    Obituary:
    Wilbert VandenLangenberg, 90, died Monday, March 14, 2016, at the Wisconsin Veteran's Home at King, in Waupaca. He was born July 28, 1925, in Green Bay, son of the late George and Louise (Linssen) VandenLangenberg. Will served his country in the United States Army during WWII, and was awarded the Purple Heart. He married the late Karen Crawford on September 2, 1967, at St. Philip Catholic Church in Green Bay.
    He and Karen had a passion for horses and Will operated numerous boarding stables well into his retirement years. In addition, he could always be counted on for telling great stories, sharing a good meal, or playing cards with family and friends.
    Wilbert will be deeply missed by his loving son Glenn and daughter-in-law Kylie (Opelt); his two grandchildren, Ethan and Amelia "Ellie"; siblings Leona Lelou, Roland (Carol) VandenLangenberg, Nancy (Roger) Denis, and Ruth (Harry) Watermolen; sisters-in-law Jan Crawford, Ceil VandenLangenberg, Ann VandenLangenberg, and Dorothy VandenLangenberg; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
    Besides his parents, Wilbert was preceded in death by his wife, Karen; siblings, Johanna Lesage, Betty Lesage, Donald VandenLangenberg, Lawrence VandenLangenberg, Patsy VandenLangenberg, and Clifford VandenLangenberg.
    Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Thursday, March 17, 2016, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, with Military Honors to follow. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.prokowall.com.
    In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made, in Wilbert's name, to the Wisconsin Veteran's Home at King, N2665 County Rd QQ, King, WI 54981.

    Clifford VandenLangenberg, 79, New Denmark, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 16, 1933 in Green Bay, son of the late George and Louise (Linssen) VandenLangenberg. Clifford served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He married Ann Boehm on May 21, 1955 at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church in Green Bay. Clifford was a farmer and had many other jobs to support his family.
    He was a member of the Denmark American Legion Post #363 where he was active in the Honor Guard, All Saints Church Choir, and he enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids, woodworking and donating his time and talents.
    He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Ann; children: Mark (Mary), Lynn (Walter) Crews, Connie (Terry) Rueckert, Sue (Craig) Stephens, Paul (Cheryl), Donna (Scott) Stroik, Alan (Brenda), Karl (Karla), and Heidi (fiancé-DeVante Blanks); 18 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; siblings: Leona Lelou, Wilbert VandenLangenberg, Roland (Carol), Nancy (Roger) Denis, Ruth (Harold) Watermolen; sisters-in-law, Ceil VandenLangenberg and Dorothy VandenLangenberg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Johanna LeSage (Bob) (Ed Thompson); brother-in-law, Ronald Lelou, Donald VandenLangenberg, Lawrence VandenLangenberg, Betty (Richard) LeSage, Patsy VandenLangenberg; and sister-in-law, Karen VandenLangenberg.
    Family and friends may call Friday, May 3, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 Cty R, Denmark, where there will be a Parish Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the procession leaves for All Saints Catholic Church in Denmark. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Saturday at church, with Fr. Ron Colombo officiating. Full military honors will follow the Mass. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com.
