The f ormer Geraldine Franzke was born on March 10, 1923 in Forest Junction to t he late Lester and Laura (Schubring) Franzke. She was a graduate of Kaukau na High School. On June 18, 1946 she married Melvin C. Rosin in Forest Jun ction, Wisconsin. Mel and Gerry were foster parents to over 80 childr en in the Green Bay area.She is survived by her children, Karen and Joe Brawner, Lumberton, Texa s, Ken and Peg Rosin, Ringle, Wis. and Faye and Doug Zimmerman, Milton Wis ., and Ronald Wendricks, Green Bay; seven grandchildren; nieces and nephew s.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Melvin, and one bro ther Randall Franzke.Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home & Crematory, 1630 E. Mason S t. (920) 468-4111 on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.; and on Friday fr om 9 to 11 a.m. at Peace United Methodist Church, 919 Schwartz St. Funer al Service 11 a.m. at the church, with Rev.     Franzke, Randall C., “Randy”, L ittle ChuteRandy passed away peacefully at Appleton Medical Center on May 5, 2003 sur rounded by his loving wife and family. He was born October 16, 1930 in Hollandtown the son of the late Lester and Laura (Schubring) Franzke. He marr ied the former Patricia Milquette on April 29, 1950 in Brillion, she survi ves him. Randy was a member of Peace United Methodist Church, Kaukauna. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Pat; his six children, Cathy (Keit h) Gerow; Carol Vandehey and her children, Shannan & her daughter, Makenna h, Samantha and Stefanie; Leon (Marge) Franzke and their children, Val, P am and Angie; Rick (Kim) Franzke and their children, Josh, Jason and Brand on; Cindy (Dennis) VanAsten and their children, Brandie, Kristle, Amanda a nd Melanie; and Keith (Mary) Franzke and their children, Elizabeth, Ben a nd Derrick. He will also be missed by a sister, Geraldine Rosin and the la te Melvin Rosin; a brother in law, Dick (Jane) Milquette; three sisters-in -law: Vi Brockman, Betty Milquette, Millie Milquette; and several nieces a nd nephews. Randy’s funeral service will be 6:00 p.m. on Thursday May 8, 2 003 at PEACE UNITED METH-ODIST CHURCH, 2300 Wisconsin Avenue, Kaukauna wi th the Rev. Diane Rew-Gottfried officiating. Friends will be received at C hurch on Thursday from Noon until the time of service. Burial is schedul ed on Friday at Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Junction.     Harriet M. Heimke, age 88 of Brillion, died on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay.
    She was born on March 8, 1928 in Forest Junction, daughter of the late Arthur and Alice (Franzke) Schnell. On June 24, 1949 she married Howard Heimke in Forest Junction. Harriet was a graduate of Brillion High School. She worked for Knauf and Tesch in Chilton for a short time and then worked at the Brillion Iron Works until retiring in 1986. She was an avid bridge player and golfer, she loved to bake, and was the greatest Grandma ever! Harriet was a member of St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church in Brillion.
    Survivors include her husband Howard, a son Tom Heimke of GA. 7 grandchildren and 9 great grand children, a sister Marge Horn of Sturgeon Bay and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son Michael, a daughter Annette Martens, a grandson Sam Van Lanen and a brother Don Schnell.
    Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at NOON at St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church in Brillion. The Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Brillion. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Online condolences may be made.

    Enola G. Miller, age 83, of Chilton, died on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. She was born August 8, 1931 in DePere, daughter of the late Walter & Goldie (Schubring) Franzke. Enola married Robert G. Miller on November 25, 1953 in the Town of Brillion; he preceded her in death on March 9, 1990.
    She had worked for Thiel cheese and later Morning Glory Farms for many years until her retirement.
    Enola had been a member of the Sherwood Senior Citizens, which gave her great opportunities to play cards and socialize with friends. More recently, Enola's socializing and card playing skills were put to good use with her friends at the Chilton Uptown Commons.
    Never wanting to remain cooped up indoors for long, she looked forward to drives in her Cadillac and driving the countryside with her daughter looking for new and fantastic breakfast joints to share a meal. Above all of the joys that life offered, Enola took the greatest pleasure in her grandchildren; she would always do anything she could for them to make them happy.
    Survivors include her children: Alan (Sandy) Miller of Menasha, Beverly (Jim) Broeren of Sherwood; 7 grandchildren: Laura (Eric) Petersen, Maria & Alison Miller, Pete (Jaime) Halbach, Annie Halbach and her special friend, Joey Meyers, Kathryn (Sam) Brantmeier, Jacob Broeren; 7 great grandchildren: Parker & Cole Petersen, Olivia & Maddie Halbach, Tucker Meyers, Morgan & Colby Brantmeier; a sister: Ila (Carl) Petersen; a brother: Larry Franzke and his special friend, Sharon Jansen; a half-sister: Lois Samardich; and a sister-in-law: Lorraine Miller. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Enola was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a daughter: Barb Halbach.

She is the daughter of Howard and Harriet Heimke of Brillion, WI. She was married to Jeffrey Martens on July 23, 1992. She graduated from Brillion High School in 1973. Annette was employed at St. Mary's Hospital, Green Bay, as a Diagnostic Secretary. She is a member of St. John Lutheran Church in West De Pere.
    Annette loved spending time with her grandchildren, going to craft shows, and shooting darts.
    Survivors include her loving husband Jeff; daughter, Kelly (Patrick) Waeghe; four sons: Jacob Van Lanen (fiancee Jessica Lemerande), Saul Van Lanen (fiancee Allison Van de Hei), Samuel Van Lanen, and Andrew Martens; two grandchildren: Rhiannah and Cameron; parents Howard and Harriet Heimke; mother and father-in-law Jean and Milton Rohm; brother Tom Heimke; and sister-in-law Dr. Patricia Cole.
    She was preceded in death by a brother Michael Heimke.
    Visitation for Annette will be Wednesday, May 2, 2007, from 5 - 8 p.m. at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth St., De Pere. Visitation will continue on Thursday, May 3, 2007, from 9 to 11 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, De Pere with Rev. Arnold Stilwell officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Cemetery.     Barbara Kay Halbach, age 54, of Hilbert, died on Sunday September 11, 2011 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah. She was born on July 26, 1957 in Neenah, daughter of Enola (Franzke) Miller and the late Robert Miller. She had worked for Tecumseh Products in New Holstein for many years, and was cook for Schmitz Brothers 2 in Hilbert for over 20 years. Barb loved her flower beds, knitting, and sewing.
    Survivors include her mother, Enola Miller of Chilton, a son Pete (Jaime) Halbach and their children Madeline & Olivia, of Hilbert; a daughter Annie Halbach and her special friend Joey Meyers and a grand dog Bella of Hilbert; a brother Alan (Sandy) Miller and their children, Laura (Eric) Petersen, Maria & Alison Miller of the Town of Harrison; her twin sister Beverly (James) Broeren and their children Kathryn (Sam) Brantmeier, Jacob Broeren & special friend Amanda Heiting; 2 aunts, her godmother, Ila (Carl) Petersen of DePere, & aunt Lorraine Miller of Kaukauna; and an uncle Larry Franzke of Little Chute.
    She was preceded in death by her father Robert Miller.
    Memorial services will be held at 7 PM on Thur. September 15, 2011 at The Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. Burial will be on Fri. in the High Cliff Evangelical Cemetery in Sherwood. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3PM on Thursday until the time of services. A memorial has been established in the name of Barbara Kay Halbach.

    Sam Van Lanen 22, De Pere, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, September 9, 2007. He was born September 14, 1984, in Green Bay to Gerard Van Lanen and the late Annette Martens. Sam graduated from West De Pere High School in 2003. He was employed at Festival Foods in De Pere. Sam enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and above all else he enjoyed spending time with his son Cameron.
    He is survived by his son Cameron; his father, Gerard Van Lanen, De Pere; his step-father, Jeff Martens, De Pere; his siblings: Kelly (Patrick) Waeghe, Howard; Jacob (Jessica) Van Lanen, De Pere; Saul (Allison) Van Lanen, De Pere; Andrew Martens, De Pere; grandparents, Howard and Harriet Heimke, Brillion.
    He was preceded in death by his mom Annette Martens, his grandparents Francis and Beatrice Van Lanen, and his Uncle Mike Heimke.
