    Rita Gosse, Seymour, 80, died early Sunday morning, November 18, following a short battle with cancer. She was born on March 18, 1928, in Cadott, WI, to Rudolph and Theresa (Brunner) Lancour. She met and married the love of her life, Emil Gosse, September 3, 1949, in Kaukauna, WI. Following their marriage, they eventually settled in Seymour, where she worked with the school's food service and supervised the production of student lunches in the public school system. She involved herself in numerous activities and community services including Girl Scouts for 17 years, past President of the Legion Auxiliary, Outagamie County Veteran's Council, Seymour Homemaker's and Beecher Lake Association. She was voted Seymour's Outstanding Citizen in 2005. Although Rita was involved in many activities, her favorite was the Seymour Historical Society, the Seymour Community Museum and Music in the Park. Many visitors and groups touring the building were greeted and given personalized tours by Rita though the facility. She was deeply involved in raising funds for the upcoming building project.
    Survivors include husband, Emil Gosse; their two daughters: Rebecca (John) Krugman, Madison; Julie Lardinois, Seymour; three grandchildren: Pam Lardinois (fiance Travis Baranczyk), Sobieski; Scott Lardinois (girlfriend Erica Gieschen), Seymour; and Mike Lardinois, Seymour; stepgrandchildren: Wendy Krugman (fiance Ron Phelps), Madison; Pam Krugman, Madison; and Mandy (Steve) Albrecht, Portage; and step-great-grandchildren, Xavier Albrecht; brother Gene Lancour, Melrose; Tom (Maryann) Lancour, Seymour; Ronnie Lancour, Florida; sisters, Osa (Ed) Herried, Trevor; Verona (Gene) Haessely, Kaukauna; and Maryann Nordstrom, Arizona; sister-in-law, Frieda (Don) Feurig, Seymour; Lee Lancour, Kaukauna; brother-in-law, Vince Ferrari, Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents: Rudolph and Theresa (Brunner) Lancour; sisters: Della Anholzer; Alice Ferrari; sisters-in-law: Val Lancour; Pat Lancour, Kenny Lancour, Marion Gosse, Peg Gosse and Emma Rusch; brother Dick Lancour; brothers-in-law: Bill Anholzer, John Nordstrom; Elmer Gosse, and Roger Rusch.
    Rita was always devoted to projects that benefited the community and was an inspiration to her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by Emil, her husband and her family. There will never again be "A Lady Like You."
    In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be instead made to the Seymour Community Museum so that our community's history might be preserved for all.
    A gathering in Rita's memory will be Wednesday, November 21, at St. John the Baptist Church, Seymour, from 9:30 a.m. until memorial services at 11 a.m. with Father Bob Kabat officiating.     Richard R. Lancour, of Kaukauna, age 74, died Wednesday, October 13, 2004 following a very courageous battle with cancer. Richard was born April 10, 1930 to the late Rudolph and Theresa (Brunner) Lancour in Cadott, WI. He married Leona "Lee" Vanden Hoogen on November 8, 1958 at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute. Richard enlisted into the U.S. Army in 1951, serving as a Corporal with the 38th Regiment Tank Company during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1953. He worked for many years as a Rural Letter Carrier for the U.S. Post Office and after retirement volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul and the V.A. Clinic in Appleton. Richard enjoyed woodworking, deer hunting, fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends at their cottage his father built at Beecher Lake. Richard loved his nine grandchildren and cherished the time he was able to share with all of them.
    He was an active member and usher of Holy Cross Catholic Church and a member of the American Legion Post 258, Little Chute.
    He is survived by his wife, Lee Lancour; a daughter, Lisa (Dan) Peterson and their two children, Nicole & Grace; three sons: Joe (Bridget) Lancour and their two children, Ryan and Claire, Andy (Leah) Lancour and their three children, Bailey, Paul and Rachel and Rick (Chris) Lancour and their two children, Sidney and Casey. He will also be sadly missed by three brothers: Gene (Val) Lancour, Tom (Maryann) Lancour and Ron Lancour; four sisters: Rita (Emil) Gosse, Osa (Ed) Herreid, Verona (Eugene) Haessly and Maryann Nordstrom; and a brother-in-law, Vince (Beti) Ferrari.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Lori, two sisters, Della (Bill) Anholzer and Alice Ferrari.
    The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 16 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna with Fr. Jack T. Mullarkey officiating. Friends will be received on FRIDAY (TODAY) at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Kaukauna from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again Saturday at CHURCH from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow the service at the Parish Cemetery. Full Military Burial Rites will be performed at the Cemetery by American Legion Post 258, Little Chute.     Obituary:
    Verona "Cookie" Haessly, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at Heritage Woods Assisted Living Center in Appleton. She was born to the late Rudolph and Theresa (Brunner) Lancour on October 5, 1931 in Stanley, Wisconsin. On January 16, 1954, Verona married Eugene "Turk" Haessly at St. Mary Catholic Church in Kaukauna. They lived in the area for all their married lives.
    Early in her childhood her family relocated to Kaukauna where she attended grade school and high school. Verona continued her education in Chicago where she graduated from Chicago School of Nursing, which she utilized at an Appleton doctor's office. She switched professions to be a stay-at-home mom to raise their seven children. For many years after that, she was a hostess at Van Abel's of Hollandtown. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and sang in the choir.
    Verona is survived by her children, Susan (John) Jansen of Kaukauna, Steven (Marg) Haessly of Hollandtown, Scott (Lynette) Haessly of De Pere, Richard (Karen) Haessly of Green Bay, Sandra (Jim) Roeser of Green Bay, Jon (special friend Melissa) Kirk of Green Bay, and David (Maureen) Haessly of Kaukauna; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her family: Ed Herreid of Kenosha, Mary Ann Nordstrom of Arizona, Leona Lancour of Kaukauna, Vince Ferrari of Arizona, Thomas (Mary Ann) Lancour of Seymour; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
    Verona is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Eugene "Turk" Haessly, daughter-in-law: Elizabeth Haessly, great-grandson: Tyler Mayer, brothers: Gene, Dick and Ron, sisters: Osa Herreid, Rita Gosse, Della Anholzer and Alice Ferrari, brothers-in-law: Emil Gosse, Bill Anholzer, John Nordstrom and John Brenzel, sisters-in-law: Val, Patricia, and Kendall Lancour, Rosemary Brenzel, nephew: Jeff Brenzel.
    Services for Verona will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 5, 2017 at St. Francis Church in Hollandtown with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating.     Lori Ann Lancour Lori Ann Lancour- 2-month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lancour, 511-1/2 W, Seventh street, Kaukauna died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday. She had been ill since she was born Feb. 4 in Kaukauna. The Rev. Peter Salm, of St. Mary church, Kaukauna, officiated at graveside services at St. Mary cemetery Saturday afternoon.     William J. Ristow, 34, Neenah, formerly of Crivitz, passed away on Friday, Oct. 8, 2010. He was born on June 25, 1976, in Appleton, the son of John and Kathleen (Anholzer) Ristow. Bill loved the outdoors, white water rafting, fishing, but most of all he adored his children.
    He is survived by his children, Coltin and Vanessa and their mother Trista Miller; mother, Kathy (Scott) Hickinbotham, Clemmons, North Carolina; father, John (Deb) Ristow, Crivitz; sister, Christine (Brian) Wepfer, Neenah; brother, Michael Ristow, Maui, Hawaii; stepsisters and brothers, Molly (Damian) Pennings, Andy Hickinbotham and Jennifer (Joel) Schampers; Chad (Tracy) Hensen and Jessica Hensen; nieces and nephews, Kelsey, Matthew, Megan, Elana, Logan and Kendra. Bill is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth and Alvin Ristow; William and Della Anholzer; and his nephew, Trevor Ristow.
    The memorial service for Bill will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME. Rev. Dick Schaefer will be officiating. A time of visitation and support will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established for his children.
