    Formerly of 817 Spring Street Kaukauna, Mildred M. Engerson, age 104, died at St. Paul Home on Sunday, May 1, 2011. She was born in Dale, Wisconsin on April 4, 1907. Mildred attended school and graduated from eighth grade in Dale, from Kaukauna High School, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh. She taught in elementary schools in both Calumet and Outagamie Counties for 25 years. Mildred was a member of the National Retired Teachers and Wisconsin State Teacher's organizations and helped to organize the first Nicolet Elementary school's Parent and Teachers Association in Kaukauna, where she served two years as their first president. She also helped to organize Harrison Consolidated School in Sherwood, serving as their principal for four years. Her last eight years were spent teaching first grade at Kimberly Elementary School.
    Mildred was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, Kaukauna, for over sixty years and served for a time as superintendent of their Sunday School. She was also a member of their Senior Choir. Her winters were spent in Florida and her summers at Boot Lake in Townsend, Wisconsin.
    Mildred is survived by one daughter: Sharon F. Radke of Appleton; six grandchildren: Brent W. Radke of Neenah; Paul J. (Elizabeth) Radke of Cincinnati; and John L. Engerson, William E. (Deb) Engerson, Cindy L. (John) Thomson, and Kristin A. (David) Wilz, all of Sturgeon Bay; ten great-grandchildren: Heather Radke, Sarah Radke, Eric Radke, Hannah Wilz, Rob Engerson, Tom Engerson, John Engerson, Haley Engerson, Crystal Engerson and Eric Engerson; and two great-grandchildren.
    Mildred was preceded in death by her husband: Harold (former Kaukauna Chief of Police) on May 17, 1977; a son: Harold J. Engerson on October 7, 1992; a son-in-law: William P. Radke on June 14 1998; her parents: Levi and Agnes Getlinger; two sisters: Violet Huebner of Stratford and Hattie Eckstein of Larson; two brothers: Lester Getlinger of New London and Donald Getlinger of Appleton.
    The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at IMMANUEL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 510 Sullivan Avenue, Kaukauna, with the Rev. Melinda Feller officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. A memorial fund has been established for Immanuel United Church of Christ and for St. Paul Elder Services.
    A very special thanks to Sister Dorothy, Molly, the nurses, aides and many employees at St. Paul Home, and to Jim Fett, who were all so loving, attentive and kind to Mildred. Also Millie Kolb (the cookie and postcard lady); friends: Carol Hillman and Germaine Timm, and her grandchildren: Brent, Kris and Hannah, who were constant visitors.

    LaVerne Herman Getlinger, age 81, Hortonville was born into eternal life Thursday, September 16, 2010. He was born at home in Dale, on April 5, 1929, to Lester and Dora (Tesch) Getlinger. He married Carol Mae Grosskopf on October 20, 1951. LaVerne was first and foremost a child of God, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a farmer most of his life but was also a cheese maker, school bus driver, worked for Cuff's Market and three generations at the Schneider Feed Mill. He was a faithful member of Bethlehem Ev. Lutheran Church. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
    LaVerne is survived by his wife, Carol, three sons, Stanley (Martha) Getlinger, New Port Richey, FL; Daniel Getlinger, New London; Gerald (Sally) Getlinger, Waupaca; and three daughters, Kathryn (Allan) Hill, Appleton; Jenny (James) Kuske, Crooked Lake, WI and Sarah (Jeffrey) Kamin, Hortonville. He was also blessed with thirteen grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. LaVerne is further survived by a brother, LaLester (Lori) Getlinger, Neenah; four sisters, LaSella Wildt, Pewaukee, LaRaine Paul, Hartford, LaVada Lehman, New London and LaDella (Oscar) Posselt, New London.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, LaNora Getlinger, three brother in-laws, Willard Wildt, Donald Paul and Mark Lehman and a sister in-law and brother in-law, Shirley and Arlin Elandt.
    The family has asked that memorials be made to Bethlehem Ev. Lutheran Church or School, Fox Valley Lutheran High School, Wisconsin Lutheran College, or Time of Grace Ministries.Funeral Services for LaVerne will be held on Monday, September 20, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Ev. Lutheran Church (126 N Pine St), Hortonville with Rev. Ralph Rosenberg officiating. Family and friends will be received at the church Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

    LaLester R. Getlinger, age 71 of Neenah, passed away peacefully into the Lord's hands on Friday, May 26, 2017 after a short battle with cancer. He was born on August 5, 1945 to the late Lester and Dora (Tesch) Getlinger.
    Les grew up working on the family farm, enjoyed setting pins at the bowling alley, and going to dances. He then started his career at Neenah Foundry which spanned over 40 years. He enjoyed wood working, auto racing, spending time with his family, and sharing his strong Christian faith. Les was married to his first wife, Mary Jane (Brighum) for 32 years before her passing in 1997. He later married Lorraine (Hiebel) in 1998 and spent almost 17 years together before her passing in June of 2016.
    Les is survived by four sons: Steve (Jill) Getlinger of Neenah, Brian (Linda) Getlinger of Neenah, Mike (Kim) Getlinger of Billings, MT, Chad Getlinger of Neenah; and grandchildren: Megan, Bradley, Joey, Brianne, Max, Amelia, and Charlie Getlinger. He is further survived by his step-son Dave (Mel) Benson, step-daughter Bernie (Wayne) Benson McEvers, step-grandchildren: Gabriel, Madalyn, Dakota, Skyla; and four sisters: LaSella Wildt of Pewaukee, LaRaine Paul of Hartford, LaVada Lehman of New London, and LaDella (Oscar) Posselt of New London. Les was preceded in death by his brother LaVerne and sister LaNora.
    The Funeral Service for Les will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 407 Oak Street, Neenah with Rev. Tony L. McKenzie officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service. Les will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.

    Everett Frederick Huebner, 90, entered eternal life on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at St. Clares Hospital, Weston. Everett was born on July 21, 1923 in New London, Wisconsin, the son of Frederick and Violet (Getlinger) Huebner and was a 1941 graduate of Stratford High School. He married Lores Johnson on June 16, 1945 at Zion Lutheran Church, Stratford. Everett was a cheesemaker and owned and operated Huebners Pride Dairy in Stratford for more than 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Lores, of Weston, and their children, Renie (Ace) Hamilton of Cincinnati, Ohio, Cherie Haupt of Auburndale, Lynn (Gene) Schulz of Wausau, Julie (Phil) Luepke of Jacksonville, Florida, and Judy (Bruce) Schade of Mosinee.
