    Obituary:
    Richard Clark, 89, passed away peacefully October 22, 2012 at home with family at his side. The son of Richard F. and Adele R. (Garvoille) Clark, Richard was born February 11, 1923 in Belleville, Wisconsin.
    After serving in the army and graduating from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville, Richard earned a degree in dentistry from Loyola University in Chicago in 1950. He continued his training and residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Texas - Galveston, and the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. Upon establishing an oral surgery practice in Appleton in 1954, Richard met and married his wife, Janet Doll, on August 13, 1955.
    Richard was a beloved husband, father and grandfather who was devoted to his family, church and community. He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish in Kimberly, serving on the church council and as an usher for many years. Throughout his working years and after retirement, Richard was active in a variety of organizations. He served as past president of Outagamie County Dental Society, Appleton Noon Lions Club and Serra Club. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion.
    Survivors include his wife: Janet; four children: Mary (Kevin) Dieck of Appleton; Rick (Laurie) Clark of Gurnee, Illinois; Margie (Michael) Mevis of Appleton; and Maureen (Gregg) Syring of Appleton; ten grandchildren: Maxwell, Marsden, Mallory, Catherine, Christine, Ian, Isaac, Elliott, Sophia, and Graham. Richard is also survived by a sister: Anne (Urban) Van Hoof of Kaukauna; a brother: Bill (Helen) Clark of Madison; three sisters in law: Gloria Clark of Poynette, Audry Doll of Rockford, Illinois, and Margaret Doll of Berlin; as well as many nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; a brother: Jim Clark of Poynette; a sister: Mary (Sherwood) Russell of Appleton; and his sisters-in-law and brothers-in- law: Jeanne (George) Dolan of Miami, Florida; Roland Doll of Omro; Raymond (Helen)Doll of Madison; George Doll of Berlin; Bill Doll of Rockford, IL; and Bob Doll of Appleton.
    The funeral liturgy for Richard will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 29, 2012 at HOLY SPIRIT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly, with Msgr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the mass.

    Anne E. Van Hoof, Little Chute, age 92, died at her home on Saturday, April 15, 2017. She was born on August 26, 1924 in Belleville to the late Richard and Adele (Gavoille) Clark. On June 13, 1949 Anne married Urban Van Hoof at St. Mary Parish in Belleville. He preceded her in death on September 24, 2013. Anne loved playing golf and the piano. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing and traveling.
    Anne is survived by her sons: David (Tari), Appleton; John (Julie), Appleton; and Michael (Heather), Kaukauna; grandchildren: Ashley (Anthony) Wilhelms, Kelly (Tom) Campbell, Matthew (Yvonne), Taylor, Logan, Paige and Brooke Van Hoof; great grandchildren: Urban and Mae, and was looking forward to the arrival of a third; brother: Bill (Helen) Clark; and sisters-in-law: Gloria and Janet Clark and Dawn Van Hoof. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    In addition to her parents and husband, Urban, Anne was preceded in death by her son, Jim; sister, Mary (Russ) Russell; brothers: Jim and Richard Clark; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Joan (John) Scherer, Ann (Doc) Goshgarian, Blanche (Tim) Timmers, Gerald (Virginia) Van Hoof and Francis Van Hoof.
    Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 1:30 p.m. until the time of Mass at 3:30 p.m. The Rev.
