BRIDGMAN -- Pearl Esther Gorske, 85, passed away on Friday, Jan. 9, 2004 at her son's home.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bridgman with the Rev. William Gleason officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Bridgman. Friends may meet with the family from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Boyd-Pike Funeral Home, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Hospice at Home of Stevensville. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.On March 27, 1943, she married Julius Gorske and he survives along with their seven children -- Richard (Karen) Gorske of Bridgman, Albert Gorske of Bridgman, Michael (Gwen) Gorske of Buchanan, Roger (Denese) Gorske of Hartford, Dennis (Nancy) Gorske of Michigan City, Kenneth (Candy) Gorske of Bridgman, and Debra (Terry) Glaske of Baroda; 21 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Irving (Delores) Hackeman of Republic, Mich.Mrs. Gorske also was preceded in death by one son, Robert Gorske in 1980; one sister and five brothers.
