    Biography:
    GEORGE KISPERT, JR. One of the progressive and enterprising young business men of Kaukauna, Wisconsin, who, although not long past his majority, has already built up a flourishing business in this city, is George Kispert, Jr., the proprietor of a plumbing and steamfitting establishment. Mr. Kispert is a native of Appleton, Wisconsin, where he was born October 26, 1889, and is a son of George and Mary (Murphy) Kispert, and a grandson of Philip Kispert, who was one of the early pioneers of Outagamie county and a miller by occupation. George Kispert, who was also a native of Appleton, is a papermaker by trade, and now holds the position of superintendent of the Outagamie Paper Mills at Kaukauna, with which large concern he has been connected for a quarter of a century. George Kispert, Jr., was the second in order of birth of the eleven children born to his parents, and he received his early education in the public schools of Kaukauna, after leaving which he at once began to learn the plumbing trade. He started in business on his own account when he was only nineteen years of age, and his venture proved successful from the start, his busines operations now being of such an extent as to necessitate the employment of from five to ten men. On May 29, 1911, Mr. Kispert was married at Kaukauna to Miss Ella Ditzler of this city, daughter of John Ditzler. Mr. and Mrs. Kispert are members of Holy Cross congregation of the Catholic Church, and he holds membership in the Knights of Columbus.

    Elnore Mary (Kispert) Nesberg passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, November 7, 2013, at the Meng Unity Hospice Center.
    She was born on February 9, 1916, in Kaukauna to George and Ella (Dietzler) Kispert, Jr. As a young girl Elnore moved to Green Bay with her family where she attended St. Patrick Grade School and graduated from West High School, Class of 1933. Elnore owned and operated Ridge Point Supper Club in Wrightstown for many years before closing it in 1964.
    In July of 1956, Elnore married Dr. Lloyd Nesberg. After their retirement, Elnore and Lloyd spent many happy years at Ridge Point, enjoying bird-watching, hiking in the woods, and providing a sanctuary for wildlife along the Fox River. They made a loving home for their two dogs, Ridge and Tex, many cats, and various four-legged animals who were lucky enough to land on their porch.
    Elnore will be greatly missed by her surviving sister, Eileen Dwyer; five nieces, Carol (Ron LaPoint), Susan (Stan) Metzger, Mary (Paul) Mongin, Ellen (Bernie) Walenski, and Lynn Dwyer (Curt Lefevre); one nephew, Michael (Kathy) Dwyer; one niece-in-law, Peggy Radick; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
    We will never forget Elnore's charming wit, her zest for life, her love for all of nature (even spiders), and her fierce independence.
    Elnore also leaves behind many dear friends, especially RoseMarie, Marilea, and Colleen, who brought her comfort and flowers in her final days.
    Elnore was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd, in 2007; her parents; a sister, Ruth Radick; an infant sister, Ivyl; a nephew, Gerald Radick; and two brothers-in-law, Ken Radick and Gene Dwyer.
    Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from Noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 9. The Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Deacon Jim Gauthier officiating. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.     Elnore's family gives a heartfelt "Thank You" to the entire staff at the Jack and Engrid Meng Unity Hospice Center. Your gentle and professional care of Elnore was a comfort to us all.

    Elizabeth "Bette" J. Smits, age 85 of Clintonville in the Township of Larrabee, Waupaca County passed away Friday morning February 22, 2013 at the Shawano Medical Center. Survivors include: Her husband of 62 years: Leland Smits, Clintonville. Her Children: Leanne (James) Olds, Madison. Gary (Diane) Smits, Clintonville. Amy (Randy) VanDenHeuvel, Maryville, TN. A memorial service will be held for Bette on Saturday March 2, 2013 at 3 PM at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory in Clintonville with St. Rose Catholic Church Parish Director Lincoln Wood officiating.
