    Biography:
    The second of four children born to Wilhelmina Augusta (Moeser) and Johan Friedrich Ferdinand Belling, "Gustie" came to America with her parents and older sister Mary in April 1883. On September 19, 1903 she married Rudolph Johan Carl Friedrich Witt of Greenville. Togehter they had two sons: Edwin Ferdinand and Marvin Herman. Sadly Edwin died at age two of tuberculosis and spinal menangitis in 1906. A year later, Rudolph succombed to tuberculosis as well. Six years later she married Oscar Richard Loos, himself a widower. Together Gussie and Oscar had four children: Gertrude Mary, Willard, Oscar William, Jr. and Earl Henry. Only Oscar, Jr. survived childhood.

    Mrs. Oscar Loos, 68, of 23 Sherman Place, died about 6 o'clock Sunday evening at her home after a long illness.
    Survivors in addition to her husband include a daughter, Mrs. Fred Knaack, Appleton; four sons, Oscar Loos, Jr., Herbert Loos, Walter Loos, all of Appleton, and Marvin Witt, Fairbanks, Alaska; three brothers, William Belling, Appleton; Theodore Belling, Maryland; and Henry Belling, California; six sisters, Mrs. Alfred Casperson, Appleton; Mrs. Justine McKee, California; Mrs. Herman Hidde, Sheboygan; Mrs. Arthur Francois, Appleton; Mrs. Chester Lauferski, Skokie, Ill.; Mrs. Lawrence Waters, Chicago; and 11 grandchildren.
    Mrs. Loos was born Oct. 28, 1882 in Germany and moved to Appleton as a small child. She lived here the remainder of her life. She was a member of St. Johns Evangelical and Reformed Church.
    Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home from 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon until 10 o'clock Wednesday morning and then at the church until the time of the funeral service.
    Services will be held at St. Johns Evangelical and Reformed church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. Andrew Guenther in charge. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
