    Obituary:
    Dorothy "Cookie" Huettl, 96, of Seymour passed away February 1, 2013 at home. She was born October 20, 1916 to the late Oscar and Minnie Cook.
    Dorothy taught school in Seymour where she met the love of life Ervin Huettl. The couple spent 65 years of married life together before he preceded her in death in 2008. After graduating with her Bachelor's degree from Stevens Point she started her first teaching job in New Lisbon and then on to several Seymour area one-room schools, including Pine Grove, Cicero and others. She also taught in Oneida and Pulaski, and the Green Bay School district for many years until she retired. Dorothy was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and a member of the Christian Mothers Alter Society. She was a Seymour area Girl Scout leader and an Avon sales person.
    She considered her time at the cottage with family her home away for home.
    Dorothy is survived by her six children -sons: Peter, Madison; Mike and John, Seymour; daughters: Rosemary (Kevin) Clarke, Kewaunee; Katie Huettl (Kevin DeChateu), Green Bay; Ann Huettl-Samson, Seymour; sixteen grandchildren: Nick (Alecia), Paul, and Phil (Katie) Huettl; Joey and Tom Clarke; Katy (Brent) Zerkel; Ross and Stu (Brittany Balmer) Huettl; Tyler DuChateau; Richie Samson (special friend Sheri Reinhart & children); Jeremy (Jody) Czaia) Samson; Courtney (Perry) Schisel; Ashley Samson and Matt (Kate) Samson; Ryan and Alex Huettl; great-grandchildren: Cole, Isaac and Addison Samson; Katoa Bogileka; Noah and Grace Zerkel; Meredith and Benjamin Huettl; Max and Tanner Samson; Reece and Paige Schisel; sister, Sally (Diane) Cook; brothers: Bill Cook and David (Joyce) Cook; sister-in-law, Sylvia VandeCorput; many nieces and nephews.
    Dorothy is preceded in death by infant daughter, Mary; two daughters- in- law: Joyce and Robin Huettl; brothers: Bob and Bud Cook; sisters: Margaurite and Carol; brothers-in-law: Gerry (Stella) Huettl, Ivo (Gladys) Huettl, Francis (Eileen) Huettl, Joe (Ginny) Huettl, and Bernie (Mary) Huettl.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with Rosary and prayer service to follow and on Friday, February 8, 2013 at St. John's Catholic Church in Seymour at 9:30 a.m. until the Funeral Mass at 11:00a.m. with Msgr. John Schuh and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating.

    Obituary:
    Matthew "Sammytime" C. Samson, age 29, of Seymour passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013 as a result of non-smokers lung cancer. He was born February 5, 1984 son of Richard Samson and Ann Huettl-Samson.
    Matt attended Seymour High School where he was involved in many different sports. Matt loved to play baseball and softball. It was through his connections with the many ball teams where he made so many great friends.
    Matt worked at Seymour Beverages for several years and enjoyed all of his customers on the route.
    Matt loved the Packers, going to the games and watching the fly-overs. He was so proud to be an American. He loved to travel and would take a road trip any chance he got.
    Matt enjoyed spending time with Kate and the boys, time at the cottage, and loved his entire family with all of his heart.
    On June 29, 2013 he married the love of his life and best friend, Katie Wesse. Matthew was an incredible husband, father, son, brother and friend to many.
    He is survived by his wife, Kate; sons: Tanner and Maddox; parents: Ann Huettl-Samson and Richard Samson; brothers and sisters: Richie Samson, Jeremy Samson, Courtney (Perry) Schisel, and Ashley Samson. He is further survived by nieces, Addison and Paige; Godchild Hadley; nephews; Isaac, Cole, Reece, and Katoa. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
    Matt was preceded in death by grandparents: Ervin and Dorothy Huettl, and Leon and Francis Samson.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, October 18, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Bob Kabat officiating.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Matt's memory.
