    Obituary:
Ethel Ida Moehring (nee Sedo) Died November 21, 2014.
Born March 12, 1915 in the Township of Liberty, Wisconsin, Ethel Sedo married Ralph Moehring in 1937 and lived in Appleton, where they became active and proud members of their church and community. Ethel held many roles supporting various Appleton organizations, including St. Elizabeth Hospital, St Therese School and Parish, Xavier High School, and the Appleton Community Foundation. She ardently supported the Crozier Society (Green Bay Diocese), Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre, Marquette University, School Sisters of Notre Dame and many other deserving efforts. The roles Ethel held closest to her heart were those of wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Ethel was blessed with amazing health and spirit throughout her life and will be remembered by those who knew her for her ready smile, always positive attitude and constant competitive spirit - whether in bridge, golf or life.
Survived by her children, Judith (Sr. Mary Pamela, SSND) Madison; Marilyn (Bruce) Boardman, Geneseo, IL; Pamela (John) Peters, Naples, FL; sister-in-law, Alice Nickel as well as cousins, nieces and nephews.
Ethel's legacy will continue with her six grandchildren and [almost] 16 great-grandchildren, Adam (Kristina), Kyle and Anna Boardman; Molly (Philip), Niamh and Anthony O'Brien; Elizabeth (Jeff), Clare, Elouise and Delilah Hulsbrink; Jacob (Eileen), Jack, Billy, Ryan and Colin Peters; Kathryn (David), Sarah and Baby Bushnell; John, Jr. (Lauren), Mary Kathryn, Nora and Betsy Peters.
Preceded in death by Ralph, her husband of 67 years; brother, Wilbert Sedo, parents, Louise and Lawrence Sedo; in-laws, Florian and Estelle Moehring, Alex Nickel, Milton Sachs, Ruth Sedo and Mildred Vandenberg.
A Mass in Memoriam will be held at 11:30 a.m. on December 2, 2014, at St. Bernard Church, 1617 West Pine Street, Appleton, Wisconsin.
Ethel's wish is that we continue her tradition of generosity by passing forward a kind act or treasure to help others become their very best. In lieu of flowers, we are grateful to those who honor Ethel's memory in this special way.
This kind and loving woman positively influenced all who knew her and will be deeply missed.

    Obituary:
b>Schimmelpfenning, Earl WalterOut of the arms of my family, into the arms of my Lord. I passed into the arms of my Lord on Friday morning, March 23, 2007, at 8:30 a.m. at Manor Care, at the age of 74. On September 18, 1932, I was given life to a wonderful family. I was born in Appleton to the late Ernest and Mabel Schimmelpfenning and have lived here all of my life. On September 27, 1958, I wed Dona Danley. That marriage lasted 48 years. Dona, your love, patience and sense of God have shepherded me through my final time here on earth with dignity and respect. I love you. We had two daughters, Cindy Lou and Kim Marie. Cindy married Jeffery Ashauer. My life was made complete when they gave us four grandsons, Jesse, Justin, Matthew and Maxwell. We were blessed with two grandchildren from Kim, Nicholas Reiter (who was like a son to me) and then on May 11, 2004, with our only granddaughter Courtney Jo Kepler. I was employed by I. Bahcall Steel and Supply (now Russell Steel) for 34 years, retiring on June 30, 1995. I am survived by my two sisters, Doris Handler and Ruth (Charlie) Ziegler and my brother Marvin (Marion) Schimmelpfenning. My sisters-in-law Dolores Danly, Marjorie (Frank) Gretzinger and Blanche (John) Garofalo. I have also enjoyed my many nieces, nephews, you are all so special. We also lost my brother Norman Schimmelpfenning and his wife, Lorraine; and my brothers-in-law Raymond Handler, Raymond Hertzfeld and Clarence Danley. I do not want you to mourn my death, but to celebrate your life. For now you must make the most of the life I have given you. I will be watching over you in a quiet way. I have met so many people over the years with Dona's work with Aid Association for Lutherans (Thrivent Financial), all those times were so precious working with the volunteers. We really had some good times. It made my life very special. Thanks to all of our friends who visited me at Manor Care. That was really nice. A special thanks to the Manor Care staff that took care of me, you were all so special. Also, to the staff of Heartland Hospice, Dr. Philip Yazbak, doctors, nurses and staff at Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology and Radiation Oncology. A special thanks to our family doctor, Dr. Keri Sheldon. My funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at OUR SAVIOUR'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3009 N. Meade St., with Rev. Dennis E. Ellisen officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in my name.

    Obituary:
Chad A. Hafeman, age 35, of Appleton, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016. He was born on December 24, 1980 in Appleton to Roger and Lynette. Chad attended Appleton High School and went on to The Fox Valley Technical College where he studied welding. He was most recently employed as a concrete worker.
Chad was a person who would light up a room with smiles, laughter, jokes and his well-known dancing. His "Jack-of-all-Trades" abilities were beyond the working hands as he also loved dancing crazy with his kids and was never afraid of embarrassing them; Chad's children were his world and he loved them more than they will ever be able to know. Chad never cared of what others might think of him and he lived everyday being who he wanted to be. He most enjoyed his family and friend time with cookouts (Chad was an excellent cook), camping, pool leagues, video games and listening to endless music that kept him believing that life goes on. Chad would always put his own problems aside to help, comfort and protect others. He was known for his glory of putting everyone ahead of himself. His children are what kept him going because he too was still a kid at heart.
Chad is survived by his 8 children, Brandon Sumnicht, Devin Sumnicht, Eliza Hafeman, Airyana Hafeman, Natasha Hafeman, Niles Hafeman, Mason Hafeman and Logan Hafeman; parents, Roger Hafeman and Lynette La Bonte; step-mother, Judy Hafeman; six siblings, Boyd (Toni) Bender, Melissa (Casey) Wheeler, Amber (Kevin) Ostorero, Trisha Strong, Travis (Sabrena) Hafeman and Nicole (Jason) Thurke; grandparents, Mildred Hafeman and Joanne and Napoleon La Bonte. Chad is further survived by 11 nieces, 5 nephews, many more dear relatives and close friends.
Chad was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Hafeman.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at WICHMANN FARGO FUNERAL HOME, 537 N. Superior St. Appleton. Visitation will take place on Friday starting at 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be donated in Chad's name. Online condolences can be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
