    Obituary:
    Dorothy Mae Kramer Kneepkens, 87, of Kimberly, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Appleton Medical Center. Dorothy was born on October 14, 1924 to Joseph and Anna Kramer. She was a graduate of Holy Name of Jesus grade school in 1938 and from Kimberly High School in 1942 as the valedictorian. She attended Lawrence University where she was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority and graduated in 1945. She taught high school in Tigerton, from 1946 until 1947 and Holy Name grade school from 1958 until she retired in 1970. On June 18, 1947 she married the love of her life Al Kneepkens at Holy Name of Jesus. Dorothy was smart, funny, witty, clever, strong, gentle, generous, and had unlimited love for her family. She cared for other people and loved mountains. Dorothy was an avid reader, loved to play bridge, travel (her favorite spot being Ephraim Shores in Door County), counter cross stitch, going out to eat, and spending time with her family.
    Dorothy is survived by her husband of 65 years, Al Kneepkens; her son Mark, of Wauwatosa; her daughter Nancy (Mary Ann Chap) Kneepkens; three granddaughters: Katie (Zach) Espinosa, Kristi (Matt) Ansley, Angie (Matt) Moore, one grandson Michael, and two great grand children; Addison and Elliott Ansley. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter-in-law, Mary Kneepkens.
    A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 22, 2012 at the JANSEN FARGO FUNERAL HOME, 204 E. Kimberly Ave, Kimberly, at 11:00 AM with Fr. John Schuh officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
    The family would like to thank Appleton Medical Center, Rennes Health and Rehab Center, and Hospice for their care, comfort and love and Dr Kroner and Dr. Swanson for their care along with the neighbors, Nancy and Larry Gloudemans, and Pat and Mike Sexton.
