    Agnes A. Toonen, 100, Green Bay, entered into eternal life Wednesday, February 8, 2017. She was born on September 6, 1916, in the Town of Morrison to William and Elizabeth (Kane) Duckett.
    Agnes attended Stevens Point Teachers College and taught at Annie Jackson and Whitney grade schools and later graduated from St. Norbert College. She was the oldest living alumnus of St. Norbert College. During the summer months, she taught arts and crafts in the city parks. On June 18, 1956, Agnes married Clarence Toonen at St. Willebrord Catholic Church. She retired from teaching in 1957. Agnes loved music, especially Irish music, and at one time taught piano lessons. But most importantly, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
    She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Anthony "Tony" and Dawn Toonen, Green Bay; two grandchildren and their spouses: Dr. Joe Toonen and his wife, Liz Fales, Kenosha; Erin and Don Mueller, Glendale, WI; a great-grandson, Lucas Mueller (two additional great-grandchildren to be born later this year); and many nieces and nephews.
    Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; and four sisters and brothers-in-law, Anna (Robert) Riordan, Marie (Joe) Hoslett, Veronica (Lornie) Coenen, and Rose (Joe) Donovan.
    Friends may call at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. Patrick C.     Fitzgerald, Mary F.Mary F. Fitzgerald, 92, Allouez, passed away Monday, July 21, 2003 at O dd Fellow Nursing Home. The daughter of the late John and Cecelia (Kane) F itzgerald was born March 9, 1911, in the Town of Wrightstown. In her ear ly years Mary was an organist at St. John Catholic Church, Morrison. In 19 42, she moved to her home in Green Bay. She worked at Model Cleaners and S chreiber Cheese. Mary cleaned homes for several families with whom she dev eloped many long term friendships. Mary loved being with her family and en joyed conversing with her friends. She was always ready to pray for anyo ne with any concern.     Obituary:
    Edmund G. Kane, 83, Appleton, died Sunday morning, Aug. 22, 2004, at an Appleton hospital. He was born on Nov. 16, 1920, in De Pere, to the late Edward and Mollie (Shaughnessy) Kane. He was a 1939 graduate of St. Norbert High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1945 during World War II and on Aug. 29, 1945, he married the former Frances Zegers at St. Mary's Catholic Church in De Pere. Ed owned and operated Kane Plumbing in De Pere, before moving to Sun Prairie to become a state plumbing inspector in Madison in 1958. He spent the remaining years of his career in industrial plumbing sales, retiring in 1984. Ed and Fran enjoyed 20 years of retirement together - wintering in Brownsville, Texas, and golfing regularly. He volunteered countless hours to St. Vincent de Paul where he formed many strong friendships. His interests included golf, Packer games, daily crossword puzzles and, most importantly, his Irish heritage.
    Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Fran; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Kathy Kane, San Diego, Calif.; Terry and Dick Jorgenson, Neenah; Peggy Kane, Neenah; and Kelly and Brian Webb, Neenah; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Daniel and Betty Kane, La Crosse; Gary Kane, Neenah; and Mike Kane, Green Bay; 13 grandchildren, Tina (Eric) Hansen, Modesto, Calif.; SSgt. Stacee Disko, USAF, England; Lois Disko (fiance, Joe Castner), Akron, Ohio; Jennifer (Torry) Zupke, Fond du Lac, Wis.; Alissa (Ron) Oelfke, Holmen, Wis.; Sean (Elizabeth) Kane, Decorah, Iowa; Katie (Joe) France, Madison, Wis.; Dan Kane, LaCrosse; Christopher Kane, LaCrosse; Jeff (Lisa) Jorgenson, Appleton; Jill (Jeff) Firgens, Appleton; and Ellen and Sam Webb, Neenah; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Francis Kane, De Pere; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary and John Van Dyk, Green Bay; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Roy, in 1993, and two brothers, Jerome and Lawrence.
