    MRS. HENRY LOSSELYONG Mrs. Katherine Losselyong, 66. wife of Henry Losselyong. died early Wednesday morning at her home at 508 S. Cherry st. She was a resident of Outagamie-co for many years, living in town of Center for 44 years, and in Appleton or six years. Her marriage took place 43 years ago . She was a member of the Christian Mothers society of St. Joseph church. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at St. Joseph church, with burial at St. Joseph cemetery. Mrs. Losselyong is survived by her widower; five children. Mrs. Peter Scherter, New London; Mrs. J. P. Demerath. Brunswick. Nebr.: Mrs. William Ellenbecker. Edgar: Mrs. Ed , ward Dietz.     Funeral for Mrs. John Demerath Saturday
    Funeral services for Mrs. John Demerath Sr. were conducted Saturday morning Jan. 5 at St. Ludger Catholic church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph B. Falke V.F. celebrated the solemn requiem high mass, with the Rev. Charles Oborny of Verdigre as deacon and the Rev. Edgar Wortmann of Creighton as subdeacon.
    Mrs. Demerath passed away Wednesdy, Jan 2 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital at Norfolk at the age of 65.
    Burial was in St. Ludger cemetery. Pallbearers were F.D. Carroll, Leo Frisch, Fred Ulrich and Henry Ebel of Creighton, Joseph Jelinek of Walnut and Richard Tichy of Niobrara.
    Elizabeth Losselyong was born Nov. 11, 1887 at Greenville, Wis., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Losselyong. Surname is also spelled Losselyoung. On Oct 5, 1915 she married John P. Demerath of Stanton at the Catholic church in Greenville.
    They made their home in Stanton for seven years and then moved to Brunswick. They also lived on a farm near Plainview. In 1949 they retired and moved into Creighton, where they lived until the time of her death.
    Surviving are her husband; three sons, Raymond of Creighton; John Fr. and Edward of Plainview; four daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Ann) Jelinek of Walnut, Mrs. Willard (Elizabeth) Tichy of Verdigre; Mrs. Lawrence (Dorothy) Frisch and Helen of Creighton; 11 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Kate Schetter, Mrs. Wm. Ellenbecker and Mrs. Ed Dietz, all of Wisconsin.
    She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

    Sister Dorine Ellenbecker FSPA
    Sister Dorine Ellenbecker, Franciscan Sister of Perpetual Adoration, 89, died June 13, 2005, at Villa St. Joseph in La Crosse.
    Sister Dorine was born to William and Clara (Losselyong) Ellenbecker on Jan. 30, 1916, in Edgar. She entered St. Rose Convent on Aug. 19, 1929, and made profession of vows in 1934. She ministered as an elementary teacher. She served in schools in Iowa and Wisconsin for 51 years, including 14 years at Stanley and eight years in Colby. After leaving the classroom, Sister Dorine ministered as a tutor and parish volunteer for 10 years before retiring to St. Rose Convent in 1995. She made the Villa her home in 2004.
    Sister Dorine is survived by her Franciscan community; three sisters, Lucille Shank and Rita Meyer, Wausau, and Verna (Mike) Mroczenski, Edgar; two sisters-in-law, Marie Ellenbecker, Appleton, and Marcie Ellenbecker, Wausau; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Elmer, Jerome, Lawrence and Urban; and one sister, Sister Dorinda Ellenbecker FSPA (1998).
    The Rev. Thomas O'Neill, Viterbo University Chaplain, will preside at the Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 16, in Mary of the Angels Chapel in La Crosse. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in La Crosse. Friends may call after 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, when the body will be met at St. Rose Convent in La Crosse. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Mary of the Angels Chapel in La Crosse.
    Memorials may be sent to Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, 912 Market St., La Crosse WI 54601-8800.

    87, Wausau, died Monday, January 19, 2009 at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau.
    She was born September 7, 1921 in Edgar, daughter of the late William and Clara (Losselyong) Ellenbecker. On October 5, 1957 she married Jack Shank in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in January 1979.
    After graduating high school, Lucille moved to Milwaukee where she worked at St. Michael Hospital as the director of Laundry for 21 years. In 1992, she moved to Wausau and had resided here since. She enjoyed playing cards and was an avid fan of the Packers and Brewers.
    Survivors include two sisters, Rita Meyer, Wausau and Verna (Mike) Mroczenski, Edgar; sister-in-law, Marcie Ellenbecker, Wausau and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
    Besides her parents and husband, Jack, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sister Dorine Ellenbecker and Sister Dorinda Ellenbecker, and three brothers, Jerry, Elmer and Urban Ellenbecker.
    The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 22, 2009 at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Rev. Gerald Pehler O.F.M. Cap. will preside. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Milwaukee. Friends may call on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.

    Funeral services for Raymond J. Demerath, 83, of Creighton were held on Wednesday, August 2, 2000 at St Ludger Catholic Church in Creighton. Father Keith Rezac officiated the 11:00 a.m. service with interment at St. Ludger Cemetery in Creighton.
    Raymond J. Demerath, son of John Sr. and Elizabeth Losselyong Demerath, was born on September 25, 1916 at Stanton, the oldest of eight children. As a young child, he resided with his family on a farm in rural Brunswick.
    Ray attended District 22, Brunswick and St. Ludger Catholic School, Creighton until the eighth grade. He helped out on the family farm until approximately 18 years of age and then traveled throughout the Midwestern states working at various jobs. Several years later, he returned and settled in the Brunswick area. He was married to Ruby Skokan on June 18, 1941 at St. Ludger Catholic Church. Ray and Ruby are the parents of five children, Judy, Larry, Patty, Phyllis and Lois.
    DuRing the years of their farming career, they lived in rural Brunswick, Creighton, Tilden and moved to Norfolk in 1982. Ray still continued to commute to his cattle operation on his Tilden farm for several years, Upon selling this farm, he immediately became involved in many activities in the Norfolk community.
    After earning his GED degree from NECC at the age of 76, he began tutoring others in the program. Ror many years he was an active member of the Norfolk Men's Chorus and still continued this when they moved back to Creighton. At age 60 he earned his pilot's license, purchased an airplane and spent a lot of time traveling.
    Ray was a member of St. Ludger Catholic Church, Creighton, belonged to the Knights of Columbus and was a past member of the Norfolk Men's Chorus.
    Ray passed away at the Creighton Care Cretre on July 29, 2000 at the age of 83.
    Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Ruby; children, Judy Rech of Pleasant Hill, CA., Larry of Valley, Patty and husband, Ray Cerny, of Kearney, Phyllis and husband, Merle Weber, of Plainview and Lois Tiemann of Villa Park, IL; 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; brothers, John Demerath Jr. of Creighton; sisters, Ann Jelinek and Betty Tichy of Verdigre and Dorothy Frisch of Creighton. They farmed southwest of Verdigre, raising Hereford cattle, and after retirement, moved into Verdigre. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Verdigre and its Altar Society. She also was involved in a number of clubs in Verdigre.

    Ed served in the U.S. Navy from 1946-1948 as a Seaman First Class. He was married to Marguerite Frisch on September 14, 1948 at St. Ludger Catholic Church in Creighton. Six children were born to them, Marilyn, James, Robert, Mary Ellen, Marcia and Monica. They lived and farmed six miles west and 3/4 mile south of Plainview for 36 years before retiring to Creighton.
    Ed was a member of St. Ludger Catholic Church in Creighton and was also a lifetime member of VFW Post #1151, the Knights of Columbus Creighton Council #1238 and the Senior Citizens Club. During his lifetime he served on many community and church boards.

    Elizabeth "Betty" Mary (Demerath) Tichy, daughter of John Peter and Mary Elizabeth (Losselyong) Demerath, was born on October 19, 1925 at Brunswick, Nebraska. She attended St. Ludger Academy and graduated in 1943. Betty was raised in Brunswick and Creighton. She attended college and worked as a secretary in Omaha. She returned home to care for her sister Helen Demerath. On November 25, 1948, she married Willard Frances Tichy at St. Ludger Catholic Church in Creighton, Nebraska. Five children were born to them, Jeanne, Joan, Richard, Gerald and Julie.
    She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church at Verdigre, Nebraska. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters of America and the Altar Society. Betty was a wonderful cook, and always made sure her family was well-fed. She could often be found out in her garden, tending her treasured roses. She loved to polka, along with her husband Willard of 62 years. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother, and her family will miss her greatly, along with her apple pie.
    She died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Alpine Village Retirement Center in Verdigre at the age of 85.
    She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jeanne and Ron Tinkham of Ord, NE, Rick and Cathy Tichy of Council Bluffs, IA, Gary and Kathy Tichy of Dixon, CA, and Julie and Perry Trenhaile of Bloomfield, NE; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Frisch of Creighton, NE; and sister-in-law, Marquerite Demerath of Creighton, NE.     Donald F. Losselyong, age 71, passed away Sunday evening, August 19, 2007, at his home with his loving family at his side after a long struggle with cancer. He fought the battle with courage, grace and dignity. Don was born September 21, 1935, in Appleton to the late Nicholas and Theresa (Hartzheim) Losselyong. He attended St. Joseph Grade School and Appleton West High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1954 to 1957. Don married the former Vivian Peterson of Manawa at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Appleton on May 21, 1960. Don was employed at Geo Banta and later Neenah Printing where he retired in 1999. He was a member of St Pius X Catholic Church.
    Don leaves behind his loving family, Vivian, his wife of 47 years; daughters: Lisa (Jim) Clemons and Julie (Ken) Laeyendecker; and he was the proud and loving grandfather of Tyler and McKenzie Clemons and Alex Kampo. He is further survived by two stepchildren: Jared and Cole Laeyendecker; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty (Bob) Nemacheck, brothers and sisters-in-law: Karl (Delores), Gene (Kathy), Jerry (Elaena) and Betty Losselyong; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Dorothy (George) Nelson, Jim (Ihla) Peterson, Lloyd Schimke and many nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David; a twin brother, Daniel; and his half brother, John (Wilma) Losselyong; a sister-in-law, Irene Schimke and a special Aunt, Margaret Hartzheim.
    Funeral services for Don will be on Wednesday, August 23, 2007, at 11 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 500 W. Marquette St., with Fr. Richard Mauthe officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place at Riverside cemetery.

    Wendell P. Dietz Sr.
    Wendell P. Dietz Sr., 67, 5486 Oriole Lane, town of Plover, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, at his home after a battle with polycythemia vera, a rare blood disorder. He was under the care of Hospice of Portage County.
    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bronislava Catholic Church with the Rev. Pat Umberger officiating. His body will be cremated.
    Friends may call at the Jensen-Jinsky Funeral Home in Plover from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the services. The Knights of Columbus will combine with the general rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
    Mr. Dietz was born Feb. 29, 1932, in the town of Ellington, Outagamie County, a son of the late Edward W. and Anna M. (Losselyong) Dietz.
    He attended St. Mary's (Immaculate Conception) School in Greenville and graduated from Hortonville High School. After graduation, he worked on the family farm.
    In 1955 in he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served overseas near Stuttgart, Germany, before returning to the U.S. in 1957.
    On Aug. 5, 1961, he was married to Kristiane M. Rigden at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Appleton.
    He worked at Burilane Farms, Nampa, Idaho, and Fox River Papers, Appleton, before joining Consolidated Papers Inc., Appleton Division, working there 15 years before transferring to Stevens Point in 1983. He retired from Consolidated in stock prep at the Biron mill in 1994 after 27 years.
    Survivors include his wife; four sons, Lawrence and Edward, both of Stevens Point, Joseph, Seymour, and Wendell Jr., at home; four daughters, Teresa (Alan) Valley, Seymour, Annette, Stevens Point, Katherine (Russ) Glodowski, Amherst Junction, and Angela (Joseph) Coppola, Green Bay; three sisters, Florence Murra, Denver, Colo., Rosemary (Patrick) Berry, Arvada, Colo., and Marlene (Frank) Berna, Pulaski; and 10 grandchildren.
    He was also preceded in death by a son, Paul Charles; a brother, Kenneth; and a sister, Marion.

    Jerry Ellenbecker, 75, Neenah, died peacefully at his home Sunday, March 23, 2014, with his loving family at his side, after a short yet courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Jerry was born October 21, 1938, in Marathon, son of Jerome P. and Marie (Karlen) Ellenbecker. He graduated from Appleton High School, and then served in the Army reserves. He also coached little league baseball in Appleton. Jerry was employed by American Can Corporation until his retirement. He loved gardening, traveling, playing cards and fishing. He especially enjoyed his breakfast clubs on Tuesday and Saturday mornings.
    Jerry is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Ruby; sons: William and Robert (friend Judy), both of Neenah, and Tony, Appleton; a special grandson, Joel Ellenbecker (special friend Tamrah), Neenah; a special sister-in-law, Virginia Neal; a special friend, Denise Ellenbecker; siblings: Gail Jobelius, Madison; Jean (Cyril) Wolff, SC; Karen (Richard) Olsen, Plover; Pat Ellenbecker, CO; Kim Skjoldager, Appleton; Lyle (Mary) Ellenbecker, Kaukauna; Lee (Bunny) Ellenbecker, Appleton; special friend, Carl Fiestedt; other relatives and friends.

    Williamson, Gerald “Jerry”Gerald “Jerry” Williamson, age 58 years, of Sprenger Rd., Marion (To wn of Dupont, Waupaca Co.) passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2005, the resu lt of a tractor accident in the Town of Union, Waupaca Co. Gerald Kenne th Williamson was born on May 18, 1946, in Appleton to Peter and Marion (D ietz) Williamson. Jerry was raised in Greenville and as a teen the fami ly moved to Seymour. He graduated from Seymour High School and then enter ed the military. Jerry served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1965-6 8. He was united in marriage on June 5, 1971, to Sally A. Oskey at St. Den nis Catholic Church, Shiocton. Jerry was a lifelong farmer, he started wi th his parents, then with his brother and finally after marriage the coup le farmed together. He was also employed for nine years at Appleton Paper s. In 1981 the couple settled in the Town of Dupont and continued dairy fa rming. Jerry is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church where he was acti ve as an usher. He will be remembered most as a hard worker and a loving h usband, father and grandfather.Survivors include his wife, Sally; five children: Angela (Scott) Emmert, M enasha; Judith (Christopher) Burr, Appleton; Melissa (Jon) Laack, Mario n; Rebecca (Corey) Janke, Manawa; and Kenneth (Jessie) Williamson, Clinton ville.     Bill H. Ellenbecker, 52, Neenah, passed away unexpectedly at Theda Clark Medical Center on June 16, 2014, with his loving family at his side. He was born February 20, 1962, in Neenah, son of Jerome and Ruby (Pluger) Ellenbecker. Bill attended Neenah High School, and then served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Guadalcanal. He played little league in Appleton and also legion baseball in Neenah. Bill was a chef at various places in the valley, and he also owned The Peak Bar in Neenah.
    Bill is survived by his mother, Ruby; brothers: Robert (special friend Judy), Neenah, and Tony, Appleton; his children: Joel (special friend Tamrah) Ellenbecker, James T. Maitland and Shannon A. Anderson; grandmother, Rose Goodwin; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other friends.
    Bill was preceded in death by his father, Jerry, on March 23, 2014.
    Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial Street, Neenah, with Fr. Larry Seidl officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Bill's name.
