    Obituary:
    Gladys A. (Hove) Heegeman, Kaukauna, 88, died on Sunday, January 1, 2006, at St. Paul Villa. Gladys was born in Appleton, on March 10, 1917, daughter of the late Harry and Catherine (Hoh) Hove. She graduated with the class of 1934 from Appleton High School. Gladys married Lawrence Heegeman on June 13, 1936, and he preceded her in death in 1982. She was a member of the Ladies Aid at St. Joseph Catholic Church and a den mother for the Cub Scouts. Gladys was a sports enthusiast and Packer fan. She enjoyed playing bingo at St. Paul Home and Villa, and also cards with friends, her dear neighbors and grandchildren.
    Gladys will be greatly missed by her children, Carol (Bill) Marquardt, Larry W. Heegeman and Sister Betty Ann Heegeman, O.P.; sister, Mildred Brecklin; grandchildren: Kari Lee (Steve) Miller, Donald (Frankie McCormick) Marquardt, William Marquardt Jr., Robert (Tina) Marquardt, Joseph (Michelle) Marquardt and Shelly (Andrew) Goede; great-grandchildren: Kyle and Tawnee Miller; Joshua Marquardt; Tommy Joe Marquardt; Valisa and Mikey Marquardt; Meghan, Aaron and Tyler Allen Marquardt; Jensen, Reed, Cooper and Reagan Goede. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Gladys was preceded in death by her brother, Harry Hove; sisters, Donna Guenther, Bernice Heinzl, Florence Barth and Katie Dempeywolf; and infant granddaughters, Margaret and Mary Heegeman.
    The funeral mass will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, January 4, 2006, at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 West Lawrence St., Appleton, with Rev. Larry Abler officiating. The visitation will be held at the church, on Wednesday, January 4 from 4 until 7 p.m. The interment will be held at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.

    Heegeman, Lawrence W. "Larry"
    Lawrence W."Larry" Heegeman, Combined Locks, age 67, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, December 27, 2006. He was born in Appleton on September 16, 1939, son of the late Lawrence and Gladys (Hove) Heegeman. Larry was proud to serve in the United States Marine Corp. Larry was employed as a truck driver for over 30 years at Riverside Paper Corporation. He enjoyed watching the Packers and Brewers on T.V., playing baseball, bowling, golf and playing cards with his grandchildren and his friends at Jerry Kamps.
    He is survived by his daughter, Shelley (Andrew) Goede of Franklin, WI; grandchildren: Jensen, Reed, Cooper and Reagan; and sisters: Carol (Bill) Marquardt and Sister Betty Ann Heegeman, O.P. He is further survived by a niece, four nephews, relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his infant daughters, Margaret and Mary Heegeman.
    The funeral liturgy will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2006, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 419 E. Wallace St., Combined Locks. Friends will be received at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the liturgy. The burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Larry's name to benefit his grandchildren's education.
