Obituary:
GEORGE HOWK DIES AT HIS HOME IN KAUKAUNA Kaukauna - George F. Howk, 60, died at 7:15 Friday morning at his home at 173 Wisconsln- ave. He lad been in ill health for four years. Mr. Howks came to Kaukauna 27 years ago from Wrightstown and had operated a barber shop here during the last 23 years. Survivors are the widow, two daughters and two sons: Inez of Kaukauna, Mrs. George Henderson of Venice, Calif.: Carl of Chicago, and Merritt of Fond du Lac. Three sisters also survive: Mrs. Clara Bodtke of Wausau, and Mrs. Charles Radder and Mrs. John Miller of Appleton. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the home by the Rev. B. Worthman. The Loyal Order of Moose, will be in charge of the services.

HOLD LAST RITES FOR GEORGE HOWK Funeral Services Are Conducted Tuesday Afternoon at Reformed Church Kaukauna - Funeral services for George F. Howk, 60, who died Friday morning at his home on Wisconsin-ave, were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Immanuel Reformed church. The Rev. E. L. Worthman was in charge of the services. Interment was in Kelso cemetery. The Moose, of which he was a member, had charge of the funeral. Mr. Howk was a well known resident, having lived in Kaukauna for the past 27 years. He operated a barber shop in the city. He took sick about four years ago, and the illness became serious about a week before his death. Pall bears were John Gerhartz, Charles Curry, Clarence Kastle, Arthur Vandenberg, Nick Deber. The deceased is survived by his widow; two sons, Carl of Chicago and Merrit of Fond du Lac; and two daughters, Inez of Kaukauna and Mrs. George Henderson of Venice, Calif., three sisters, Mrs. Cora Bodtke of Wausau, Mrs. Charles Baeder and Mrs. John Miller of Appleton. Out-of-town people attending the funeral were Mr. and Sirs. John Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Raeder. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Raeder, Mr. and Mrs. H. Ellis. Boyd Raeder, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hengstler, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cero.
