    David Meyer, age 67, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Appleton on January 18, 2013. David was born in Appleton on November 14, 1945, son of the late Julius and Elaine (Merkel) Meyer. He was a graduate of Xavier High School, and eventually became a Private Investigator. On August 1, 1966, he married the love of his life, Linda Locke. Linda preceded him in death in 2005. Over the years he worked at American Can as a technical engineer, had a tax preparation business, and worked in his own private investigation business. David also authored and published a book, "The Downfall of Civilization."
    Everyone will remember David for his love of hunting, fishing, cooking, his inventive spirit, barbecues, and Miller Lite. He was also a fan of Elvis, and even attended his funeral.
    David is survived by his children:
    Lisa Meyer (Saad Azab) and grandchildren Matthew, Holly, Kelly (great-granddaughter Lilahanne), and Michael Grover;
    David (Lori) Meyer and granddaughter Tiffany (Justin Krauger) and great-grandson Jeremiah;
    Jason Meyer (Diane Golden) and grandson Tyler;
    Joseph (Karen) Meyer and grandchildren Nicole, Ashton, and Emily;
    Curtis (Teresa) Meyer and grandchildren Katelynn, James, Christopher, and Kyle;
    and Thomas Meyer.
    David is also survived by two sisters: Sharon (Paul) Sonnleitner and Glory (Ron) Reed; a brother: Jack Meyer; and a neighbor and good friend: Dave Evans. There are also many other relatives and friends.
    David was preceded in death by his wife Linda, his parents, and a granddaughter Ashley.
    Funeral services for David will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street in Appleton. Friends may call on Monday morning at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
    Dad, you will be greatly missed. We will cherish your memory with lots of love. - Your children.

    Jack C. Meyer, 63, of Appleton, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Jack was born October 4, 1949 in Appleton to Julius and Elaine (Merkel) Meyer. Jack worked for many years at American Can in Menasha and also owned Mr. Donut in Neenah. He liked playing cards, fishing, dogs, watching movies, wrestling, the Packers and Sy fy channel. Jack also enjoyed his Miller, Diet Coke, going to the Third Street Diner, and most of all spending time with his family.
    Jack is survived by his children; Scott (fiancée Michelle Kampo) Meyer, Corey (Becca) Meyer, Amanda Meyer, and his step son Spencer Breitreiter, three grandchildren; Dakota, Dominque and Sophie, a great granddaughter, Kylie Marie, and his sisters; Sharon (Paul) Sonnleitner, and Glory (Ron) Reed, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
    Jack was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother David Meyer.
    The funeral service for Jack will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at 4:00 PM at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, TRI COUNTY CHAPEL. A time of visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
    Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Jack's name to the National MS Society, Wisconsin Chapter.

    Mr. Jesse D. Meyer, 67, Redgranite, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, Wis. Jesse was the son of Gordon and Evelyn Halle Meyer. He married Joyce M. Isham on Jan. 24, 1959, in Hayward, Wis. Jesse was raised in the Fox Valley area. Following his marriage to Joyce, the Meyer's lived in Larsen, prior to moving to Redgranite 17 years ago. Jesse enjoyed anything to do with deer hunting and spending time watching the deer and turkeys from his screen porch. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Redgranite.
    Survivors include his daughter, Corrina (Dan) Smet, Kaukauna; a brother, Dusty (Nancy) Meyer, Chilton and a sister, Sondra Metoxen, Menasha. Jesse is also survived by three sisters-in-law, Geneva Crowe, Shirley Isham and Rose (Ronald) Tainter, all of Hayward and special nieces and nephews, Melissa, Chad (Keren), Krissy, Becky, Pat (Paula), Robin (Karen), Vickie (Bill) and special friends, Pam and Byrdie Chamberlin, rural Wautoma, and his feline companions, Bart, Rosie and Mitzi.
    His wife, Joyce, preceded him in death, followed by his mother-in-law, Irene Isham and his parents, Gordon and Evelyn (Halle) Meyer.
    Funeral Services for Mr. Jesse D. Meyer will be held Tuesday, August 7th at 11 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 330 Foster Road in Redgranite. (The Church is located one block South of Highway 21 on Foster Road-County Highway E.) Friends may call at Trinity Lutheran Church from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday only prior to the Services.

    Gerald L. Krueger, "Jerry," age 67, of Menasha, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2007. He was born August 14, 1940, the son of the late Lewis and Lydia (Meyer) Krueger. Jerry was united in marriage to Sharon Russell on April 25, 1964, at St. Margaret-Mary Catholic Church in Neenah. He retired from Neenah Paper Company. He enjoyed hunting, camping, working with the Boy Scouts and the Historical Society. Jerry especially loved being with his family.
    Jerry is survived by his wife, Sharon; his children: Vincent (Diedra), Steven (Deanna), Leah (Jeff) Gloudemans, Rachel (Jeffrey) Blajeski, Nicole (Michael) Kohanski, and David. He is further survived by 12 grandchildren, a brother, Richard (Judy) Krueger, and a sister-in-law, Barbara Krueger.
    Jerry was preceded in death by his brother James Krueger.
    A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2007, at St. John Catholic Church, 516 De Pere Street, Menasha, with Fr. Paul Radetski officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
