    Vermelia "Babe" Vera Buchman (Doxtater), 88, born July 3, 1923, she lived a complete life before her passing on December 24, 2011, with her family by her side, daughter of the late Reuben and Wilhelmina (Skenandore) Doxtater. Babe was raised primarily by her father, Reuben, and older sisters. They traveled about performing a vaudeville act. She slept while the family all played musical instruments with father, Reuben, jigging while jumping rope. She attended Sturgeon Bay Sebastian High School and was the baton leader of the marching band. During World War II, Babe was one of the original "Rosie the Riveters." She was a welder working along with her sister Velma in the Milwaukee area until the end of the war. She enjoyed square dancing with her husband Earl. She was a talented seamstress and made fashioned clothes for her entire family, her granddaughter Angie still holds her First Communion dress made by grandma. Her professional career included working at Tuttle Press out of Appleton for many years and later as a seamstress for the Oneida Wardrobe Dept. where she later retired. She enjoyed bowling with co-workers, friends and family. She liked to deer hunt and would often see her children and grandchildren harvest many deer on her home property in Black Creek. One of her most enjoyable past times was making porcelain dolls and ceramic pieces, firing them in her own kiln, painting them and making the doll clothes. Babe's dolls were the center of attention at numerous craft shows that she attended with her daughter Nancy. She stayed active in life, even in her later years. She was always ready and willing to take anyone in and her caring and warm approach in dealing with any situation could ease anyone's worries. She was a tremendous mother, grandmother, and friend beyond anyone's measurement. She was like a rock for her children and grandchildren and those that knew her. Babe held a personal and separate attachment to each of her children. While she is in a better place now, she will always have the unbreakable bond of love from her family and friends.
    She raised and is survived by nine children, Sharon Quimby (Kelly), Ron Kelly (Ricky), Nancy VanDen Heuvel (Kelly), Steve (Nancy) Kelly, Patricia Anderson (Buchman), Earl Buchman Jr. (Cindy), Mark Buchman, Christine (Jamie) Zellmer (Buchman), Christopher Buchman (Linda); she was a step-mother to Bobbie, Becky, Jim and Jane Buchman, Shirley Jannusch; half-sister, Cynthia (Ervin) Thompson; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; parents, Reuben Doxtater and Wilhelmina Skenandore; sisters, Velma, Valeria, Vernelda, Arlene Cornelius; brother, Vernon; son-in-law, Gary VanDen Heuvel; many uncles, aunts and cousins.
    Friends may call at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Oneida on Thursday, December 29, 2011, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Fr. John Chrysostom Katamba and Deacon Bobby Doxtator officiating. The Oneida Singers will perform at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park.     A thank you from the family to the Unity nurses who assisted her. A very special and more than appreciation can say, "Thank you," to son Mark who has assisted Babe over the years, especially the past few months that have been the most trying for her. Through thick and thin Mark was there. A heart felt thank you goes to Anna Johns Nursing home staff who watched over and cared for her, assisting her in her final time of need.

    Verna M. Diedrick, Nee VandenBloomer, Kaukauna, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Colony Oaks Care Center. She was born December 22, 1916, daughter of the late Albert and Josephine (Skenandore) VandenBloomer in Freedom, WI. On November 15, 1938, married Clarence Diedrick. The couple enjoyed 48 years together prior to his death in 1986. In her younger days Verna enjoyed fishing trips with her husband and spending time at their cottage. She was a good cook and loved baking. Verna always had cookies for the grandchildren and home remedies and cures for any illness. She loved to garden, home canning all she grew. She was a longtime member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
    Verna is survived by a son and three daughters: Bill (Mary) Diedrick, Florence Balck, Patricia (David) Brinkman, and Janice (Allen) Champeau, all of Kaukauna; 13 grandchildren, Mary Balck, Gail (Dennis) Judkins, Karen (Joseph) Millard, Richard (Tracy) Balck, Amy (Steve) Hinz, Chris (Debbie) Balck, Kyle Brinkman, Justin Brinkman, Benjamin Champeau, Kelly Champeau, Shannon Diedrick, Alicia Diedrick, and John Diedrick, nine great-grandchildren: Daniel, Domenic, and Alex Judkins, Jeremy and Jon Millard, Cody and Ryan Balck, William Hinz, and Hunter Champeau; four brothers and three sisters-in-law: Harvey (Corrine), Appleton; Kirby (Margaret), Kaukauna; Ray (Bonita) Wrightstown; Bernard (Jackie), Kaukauna; Mary VandenBloomer, Kaukauna; a sister, Carol (Bob) Chosa, Kaukauna; many nieces and nephews.

    Verna's Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 Noon on Tuesday March 25, 2008 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Martin Fox officiating. Friends will be received on Tuesday at Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.     Harvey A. VandenBloomer, 92, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011, at his home in Appleton,with his family by his side. He was born on Oct. 16, 1918, in Kaukauna, Wis., son of the late Albert and Josephine (Skenadore) VandenBloomer. On Aug. 22, 1946, he married Dolores Klika. Dolores preceded him in death on March 3, 1983. On Oct. 24, 2006, he married Kareen (Barr) Hiller.
    Harvey honorably served his country with the U.S. Air Force during World War II from 1942-1946 and was involved with the Battle of the Bulge. He worked at Kimberly-Clark in their marketing center and retired from there at age 57. Harvey loved to play Bingo and Farkle with his family.
    He is survived by his wife, Kareen Hiller, Appleton; children, Cherie (Floyd) Eisenman, Daryl (Julie) VandenBloomer, Darlean (Tom) Kehl, Deb Kuse, Ken (Deb) VandenBloomer, Deanne (Bill) Schultz, Dennis (Angie) Grant, Troy (Tammy) Hiller and Tammy (Donny) Hiller; 22 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ray (Bonnie) and Bernard VandenBloomer; and sister, Carol Jean (Bob) Chosa.
    He was preceded in death by brothers, Elmer, Leo, Kirby, Ed and Herman; and sisters, Verna, Josie and Lucille.
    A funeral service for Harvey will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Valley Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald Falk officiating. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Full military honors will follow the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Entombment will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in his name.
    Harvey's family would like to say a special thank you to Drs. Robert Ballard and Michael Johnson, nurses and staff of ThedaCare at Home Hospice and to the many friends who have helped, especially Jack Secard. Thank you to all of you for your outpouring of compassion.

    Fox, Josephine V. Parkside C are CenterAge 81, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2003 after a brief illness. Jo sephine was born in Oneida on January 4, 1921, daughter of the late Albe rt and Josephine (Skenadore) Vanden Bloomer. On June 1, 1937 she married H enry Fox in Oneida; he preceded her in death. For many years she work ed as a housekeeper at several private homes, as well as at St. Elizabe th Hospital and Parkside Care Center. In her younger years, she enjoyed hu nting and fishing, and also looked forward to frequent trips to the casin o. Many will remember her love for playing cards; she was always ready f or a game of sheepshead or cribbage.Josephine is survived by two daughters: Dorothy (Frank) Jordan and Shirl ey Seefeldt, both of Kaukauna; four sons: Jim (Mary) Fox of Kaukauna; Jer ry Fox of Suring and his friend Helen; Norbert (JoAnn) Fox of Freedom; Pet er Fox of Kaukauna and his friend Sharon; twenty-four grandchildren; thirt y-one great-grandchildren; two sisters: Verna Diedrick and Carol (Bob) Cho sa, both of Kaukauna; five brothers: Harvey Vanden Bloomer of Appleton a nd his friend Kareen; Raymond (Bonita) Vanden Bloomer of Wrightstown; a nd Barney (Jackie) Vanden Bloomer, Ed (Mary) Vanden Bloomer, and Kirby (Ma rgaret) Vanden Bloomer all of Kaukauna. She is further survived my numero us nieces and nephews.     Passed away peacefully at home on October 27, 2017 with his family by his side at the age of 80. Barney was born on July 16, 1937 in Kaukauna to the late Albert and Josephine (nee Skenadore) Vanden Bloomer. Barney enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going for rides up north. He was known for playing the humstrum and playing the spoons while he was jigging on the dance floor.
    Barney is survived by his special friend Patti Rosalez. Loving father of Diane (Richard) Kirvan, David (Pat), Dawn (Roger) Konitzer, Darla (Dan) White, Donna (Tom) Bartelt, Dale (special friend Jenny Nielson), Debbie (Dan) Van Dinter, Randy, and Rick (Jessica).     Barney is preceded in death by his infant son Steven, son Daniel Joe, and his wife Jackie, brothers, sisters, other dear family members and friends too numerous to list but never forgotten.
    Visitation will be held at Fargo Funeral Home, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave Kaukauna, on Saturday November 4, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon. Funeral services at 12 Noon. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his daughter Dawn for taking such good care of him and to the Thedacare at Home Hospice team as well.     Frank E. Skenandore, 76, of Oneida, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 22, 2017, at St. Mary's hospital. He was born March 18, 1941, son of the late Edward and Electa (Skenandore) Skenandore. On August 25, 1962, he was united in marriage to Yvonne Danforth. She preceded him in death November 8, 2002.
    Frank was a member of the Oneida Methodist Church, the Men's Club, Dart Ball, and he was known for his favorite corn soup and booyah. He enjoyed playing Bingo and was an avid Packer fan.
    Frank was employed by Appleton Machine, as a welder fitter for many years, until his retirement.
    He is survived by his four daughters: Carolyn (Rendell) Miller, Green Bay; Samantha (Emmett) Skenandore, Green Bay; Francine (Donald) Weaver, Las Vegas; and Tina (Daniel Sr.) Jourdan, Oneida; one daughter-in-law, Patricia Denny, De Pere; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harvey (Pat) Skenandore and Edward (Beverly) Skenandore; two sisters, Lorraine Skenandore and Elizabeth Nicholas; a special nephew Kenneth Skenandore; many nieces and nephews.
    He is preceded in death by a son, Jeffery.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 4-8 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, October 27, 2017, at Oneida Methodist Church from 9:30 am until services at 11:00 am with Pastor Dongsu Lee officiating.     Jim Fox, age 76, of Kaukauna, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Grand Horizons in Appleton. He was born on May 1, 1937, in Kaukauna, the son of the late Henry and Josephine (Vanden Bloomer) Fox. On February 16, 1963, Jim married Mary Voissem at St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha. He was employed at Thilmany for 37 years and retired from Precision Paper Converting in 2001. Jim looked forward to family time at the cottage on Chute Pond and trips to the casino to push buttons. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing cards, feeding the birds and going out to eat.
    Jim is survived by his wife, Mary Fox; sons: Chuck (Karen) Fox and Mike (Rose) Fox; grandchildren: Jason (Shelli) Fox and Stephanie (Ed) Rader; Jon and Sam Fox; great grandchildren: Landon, Bentley, Eddie and Aria; brothers: Norbert (Jo Ann) Fox and Peter Fox; sisters: Dorothy (Frank) Jordan and Shirley Seefeldt; sister-in-law, Pam (Joe) Jansen; and brother-in-law, Harold (Rie Ann) Jansen. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his first wife Nancy Fox, brother Gerald (Pat) Fox, sister Marlene Holschuh, special friend Marcey Vanden Berg, and sisters-in-law: Becky Jansen and Suzanne Kasten.
    The memorial service for Jim will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Fargo Funeral Home in Kaukauna. Deacon Bruce Corey will be officiating.     Norbert P. "Nubby" Fox, of Mountain, formerly of Freedom, age 74, died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 7, 2016. He was born in Kaukauna on August 29, 1941 to the late Henry and Josephine (Vanden Bloomer) Fox. Norbert married Joan Bergman on May 4, 1963 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute. Nubby spent most of his career at Badger Northland. He then worked at Prime Industrial Tanks until his retirement in 2006. Nubby loved to spend time on their land in Mountain and ultimately built their retirement home there. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, feeding the birds and playing cards. Nubby treasured his grandchildren.
    Norbert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joan; children: Craig of Mountain; Scott "Scooter" (Penny) of Lakewood; and Chris (Jeff) Hooyman of Kaukauna; grandchildren: Alisa and Alex Fox, Carter and MiliJo Hooyman, and granddog Peanut; siblings: Dort (Frank) Jordan, Shirley Seefeldt and Pete Fox; and sisters-in-law: Mary Fox, Nancy (Butch) Miller, Mary (Dave) Arnoldussen and Sandy Walker.     William R. VandenBloomer, age 61 of Mountain, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 after a lengthy illness. He was born July 10, 1956 to the late Elmer and Donna (Smith) VandenBloomer and was raised in Oneida. Bill married Brenda Neshek on March 31, 1978 in Black Creek. For many years, Bill was self-employed. Bill greatly enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.
    William is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughters, Billie Jo, Lisa (Clyde), and Laura; 8 grandchildren, Kristia, Elijah, Logan, Lance, Nolan, Breanna, Bella, and Delilah; 1 great-grandchild, Kaden; 3 brothers, Butch, Jeff (Tina), and Mike; 7 sisters, Bonnie, Colleen, Tina (Jim), Vickie, Lynn, LuAnn, and Becky (Bill); 2 brothers-in-law, Steve Neshek and Bruce (Bonnie) Neshek. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Viola and Harold; a sister, Kim; a brother-in-law, Duane Krueger.
    Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 12 pm with Pastor Bill Krauss officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mountain Cemetery. Online condolences can be expressed at www.gruetzmacherfuneralhome.com.
    A special thank you to the staff's of Unity Hospice and St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay for the care and compassion offered to Bill and his family in their time of need.

    Chaz "DJ" Lee Brown, age 23, of Freedom/Oneida, was received into the arms of his Savior after an automobile accident on Thanksgiving Day. He was very much loved by his family and friends. DJ loved outdoor activities from motocross to fishing. His life changed for the better the day his twin boys were born, spending each day working to make their lives better. When he wasn't with them he was busy planning their next big adventure. As a young man, he gave his life to the lord, but recently recommitted to serving him in earnest. He was employed at Exterior Custom Solutions and his charismatic personality made him a perfect fit for the job.
    Chaz is survived by his children: Caden and Carsen; their mother (Courtney); his dad, David Brown (Karen); his mom Brenda Brown; his grandparents Lynn Brown and Ray (Bonnie) Van Den Bloomer. He will be remembered forever by his siblings: Ashlee (Ben), Bailee and Zander "We love you so much". DJ will also be greatly missed by his cousins Quiana, Shayna, Jiselle, Danika, Nicole, Brooke, Angela, Alicia, Manny, Dereck, Tanner, Tierra, Bobbie, Mariah, Trenton, Shayna, and Dominik. He is further survived by his loving aunts and uncles, including his godparents Gale and Cliff. Chaz also had a girlfriend, that he loved, Angelina Cousineau and her son Carson, that he adored as his own.
    Chaz was preceded in death by grandmother, Betty Van Den Bloomer and grandfathers, Henry Brown and Darrel Gerondale, along with cousin, Ryan Bevers.
    A Celebration of life for DJ will be 4:00 PM on Wednesday December 2, 2015, at The Mission Church, 314 N. Appleton St, with Pastor John Kieffer officiating. Visitation will be at Church on Wednesday beginning at 12:00 until 3:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, a trust has been set up for his twins.
    Chaz's brother, Bailee, summed it up well when he said, "Chaz lived life so fast that he lived a whole lifetime in 23 years. He was an angel among us.

    Obituary:
    Maggie Marie Vanden Bloomer, beautiful infant daughter of Tony and Chelsie (Wisneski) Vanden Bloomer passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving parents on October 26, 2014. She was born at 2:40 am and met the eyes of Jesus at 11:00 pm the same day. She weighed a very healthy 9 pounds 3 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long.
    During her short time here on earth she touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and so many friends. Her life was a brief gift to us that will live on as her heart valves were able to be donated to those in need.
    Maggie is survived by her parents, Tony and Chelsie Vanden Bloomer; paternal grandparents: Mark Vande Voort and Sandra Bartelt; maternal grandparents: Randy and Sandy Wisneski; great grandparents: John Wisneski and Eugene & Rose Verhagen; aunts and uncles: Mark Wisneski, Brian (Paige) Vanden Bloomer, Jason (Dana) Bartelt and Johnny Bartelt; and a special family dog, Charlie.
    Maggie was preceded in death by her great grandparents: Alrita Wisneski, Kirby & Margaret Vanden Bloomer and George & Helen Vande Voort.
    Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 1, 2014, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine St., Little Chute, with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating. Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
    The Vanden Bloomer family would like to express a special thank you to the staffs at St. Elizabeth Hospital's Birth Place and the NICU for their wonderful care and compassion.
