    To Whom It May Concern, I can across your information on our Schonarth family-tree. I am writing this to give you information I noticed that you do not have. This is the family of Mary G. Nee the daughter of Thomas Nee and Mary (Ridge) Nee of Boston Massachusetts:
    Mary Ridge was born in Galway County, Ireland about 1847 the daughter of James Ridge and Barbara Conley/Connley. She
    married in Ireland Thomas Nee (parents unknown) who was born in Galway County Ireland about 1845. They had one son in
    Galway County Ireland named John Nee....born 15 Oct. 1872.
    In 1873 this family immigrated to Boston, Massachusetts USA
    prob. through the port of Boston.
    In 1879 found living at 183 Dorchester Street, Boston, MA with John Nee and his wife Margaret.
    In 1900 found living at Bolton Street, Boston MA with John Nee and his wife Margaret (maiden name unknown)

    I started my search in Boston, Massachusetts. Found the marriage record of Thomas Nee and Mary Ridge 27 Sept 19008
    Boston Vol 17 Pg 131.
    As near as I can figure Thomas Nee was born Jan 1845 possibly in Galway, Ireland. In one of the census records I found
    that Thomas Nee was a watchman. His marriage record states his father was John Nee and mother was Bridget Joyce. Mary
    Ridge was the daughter of James Ridge and Barbara Conneely. Thomas died in Boston in 1908 Vol 11 Pg 131.

    Joseph Schonarth was married twice. His first wife was Ora Dwelly. After their divorce, she was murdered. I have many of the newspaper articles on this. Joseph married 2nd Bambi Lena DiPalmo (some of the family spell it with an "o" at the end and other family members spell it with an "a" at the end. Anything to be more confusing..LOL).
    Right after his marriage to Bambi , he adopted my husband as his son. It is possible he did this because he was the real biological father but, we still have to prove this. What makes it so hard is that all are deceased now and there were no biological siblings to do DNA testing with.

    JOSEPH PETER SCHONARTH JR
    He was born 18 September 1920 in Boston, Massachusetts the son of Josef Peter Schonarth Sr and Mary Nee.
    He married first on 12 February 1948 in Needham, Massachusetts to Ora H. Dwelley who was born in Lee, Maine the daughter of Albert Dewelley and Bertha Budge.
    They had no children and were divorced in 1954. She was murdered on 28 July 1954 at her home 78 Cypress Street, Brookline Massachusetts by a neighborhood boy with her own seamstress scissors.
    He married second in late 1954 Boston, Massachusetts to Bambina Lena DiPalma born 6 February 1922 in Boston, Massachusetts the daughter of Felice DiPalma and Giovannia "Jennie" Montsanti.
    When Joseph was 2 years 8 months old, his mother Mary Nee died on 8 May 1923. His father married Alice Effie Malone the daughter of Albert Malone and Mehitable Murchie. Alice was a good Irish lady who loved and raised young Joseph as if he were her very own son. Joseph loved her enough to list her as his mother on many documents he made out over the years.
