Michael Cottrell, age 68, left this world on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Brewster Village, following a four-year battle with many health issues, operations, and rehabs. He was born on July 12, 1949 to his parents Floyd V. and Elizabeth "Betty" (Boehler) Cottrell. Michael was a 1967 graduate of Xavier High School. Michael, I loved you on the very first day we met: April Fool's Day, 1969! Whoever could resist such a handsome Hunk with long sideburns, in a Nehru jacket, with a pewter Peace medal & a hangy-down pipe, while he's all hunched over, intensely writing the great American novel? Not I! For, I truly found "my knight in white satin!" And, we lived happily ever after…forever and a day! Love, your Lady
