wife, Bernice; his children: Jean (Norb) Fuhrman, Appleton; Jim (Judy) Riehl, California; Nancy (Rudy) Plach, Greenville; Leo (Judy) Riehl, Little Chute; Cathy (Jerry) Puls, Shiocton; Gerald (Arlene) Riehl, Hortonville; Wesley (Pat) Riehl, Black Creek; Leslie (Gloria) Riehl, Black Creek; Louis Riehl, Black Creek; Lois (Robert) Volkman, Seymour; Steven (Beverly) Riehl, Weyauwega; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren; his daughter-in-law and son-in-law, Lois Riehl, Appleton; and Mark Stapel, Seymour.     Lila (Riehl) Kaddatz, Hortonville, age 98, born to eternal life on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. She was born on November 14, 1918, Town of Ellington, daughter of the late Henry and Ella (Smith) Riehl. On October 20, 1937, Lila was united in marriage to Elmer Kaddatz at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, in the Town Ellington. He preceded her in death on July 17, 2002. Together they farmed in the Town of Ellington for 36 years until moving to Hortonville in 1974. Lila also worked at St. Joseph Residence in New London for many years as an aid. She was a faithful member of the St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Stephensville; where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Ladies Aid. She was an avid gardener and loved reading. During her time at Rennes Lila enjoyed Tuesday Pie Day with the family.
    Lila is survived by four children: Jeanette Wendt; Carlton (Sharon) Kaddatz; June (Thomas) Jentz and Allen Kaddatz; 13 grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer; granddaughter, Kimberly Kaddatz; brothers, Nolan Riehl, Victor Riehl and Marvin Riehl; sisters, Alma Marien and Verona Freund; and a son in-law, Frederick Wendt.
    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Stephensville with Rev. Joel Lillo officiating. Burial will follow in Ellington Union Cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
    Memorials may be made in Lila's name to St. Paul's Stephensville.
    The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Rennes, Appleton and Affinity Hospice for the care and concern they gave to Lila.

    On November 7, 1941 she was united in marriage to Nolan Marien, in the Township of Ellington. He preceded her in death on October 22, 2006.
    She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour and a former altar society member.

    Riehl, Gerald L. "Jerry" "Chicken Man"
    Gerald L. Riehl, age 66, of Hortonville, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2008, at his residence. He was born on October 5, 1941, son of the late Nolan "Jim" and Rose (Cable) Riehl. On October 5, 1963, Jerry was united in marriage with Arlene Holz, together they shared almost 45 wonderful years. He enjoyed life to the fullest and his favorite saying was "I'm Gunna!" Jerry's family and grandchildren meant the world to him. He belonged to the Local 139 and worked for Carl Krause, Wiesner Construction, Oscar J. Boldt and Azco. Jerry also belonged to St. John's United Church of Christ where he was involved with the church council, he also served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1963 and was a member of the Retirees committee for Local 139.
    Jerry is survived by his wife; Arlene, children; LuAnne Dorn, Hortonville; Randy (Patti) Riehl, Shiocton; Troy (Jeana) Riehl, Fond du Lac; Danny (Robin) Riehl, Black Creek; and Travis ( Marissa) Riehl, Hortonville; 14 grandchildren; Nicole and Gina Dorn, Ty, Andrew, Makita, Gracie, James, Moses Riehl, Zech, Julia, Austin, Autumn Riehl, Lexis and Onnica Riehl. Jill Meyer officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 24, 2008, at the church and continue on Monday, August 25, 2008, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.     Wesley N. Riehl, age 62, passed away April 17, 2008, at his home with his family by his side after a short battle with adrenal gland cancer. He was born March 11, 1946, to the late Nolan and Rose (Cable) Riehl. He was united in marriage on August 30, 1969, to Patricia Pennings. Wes was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in the Town of Center. He was a United States Army veteran and a member of the Black Creek American Legion. He enjoyed farming and most importantly spending time with his family including his children and grandchildren who adored their "Pa Pa." He believed a family that prayed together, stayed together.

    Body found along Wolf River in Bovina identified as Leslie Riehl
    BOVINA - A 65-year-old Town of Black Creek man found dead along the Wolf River has been identified as Leslie Riehl.

    Outagamie County Coroner Ruth Wulgaert released the name Tuesday night, a day after Riehl's body was found along the river.
    The Outagamie County Sheriff's Department said it received a call for help from someone on the river near Conrad Road in Bovina about 4:45 p.m.
    When they responded, authorities found a boat that had been anchored for fishing. The man's body was found downstream from the boat about 6:30 p.m.
    The state Department of Natural Resources also responded to the scene.

    Obituary:
    Leslie "Les" Riehl, age 65, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2011. He was born on March 11, 1946, son of the late Nolan "Jim" and Rose (Cable) Riehl. On January 9, 1965, he was united in marriage to Gloria Suprise in Shiocton.
    Les had worked at Boldt Construction as a crane operator for over 25 years until his retirement. He took great pride in all the projects that he worked on over the years and the friendships he forged. Many of his co-workers knew him as "Hook." Les' favorite hobbies were woodworking and carpentry. Spending time outdoors fishing and hunting were some of his favorite moments. He enjoyed mowing the yard and took joy in maintaining his property and everyone else's in the neighborhood (when it was needed). Most importantly Les cherished his family and the times they spent together. His grandchildren were a central part of his life.
    He is survived by his wife, Gloria; his children: Cory (Dianne) Riehl, Shiocton; Andy (Tina) Riehl, Greenville; Shelly (Jamie) Wagner, Black Creek; eight grandchildren: Brandon (Jamie), Ethan, Emma, Adam, Cooper, Case, Clay, Connor; one great-grandchild Brayden. Further survived by sisters and brothers: Jean (Norb) Fuhrman, Appleton; Jim (Judy) Riehl, California; Nancy (Rudy) Plach, Greenville; Leo (Judy) Riehl, Little Chute; Cathy (Jerry) Puls, Shiocton; Louis Riehl, Black Creek; Lois (Robert) Volkman, Seymour; Steven (Beverly) Riehl, Weyauwega; sisters-in-law: Arlene Riehl, Hortonville; Pat Riehl, Black Creek; brother-in-law: Mark Stapel, Seymour. Also survived by Gloria's family: mother-in-law Lucille Surprise, Shiocton; brother-in-law Raymond (Linda) Suprise, Shiocton; seven sisters-in-law: Janice (Art) VanAsten, Wild Rose, Gail (William) Spoehr, Kaukauna, Doris (William) Herminath, Shiocton, Carol (Wayne) Fischer, Sherwood, Regina (Philip) Zuleger, Appleton, Sheryl (Art) Schuh, Iron River.
    He was preceded in death by his parents Nolan & Rose Riehl; 7 brothers:, Keith, Thomas, DanLee, Leonard, Paul, Gerald, Wesley; a sister Sharon Stapel; father-in-law David Suprise; sister-in-law LaVerne Hillsberg; brother-in-law Ronald Suprise.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main St., Seymour, on Friday, April 22, 2011, from 4 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday, April 23, 2011, from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, N5610 Broad St., Shiocton, with Pastor Paul Hintz officiating. Burial will take place at Bovina Cemetery, Shiocton. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehl boettcher.com. A memorial fund has been established in Les' memory.
    Leslie Riehl, 65, of the Town of Black Creek, was fishing from an anchored boat April 18 on the Wolf River in the Town of Bovina when he fell overboard and drowned while trying to release a line tying the boat to a tree. The weather was cold and the water level was high at the time, authorities reported.
