    Obituary:
    Mrs. Carl Grimmer, 81, died at 3:10 this morning at the home of her son, Fred Grimmer, 511 Seventh street, Kaukauna, after a 6-month illness. She was born July 19, 1856, in the town of Centerville and lived in Kaukauna the last 54 years. Her husband died three years ago.
    She was a member of Immanuel Evangelical and Reformed church and of the Ladies' Aid society of that church.
    The body will be at the home, where funeral services will be held at 1:30 Thursday afternoon. There will be another service at 2 o'clock the same afternoon at Immanuel Evangelical and Reformed church, Kaukauna, with the Rev. E. L. Worthman, Kiel, in charge. Burial will be in Union cemetery, Kaukauna.
    Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Amanda Weifenbach, Ann Arbor, Mich.; two sons, Fred, Kaukauna, and Edward, Manitowoc; one brother, August Janing, Newton, Wis.; four sisters, Mrs. W. Moyer, Mrs. Albert Burkhart and Mrs. William Burkhart, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Herman Goeke, Cleveland, Wis.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

    Fred W. L. Grimmer 511 W. 7th St., Kaukauna Age 83, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday after a long illness. He was born April 15, 1881 in Manitowoc Co. and lived in Kaukauna for 75 years. He was a machine tender for 41 years at Combined Locks Paper Co. until his retirement in 1943. He was a charter member of the I.B.P.M.; a 64 year member of the I.O.O. F.; a member of the Modern Woodman. Mr. Grimmer is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Albert (Gladys) Stanelle, Marysville, Ohio; two sons, Elmer, Sharpsville, Pa. and Clarence, Kaukauna; one sister, Mrs. Fred Weifenbach, Midland, Mich.; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Immanuel United Church of Christ, Kaukauna, with interment in the Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home, Kaukauna, from 2 p.m. Friday until 1 p.m. Saturday and then at the church.

    Obituary:
    William F. Grimmer, Pickerel, Wis., formerly of Kaukauna, 72, passed away on Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, after a short illness. He was born April 4, 1935, son of the late Clarence and Evelyn (Revoir) Grimmer. William moved to Pickerel, Wis., (which he called Paradise) in 1997. He served in the U.S. Marines and retired from Valmet after 25 years of service as a machinest.
    He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Marlene (Ellis) Grimmer, Pickerel; his five children, Debra Miller (Steve Douglas), Kaukuana; Diane Schultz, Fayetteville, N.C.; Dan (Ellen) Eisenschink, Kaukauna; Dave (Deedi) Eisenschink, Kaukauna; Cheryl (Ron) Pennenberg, DePere; his special grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his two sisters, Nancy (Ron) Verkuilen and Bonnie Vanevenhoven; several nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his very special dogs, Sam, Gidget and Molly.
    William was preceded in death by his parents; his mother-in-law and father-in-law; his granddaughter, Jessica Miller and a brother-in-law, Jerry Vanevenhoven.
    A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday at Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukuana with Pastor Melinda Feller officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. Tuesday until the time of services.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
