    AGED KAUKAUNA RESIDENT DIES
    Robert Hamilton, ILL Long Time, Succumbs Sunday Morning
    Kaukauna - Robert Hamilton, 78, resident of Kaukauna for 68 years, died at his home, 106 Brothers-st, Sunday morning. He was ill for the past five years. He was born June 6, 1851, in Dodge-co. He was a member of the police force here for 12 years. He belonged to Brokaw Memorial Methodist church. Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles Steurns of Kansas City, Mrs. H. Eurt of West DePere. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the home at 2:30 at Brokaw Memorial Methodist Episcopal church. The Rev. H. J. Lane will officiate. Interment will be in Kelso cemetery.

    CONDUCT LAST RITES FOR ROBERT HAMILTON
    Kaukauna - Funeral services for Robert Hamilton, 78, who died Sunday morning after a lingering illness, were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from his home, 106 Brothers-st, and at 2:30 at Brokaw Memorial Methodist Episcopal church. The Rev. H. J. Lane was in charge of the services and Interment was in Kelso cemetery- He was born June 6, 1851, in Dodge-co- and for the past 68 years has lived in Kaukauna. He served on the police force for 12 years. Survivors are his widow and two daughters, Mrs. Charles Stearns of Kansas City and Mrs. H. Burt of W. De Pere.

    Kaukauna - Word has been received here from Los Angeles, Calif, of the death of Mrs. Bertha O'Toole, 46, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamilton of this city,
    which occurred Tuesday morning. She died suddenly. The body will be sent to the home of the deceased's parents here for burial. It is expected that the body will arrive here Friday.

    Obituary:
    Harvey D. Dashner, 90, De Pere, died at his home on Saturday, May 16, 2015. He was born August 1, 1924 in the Town of Lawrence to the late Jacob and Ethel (Burt) Dashner. He married the former Kathleen Bacon on May 29, 1954 in Greenleaf, she preceded him in death on April 16, 2006.
    Harvey was a lifelong member of the De Pere VFW Post 2113 after serving six years in the U.S. Army where he fought in WWII and the Korean War. He worked for the Department of Corrections for 32 years. Harvey enjoyed hunting, fishing with Fritz, Paul, and too many friends to mention, his weekly card games, and spending time with friends at the Out-O-Town Supper Club and Sidekicks. Most of all, Harvey loved being involved in the lives of his family.
    Harvey is survived by his children: Linda (Sam) Giberson, Peggy Nelson, and Dan Dashner. Four grandchildren: Ryan (longtime companion Suzanne Parker) Nelson, Matthew Blair, Daniel Blair, and Nicole Blair. Harvey was preceded in death by his parents; wife Kathleen; son David Dashner; grandson Justin Nelson; and brother Perry (Arlene) Dashner.
    Family and friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere. Prayer service will be held at 7:30 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, 1305 Lourdes Ave, De Pere from 9:00 to 10:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 am with Fr. Tim Shillcox, O. Praem. officiating. Full Military Funeral Honors will be accorded to Harvey before his burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, De Pere.     The Dashner family wishes to thank St. Vincent Hospital, Unity Hospice, and friends who have helped him maintain his independence and dignity.
