    Lavonne M. Ritzman, age 84, of Grand Chute, passed away at St. Paul Villa in Kaukauna on Saturday, July 23, 2016. She was born in Stanley, Wisconsin, on October 11, 1931 to the late Lawrence and Odelia (Duss) Heiting. On October 18, 1955 she married Edwin Ritzman at St. Anne Catholic Church in Stanley, Wisconsin. Lavonne was employed with Peerless Laundry Cleaners for over eighteen years before her retirement.
    As a homemaker Lavonne enjoyed gardening, canning and baking. Later in life she began drawing and sharing her artistic sketches with her family and friends. Lavonne will be remembered for her gentle heart, sweet spirit, Christian values and the love for her family. She always put the needs of others before her own. Her kindness touched everyone she met.
    Lavonne is survived by her loving children, Jeff (Julie) Ritzman of Appleton, Donna (Gary) Giles of Appleton, Greg (Cheryl) Ritzman of Chelsea, Oklahoma, Gloria (Ted) Banker of Knoxville, Tennessee and Kevin (Anne) Ritzman of Appleton; twelve grandchildren: Jaclyn Ritzman and Joshua Ritzman, Angela (Paulo) deMoraes, Aaron (Erin) Giles, Jon Giles (special friend Crystal), Matthew Ritzman, Keri Jo (Steven) Fuller, Morgan (special friend Jeff), Weston and Tommy Banker, Soundarya and Reena Ritzman; eight great grandchildren: Isabela, Ana and Gabriel deMoraes, Adison and Bentley Giles, Calvin, Braedy and Dawson Fuller. She is further survived by her brothers: Richard (Nina) Heiting and Orville Heiting; sisters: Millie (Jim) Mohnen and Nan Mohnen and many nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin, on January 26, 2012; brother and sister-in-law Kenneth (Linda) Heiting; nephew, Ryan Heiting and sister-in-law, Carol Heiting.
    The funeral liturgy will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at ST. PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH, 500 W. Marquette Street in Appleton. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday starting at 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass with Rev Thomas J. Farrell officiating. Interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund with a Parkinson's foundation will be established in Lavonne's name.

    Obituary:
    Orville Michael Heiting, age 82, of Greenville, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2017 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Orville was born to the late Lawrence and Odelia (Duss) Heiting on March 13, 1935 in Stanley, WI. Orville was united in marriage to Carol Reis on May 11, 1957. She preceded him in death in 1996. He joined the US Army and served from April 10, 1952 until March 4, 1953. Orville was also in the US Navy from 1953 to 1956 and the Naval reserves from 1953 to 1960. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and the Amvets. Orville served as a volunteer fireman for the Town of Vanden Broek and the Town of Greenville. During his lifetime he worked at Kimberly-Clark Corporation, the Town of Greenville, various part-time jobs and owned and operated Heiting's Bar in Greenville. Orville loved woodworking, fishing, hunting, going up north and especially spending time with his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.
    Orville is survived by his daughter, Connie Schuh, Greenville; sons, Larry (Debra) Heiting, Black Creek, Allen (Jody) Heiting, Menasha, Brian (special friend Barb) Heiting, Greenville and Corey (special friend Mandi) Heiting; grandchildren, Chris (fiance` Jessica), Heiting, Eric (Carrie) Heiting, Matthew (Megan) Heiting, Melissa (Tyler) Spindler, Aaron (special friend Sarah) Schuh, Tiffany (Jed) Hassemer, Marcus (special friend Lexi) Schuh and Abigail, Angela and Alexander Heiting; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Nina) Heiting, Appleton and sisters, Romilda "Millie" (James) Mohnen, Neenah and Rosanne "Nan" Mohnen, Hortonville. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
    Orville was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lavonne "Tootie" (Edward) Ritzman and brother, Kenneth (Linda) Heiting.
    A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville, with Fr. Michael Warden and Fr. Justin Werner officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Borchardt Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville and again on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service directly at the church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery with full military honors.

    Kenneth L. Heiting, age 68, Black Creek, WI, passed away July 5, 2013, due to complications from a motorcycle accident. Ken was born to Lawrence and Odelia Heiting on June 25, 1945, in Stanley, WI. He graduated from Stanley High School in 1964. He then served in the United States Army from 1966-1969 achieving the rank of Sergeant (E-5). He served one tour of duty in Vietnam. Upon returning home, he served a five-year apprenticeship in tool and die. He was united in marriage to Linda Sturges, Neenah, WI, on May 23, 1971. After working as a tool and die maker for several years, he achieved his dream of opening his own shop, Heiting Tool and Die in 1979, along with his wife. They operated the business until 2002. He assisted dozens of young men in getting their trades apprenticeships. He is remembered for treating people fairly, yet expecting the best from them. His greatest enjoyments in life were his children and grandchildren. Doing things to make their lives smoother was what he wanted to do most. He also enjoyed gardening with his wife. Together they maintained their beautifully landscaped property of 11 acres in Black Creek, which they named Windsong Gardens. It became the site for many weddings of family and friends. He was a talented jack-of-all trades, building many projects over the years including a covered bridge and large operating water wheel. He also enjoyed cooking large dinners for his family. He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Town of Center. His faith in Jesus Christ was most important to him and sustained him through all of life's challenges. He is survived by his son, Shawn (Tammy), Appleton, WI, their six children, Steven, Jewel, Matthias, Star, Asher, and Noble; his daughter-in-law, Debbie Heiting Lindquist (Jason), Lodi, WI, and their three children, Whisper, Jayden, and Jarrett. He is also survived by two brothers, three sisters, father-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Linda; son, Ryan; his parents; and mother-in-law. Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, from 4-8 PM and Thursday, July 11, 2013, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Town of Center, from 9:30 AM until services at 11:00 AM with Pastors Micah Martin and Jeffrey Suhr officiating.
