    Robert A. "Bob" Herrmann, age 81, died Sunday, August 1, 2010. He was born on December 21, 1928, to the late Frank and Rose (Bauer) Herrmann. He was a resident of Appleton all of his life. He served in the Army Air Corps in 1946. He married Lois Luebke on August 9, 1952.
    Bob was an active member of St. John United Church of Christ. When he and Lois were younger they served as Advisors to the Youth, and directed Music/Art and Drama (MAD) at the U.C.C. Camp at Green Lake. Through the years, Bob was Head Usher, served as the Financial Secretary, and he sang in the choir and was on the Building Use Team and Twelve Corners Cemetery Committee.
    Bob took an active part in the Americanos and Toros Drum and Bugle Corps when their sons were members of the organization. Bob served as Field Director of the Toros Drum and Bugle Corps and he and Lois chaperoned both corps. They were members of the parent support group.
    He worked at the Paper Mill in Kimberly for 33 years retiring in 1985 from the mill when it was called Midtec Paper Mill.
    Survivors are son, Jaye Herrmann, Milwaukee; Jaye's daughter, Melissa (Cory) Whitcomb; and great-grandsons: Spencer and Jacob Whitcomb of Kaukauna. Son, Scott (Carrie) Herrmann; their daughters: Amanda (Mike) Derouin and Wanda (Kevin) Schaefer; and great grandchildren; Logan and Brianna Derouin and Lilly and Beau Schaefer of Appleton. Son, Todd Herrmann, New London: Todd's son, Anthony, Appleton. Grandson, Justin Herrmann (fiancee Bobbi Zeigelbauer) and their daughter, Elizabeth; and Bobbi's children; Hope and Casper. Sisters; Helen Mankins, Appleton and Dorothy ("Jim") VanDeWalle, Seymour. Mother-in-law, Verona Luebke; sister-in-law, June (Roy) Bastian, Brillion; brother-in-law, Robert Golden, many nieces, nephews and friends.
    Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Erich Luebke; and sister-in-law, Jean Golden.
    Funeral services for Bob will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2010, at St. John United Church of Christ (1130 W. Marquette St.) Appleton. Friends may visit the family starting at 9 a.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will take place at Twelve Corners Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established at St. John United Church of Christ.
    Thank you to Mary and Robin from ThedaCare at Home Hospice for their loving care and to Dr. Dan Heyerdahl, Dr. Peter Ackell and Beth Michelson for their many years of care and concern for Bob.

    Dorothy was called home on Monday morning, June 11, 2012, at the age of 79. She was born in Appleton on November 9, 1932, daughter of the late Frank and Rose Mary (Bauer) Herrmann. On October 5, 1954, she married Myron "Jim" Van De Walle in Appleton and for many years the couple operated a dairy farm near Seymour. Dorothy enjoyed trips to the casino, and playing cards and bingo. She and Jim also enjoyed wintering in Texas for many years.
    Survivors include her husband: Myron "Jim" Van De Walle of Seymour; seven children: Sandy (Bob) Meulemans of Wrightstown; Dennis (Nancy) Van De Walle of Seymour; Barbara (David) Techlin of Neenah; Pat (Bob) Arndt of Appleton; Judy (Bob) Boyea of Seymour; Lori Moder of Oconto and her fiancé Jon Van Rens; and Jeff (Julie) Van De Walle of Marinette.
    There are nineteen grandchildren: Nichole (Brad) Bruegge, Abby Meulemans, Matthew Meulemans and his fiancée Brittany, John Van De Walle, Jody Van De Walle and her significant other Tyler Van Handel, Jake Van De Walle, Angela Campbell, Lyle Zitske, Jr., Alicia Arndt and her significant other Kevin Dorn, Travis Arndt, Melissa (Nick) Anderson, Mike Peterman and his significant other Haily Mueller, Ashley Boyea, Trista Cleven and her fiancé Shawn Zoeller, Nathan Cleven, Elizabeth Moder, Amber Moder, Hailey Van Rens, Mya Van De Walle, and Morgan Manfield; and ten great-grandchildren.
    Dorothy is also survived by a sister: Helen Mankins of Appleton and a sister-in-law: Lois Herrmann of Appleton. Jim's siblings are Earl (Margaret) Van De Walle, Larry (Marie) Van De Walle, and Donna Treml. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, a son-in-law Don Moder, a brother Bob Herrmann, a brother-in-law Don, and sisters-in-law Lorraine and Delores.
    The funeral liturgy for Dorothy will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CATHOLIC CHURCH, 915 Ivory Street in Seymour, with Fr. Robert Kabat officiating.     Jaye R. Herrmann, formerly of Combined Locks, passed away at his home in Milwaukee on March 25, 2011. He was born in Appleton on April 16, 1954, to Robert and Lois (Luebke) Herrmann. Jaye graduated from Appleton East High School in 1972. Jaye, along with his dad, became members of the YMCA Indian Guides, Fox Tribe and called themselves, Big and Little Wind, in 1961. Jaye joined the Toros/Americano Drum and Bugle Corps in 1964 and was a member for 8 years. In 1971, he was chosen the Americanos Corps Man of the Year. He married Elizabeth Blum on May 10, 1975. They have a daughter, Melissa, who survives him.
    He had been an active member of St. John United Church of Christ where he sang in the choir as a boy and adult, participated in the Youth Fellowship and became their youth advisor from 1980-85 and served on the church council before moving from the area. He began his employment with Design Air 34 years ago in Combined Locks where he held a variety of positions. In 1997, he became the Operation Manager in Iron Mountain, Michigan. In 2001, he went to Milwaukee and became, and presently was, the Southern Operation Manager at Design Air, Div. U.S. Venture. He served as Trustee on Board for Village of Combined Locks for a number of years before moving to Michigan.
    Jaye loved to do wood carving and made many gifts for family and friends. His favorite place to go to relax was at Bark River Camp Grounds in Sullivan, WI, where he spent time with friends and family at his trailer cooking up a storm while making everyone laugh. He enjoyed his time spent with his grandsons, Spencer and Jacob whom he fondly called; "Buddy One" and "Buddy Two."
    Jaye is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Cory) Whitcomb and grandchildren Spencer and Jacob Whitcomb, Kaukauna. His mother, Lois Herrmann, Appleton. Brothers, Scott (Carrie) Herrmann, Appleton and Todd Herrmann, New London, Grandmother, Verona Luebke, and his former wife, Liz Herrmann, Little Chute, and many other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Herrmann, on August 1, 2010, and grandparents, Erich Luebke and Frank and Rose Herrmann.
    Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, at St. John United Church of Christ, 1130 W. Marquette Street, Appleton. The funeral will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Thomas Fritz officiating. Inurnment will take place at Twelve Corners Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

    Alicia R. Dorn, age 32 of Depere, WI has graciously accepted peace with herself and her accomplishments she has made as she entered heaven on August 2nd, 2017.
    Alicia liked spending time at the cottage, on the water and on the boat. She loved to travel, and lived in New York for 2 years just for a new adventure. She was very proud of her research studies that she participated in at M.D. Anderson in hopes of saving the lives of others. Alicia always greeted people with a smile and hugs, always re-assuring others that everything was going to be ok. And it will be ok, just a different ok.
    She is survived by her husband Kevin, daughter Harper, her parents Robert and Patricia Arndt, brother Travis Arndt and Tom (Tia) VanCuyk, who was like a brother to Alicia.
    She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Raymond and Angeline Arndt, maternal grandparents Jim and Dorothy VandeWalle, aunts Judy Hass and Diana Brighum.
    Funeral services will be held on August 6, 2017 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME 2211 N. Richmond St. Appleton. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:30 p.m with Pastor Sheldon Miles officiating.
    In lieu of flowers, monetary gifts to go towards her daughter Harper's education trust fund.
