Kaukauna - On January 26th our Mom was blessed to spend her 91st birthday with her family here, and then continuing her celebration with her loved ones in heaven.
Blanche A. Kerrigan, Kaukauna, was born in Little Chute on January 26, 1927, and passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on January 26, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Joe and Rose (Lamers) Sanderfoot. In 1947 Blanche married Gordon Kerrigan. They enjoyed 57 wonderful years together before Gordon preceded her in death in 2005. Together they raised 10 children and worked together on the family farm.
Blanche was a woman of incredible strength and resilience. She showed unconditional love for all those she knew and especially treasured the time spent with her family. She enjoyed shopping, crafting, decorating, traveling, making memories at the family cottage, and any opportunity for a celebration.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute, from 4:00 p.m. until the vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at St. Clare Parish, Wrightstown site, 423 Main Street, Wrightstown, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Rose M. Kuhn, 87, of Little Chute, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 12, 2013. She was born on June 6, 1925, daughter of the late Harry and Hattie (Sanderfoot) Vander Wyst. Rose was united in marriage to Henry Kuhn, and he preceded her in death. Rosie was a crossing guard for 37 years, taking charge of the busiest corner in Little Chute, Main and Madison, affectionately called "Rosie's Corner." Her dedication to her job was truly unmatchable. Rosie was a Girl Scout leader for Troop 115 for several years. She always had a soft spot in her heart for the veterans at King, and started the homeless donations to the veterans. Rosie was President of the 9th District 1974-1976; President of Unit #258 Auxiliary 1977-1979; Outagamie County President 1985-1987; and was again President of Unit # 258 1985-2003. She was a life member of the Auxiliary Unit. Rosie had many titles: Madam President, 24 years; Chief Crossing Guard, 37 years; a tireless worker, all her life.
Rosie is lovingly survived by her children: Margie (Jim) Cotter, Marilyn (Roy) Kuhtz, Kathy (John) Janssen, Dorie Kuhn, Patty (Dennis) Sonkowsky, Debbie (Nick) Kiesow and Steve Kuhn; son-in-law, Dave Kohl; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren with one more on the way; sister and brother: Virg (Ivan) Stiltjes and Gordy (Emily) Vander Wyst; sister-in-law, Romilda Kuhn; and many other nieces, nephews, godchildren and other family members and friends.
Rosie was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; a daughter, Mary; her parents; sisters Ruth (Paul) Waldron and Jean (Ted) Feldkamp.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine St., Little Chute, with Msgr. Jim Vanden Hogen officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Visitation will take place on Friday at the church from 12:00 noon until the time of the Mass. A memorial has been established.

Gordon "Gordy" Vander Wyst, of Appleton, passed away Thursday morning, October 17, 2013, following a brief stay at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
He was born on April 15, 1928, in Little Chute and was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Hattie (Sanderfoot) Vander Wyst. He married Emily Lamers on September 1, 1951, in Wrightstown. They recently celebrated their 62nd anniversary. Gordy was a U.S. Marine veteran and served from 1946 to 1948 performing guard duty in China. He then worked at Fox Tractor Company for 38 years as a machinist. Gordy served as the first union president for Local 1335 UAW-Fox Tractor from 1965 until 1971. He then worked for Lawrence University as a custodian and retired in 1991.
Gordy and Emily were charter members of St. Thomas More Catholic Church where they were both very active and faithful parishioners. Gordy served as an usher, bingo worker, and was always eager to help where needed. He was an avid Packer fan, enjoyed bowling and woodworking, and loved attending his children's and grandchildren's sporting events and other activities.
Survivors include his loving wife, Emily; their children: Lyle (Donna) Vander Wyst, Lucina (Dalton) Korth, Loraine (Craig) Lubinski, Leo (Wanda) Vander Wyst, Lavern (Michael) Speel, Louis (Carol) Vander Wyst, Leonard (Alice) Vander Wyst, Linus (Kelly) Vander Wyst, and Luke (Amy) Vander Wyst; there are 27 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; his sister, Virginia (Ivan) Stiltjes; sisters and brothers-in-law: Mary Nackers, Rose (Francis) Schmidt, Frances (Bob) Haen, Ellen Lamers, Helen Lamers, and Marilyn Lamers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by sisters Ruth (Paul) Waldron, Rose (Hank) Kuhn, and Jean (Ted) Feldkamp; and in-laws: Gordon (Mary) Lamers, Lyle (Helen) Lamers, Ruby (Robert) Turriff Van Handel, Jane (Sylvester) Vosters, Paul Lamers, Gene (Delia) Lamers, and Marcel Lamers.
The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 21, 2013, 11:00 a.m., at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1810 N. McDonald St., Appleton, with Father Gerald Falk officiating. Military honors will take place at the church after mass. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Monday until the hour of mass at the church. Entombment will be in the Star of Hope Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Gordy's honor is being established.

Jean Delia Feldkamp, 81, Little Chute, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 20, 2013, at Appleton Medical Center after a brief illness surrounded by her family. She was born November 14, 1931, at home in Little Chute. Jean attended St. John's School and was employed at Thilmany's in the bag mill before her marriage to Theodore Feldkamp on May 10, 1951, and he preceded her in death. After her marriage to Ted, she worked on the family farm and kept busy raising nine children. She also ran the Pickle Station for many years. Jean had a large garden and did a lot of canning. She loved her flower gardens, playing cards, puzzles and dancing. Throughout her life she had many jobs including: Kaukauna Club, White Clover Dairy, Country Kitchen, Burger King and her last job was at Pick N Save before her retirement. She later moved back to the house where she was born and raised in Little Chute. She was active in many clubs including: The Mission Club, Little Chute Auxiliary, Golden Agers, the Heart of the Valley Club, the Golden Club and the Card Club.
Jean is survived by four sons and four daughters: Susan (Richard) Nackers, Kaukauna; Tom (Mary) Feldkamp, Sparta; Joan (Jim) Baumgart, Seymour; Nancy (Dean) Bowers, Kaukauna; Ruth (Jeff) Schumacher, Kaukauna; Allen (Judy) Feldkamp, Gilman; Rich Feldkamp, Appleton; Roger (Corinna) Feldkamp, Freedom ; 23 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters: Rose Kuhn and Virg (Ivan) Stiltjes; a brother, Gordy (Emily) Vander Wyst; sisters- and brothers-in-law: Mary Feldkamp, Ethel (Gerald) Ebben, Kate (Jim) Bongers, Helen (Norb) Evers, Theresa (Jim) Ison, Russ (Joan) Aerts; and many nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Wednesday at the church from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the Mass. A memorial has been established.

Aloysius "Al" Jacob Sanderfoot - a self-made entrepreneur with only a sixth grade education - died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015, three days after his 84th birthday.
Born in Francis Creek, Wis., on Aug. 15, 1931, to Esther (Van Lanen; 1908-1990) and Lambert Sanderfoot (1908-1976), Al's life spanned from the Great Depression through the Great Recession. His toddler years coincided with the worse economic period in U.S. history, with unemployment rising to 25 percent in 1933, the same year Hitler was named Chancellor of Germany.
Although Al enjoyed financial success - especially during the 1970s and 1980s - due to his business acumen and desire for financial independence, his life ended as the country was still emerging from the 2008 recession, the worse economic crisis in eight decades.
Raised on a family farm, Al was 8 years old when the country began to recover from the Great Depression and military spending surged in preparation for America's involvement in World War II. By then, Al was well aware of how his parents struggled to provide for him and his siblings: LaVern (1930-1979), Lyle (b. 1937) and David (1944-2007). Knowing what it was like to live in poverty, he saved nearly all the money he made, never wanting to be in a position of abject poverty again.
Al's childhood years overlapped with those of the nation's economic recovery and shaped his attitudes and philosophies about business and finance. At age 11, after graduating sixth grade, Al was forced to quit school and go to work to help support the family. One of his first jobs was as a "pin boy," setting up pins in a bowling alley just as the sport was surging in popularity and before the first fully automatic pinsetter was introduced in 1946. His parents also hired him out as a laborer to local farmers.
When he was 16, Al joined the U.S. Army, where he was in the military police and served in Straubing, Germany from 1948-1952.
Because his parents relied on the money he was earning, Al felt that his value in life was commensurate with the paycheck he brought home. This is something he contended with his entire life and was a key factor in his drive to constantly be working and accumulating wealth. Although he might take a break here and there for a family function, he only enjoyed a couple of short vacations in his lifetime.
On Aug. 8, 1953, Al married Alice Jean Meloen (1933-2013), a high school graduate who was working as a secretary for a medical doctor. The couple met while on a double date, although Alice was on the date with Al's best friend, Gene Kilsodonik, at the time.
The young couple initially worked on a farm, where they started their large family, which would eventually include seven children: Thomas (b. 1954, married to Jean, Louisville, Ky.); John (1956-1972); Donald (b. 1959, married to Linda, Appleton, Wis.); Michael (b. 1960, married to Roseanne, New London, Wis.); Richard (1962-2000); Alan (b. 1964, married to Jennifer, Madison, Wis.); and Catherine (b. 1972, married to Kevin Yerges, Cambridge, Wis.).
After his discharge from the Army in 1952, Al initially worked in a scrap yard in Appleton. He was then employed by Iron Works, where he helped install the tank at the American Legion in Appleton and the decorative iron grating at the old Lutheran school in New London. Other employment included stints as a boilermaker for Bergstrom Paper Company in Neenah, a welder for Fox Tractor in Appleton, and a mechanic for Curwood in New London.
Over the years, he moved from Appleton to Dale to Medina to Hortonville to Greenville - always in an effort to improve the family's living conditions. He tried his hand at agriculture when he purchased an 80-acre farm in 1965 in Sugar Bush. In 1968, he gave up farming, and he and Alice opened a popular teen recreation center in downtown New London, complete with pool tables, pinball machines, shuffleboard, bottled sodas and weekend bands. By the early 1970s, the rec center was replaced by a trophy and awards shop, with the business supplying ribbons, plaques, medals and trophies to local sports leagues, clubs, organizations and nonprofits. It was common for Al and Alice to work into the wee hours of the morning engraving trophies for a little league tournament or swim meet.
As a young father and burgeoning small businessman, Al still found time to play softball and pitched for several seasons.
Always on the lookout for the next business opportunity, Al began dealing in close-out merchandise, which he sold in the trophy shop. This area of the business became so profitable that he sold the trophy and awards business and focused just on selling general merchandise. After outgrowing the downtown New London location, he moved his family to a former farmstead in rural New London and built a new retail store just off of busy Highway 54.
For roughly 10 years, he ran Sanderfoot Sales with the help of his devoted wife and children. But after his children grew up and moved away from home, the operation was too much for him and Alice to handle alone. So he sold the business and began a new chapter of his life as a tavern owner.
Al had always enjoyed going to the local taverns and playing poker and Sheepshead with the other barflies. So earning a living on the other side of the bar was an appealing option for him. Since opening his first bar in Royalton, Wis., in 1985, Al had owned nine different bars, but never more than one at the same time. Just a few weeks before his death, he was still tending bar at Al's Place, his latest establishment in Clintonville, where he hosted weekly poker games.
Somewhat skeptical of organized religion, Al nonetheless had deep faith in God and was a true Christian at heart. Although a crucifix hung in nearly every room of his house, he never wore his religion on his sleeve. Rather, he quietly carried a cross and this prayer card in his wallet at all times:
In addition to five children, Al is survived by 12 grandchildren - Natalie Taylor (husband Sean Taylor), Erica Sanderfoot, Matthew Sanderfoot, Theresa Stevens (husband Jonathan Stevens), Carl Sanderfoot (wife Nikki Sanderfoot), Josh Fradrich (wife Clarissa Fradrich), Jamie Sanderfoot (wife Kristi Sanderfoot), Katie Sanderfoot, Olivia Sanderfoot, Ivy Sanderfoot, Dale Yerges, and Jonathan Yerges - and seven great grandchildren - Thomas Sanderfoot-Maloney, Justin Taylor, Anna Stevens, Julia Stevens, Elizabeth Sanderfoot, Jacob Sanderfoot, and Orric Sanderfoot.
Al was preceded in death by his wife, two sons, sister and one brother, as well as grandson Timothy Sanderfoot (1974), who died at birth.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London, WI, with Fr. Arul Joseph Irudamoney officiating. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. before the service, also at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church.

David L. Sanderfoot, age 62, of Ogdensburg, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2007, at his residence. David was born on September 5, 1944, Appleton, son of the late Lambert and Esther (Van Lanen) Sanderfoot. On November 11, 1978 David was united in marriage to Karmella Phillips; she preceded him in death in 1992. He was a member of the Glen Cairn Golf Course. He loved golfing, working in the garden, making wood, going camping, doing crosswords, reading comic and spending time with his grandchildren.
David is survived by three daughters: Heather Sanderfoot, Brillion; Heidi Sanderfoot (fiance Matt Oblenes), Green Bay; Holly Sanderfoot (special friend Ryan Long), Clintonville; three sons: David Sanderfoot Jr., California; Steven (Samantha) Sanderfoot, Illinois; Jammie (Amie) Sanderfoot, Ogdensburg; two brothers: Al (Alice) Sanderfoot, New London and Lyle (Bonnie) Sanderfoot, Clintonville. Seven grandchildren, his beloved cat Midnight, other relatives and special friends also survive David.
Besides his parents and wife, David was preceded in death by a daughter Kristine, a sister LaVern and his father- and mother-in-law Glenn (Leona) Phillips.
Funeral services for David will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2007, at 11 a.m., at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London. David Sanderfoot Jr. will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Bear Creek. Friends may call at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 5-8 p.m. and on Thursday, from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Gordon R. Van Dinter, 86, rejoined his Lord on Saturday, June 16, 2012. He was born on August 9, 1925, son of Neary and Marie (Swinkles) Van Dinter. On January 20, 1966, Gordon married the love of his life, Grace Lesperance, at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Darboy and she preceded him in death April 26, 2012. They lived in Menasha and enjoyed spending the winter months in Arizona. Gordon had an orchestra in his earlier years and also had a small popcorn business, but he was best known for his career in the home building business, owning and operating Van's Realty and Construction of Appleton. He was an original member of the Valley Home Builders Association and made a huge contribution to the industry by building thousands of homes for first time home buyers, helping to make their dreams come true. Gordon enjoyed his cottage on Pelican Lake and fishing with his friends. He had a love for the stock market, but his true passion in his free time was working in his yard, keeping the lawn and flowers looking perfect.
Gordon is survived by his son, Jerry Haen; grandsons, Lance and Jason (Tricia) Haen; great-grandchildren: Kendall, Carson, Madison, Lauren, and Brielle; a brother, James (Nancy) Van Dinter; and many nieces and nephews and other special relatives and friends.
Gordon was also preceded in death by; a daughter-in-law, Gloria Haen; and a brother, Ivo (LaVerne) Van Dinter.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2012, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 410 Wallace Street, Combined Locks, with Fr. Andy Kelsey officiating and Fr. Bob Vandenberg concelebrating. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Combined Locks. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. Friday at the church until the time of the mass. Obituary:
Phyllis C. Doherty, 78, of De Pere, died peacefully in her sleep at home on Monday November 20, 2017. She was born March 4, 1939 in Appleton. On November 10, 1962, she married Leonard Doherty at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Appleton. He preceded her in death on March 16, 2006.
Phyllis was best known for ger baking skills. She started out at the Union Hotel waitressing and baking their desserts and went on the open the Pie Shoppe in Lakewood, WI. She and Lenny enjoyed their golden years living at their cottage and running their business. She will be remembered as a vital, fun woman who enjoyed life, had a heart of gold and loved her kids and grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, Mike Doherty and his special friend, Deanna, Kyle (Camren) Doherty, five grandchildren, Devan, Mikayla (Justin) Hoffman, Nathan, Ryan and Gavin Doherty, as well as one sister, Marilee Schultz, and many members of her extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lenny.

Richard "Dick" Nienhaus, 75, of Little Chute, passed away with his loving family at his side on Thursday, April 28, 2016. He was born on October 31, 1940, son of the late Frank and Frances (Schultz) Nienhaus.
Dick married Gloria Driessen on July 17, 1963. He served his country in the U.S. Army for three years. Dick was employed at Thilmany in Kaukauna for over 30 years until his retirement. He had what some would call "the gift of gab", he was able to talk to anyone. He enjoyed getting together with his friends for their morning breakfast club. Most importantly, he loved his family. He enjoyed following all of his grandchildren's events.
Dick will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Gloria; his daughters and sons-in-law: Jill and Tony Duffeck, Amy Vander Zanden, Mike Vander Zanden, Kari and Paul Olson and Mikayla Fansler; grandchildren: Owen and Olivia Duffeck, Emily and Ethan Vander Zanden, Sadie, Caleb, Jonah and Kate Olson; siblings: Jeri (Jerry) Kempen, Lyle (Lola) Nienhaus, Harold "Butch/Whitey" (Nancy) Nienhaus; brothers and sisters-in-law: Glady Minten and Jerry (Audrey) Driessen; grand dogs and cat: Sugar, Cooper, Kitty, Jack, Zoey, Finn and Griffin; the breakfast club members; special friends: John and Joan Doering and Tom Frank; neighbors and friends near and far.

Thomas J. Nienhaus, Appleton, age 70, died peacefully in his sleep on December 28, 2013 at his home. He was born May 17, 1943 in Little Chute, WI, son of the late Frank and Frances (Schultz) Nienhaus. Tom attended St. John Nepomucene Elementary School in Little Chute, WI and graduated from Sacred Heart Seminary in Oneida, WI in 1961. He worked for Appleton Mills for many years. After his retirement, Tom worked for the Kimberly School System and the Appleton Post Crescent. He officiated many softball games and enjoyed sports, particularly the Wisconsin Badgers.

Richard (Dick) Verkuilen, 77 of Kimberly passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015. Dick was born on July 14, 1938 in Little Chute, WI. , son of the late Theodore and Mary (Fleischmann) Verkuilen. On October 15, 1960, Dick married Linda Prusynski at Holy Name Catholic Church in Kimberly and spent 52 wonderful years together until her passing in August 2013. Dick attended St. Johns H.S. in Little Chute where he was a standout athlete in basketball, football and baseball. Dick spent most of his adult life working at the Appleton Papers Locks Mill in Combined Locks where he retired in 2000. At the mill he was very active in the union and held various positions including union President. Throughout his life Dick enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He purchased his property at Chute Pond in 1978 and spent most of his off time and retirement enjoying the woods and lakes he so loved.
Dick is survived by his son, Paul (Sandy) Verkuilen, Iron Ridge, WI; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Beth and Janice; sisters-in-law, Karin (Ken) Vander Velden and Rosie Verkuilen; and many nieces, nephews and other special family members and friends.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents Ted and Mary; brothers: Ted and Michael; sister Margaret; and mother and father-in-law, Ollie and Ethel Prusynski.

Michael A. "Mike" Kerrigan, age 50, of Frisco, CO (formerly of Wrightstown) passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 18, 2016. He was the son of Blanche and the late Gordon Kerrigan, born on June 13, 1966. Mike graduated from Wrightstown High School, and went on to obtain a business degree from Lake Superior State University, MI.
In 1990, Mike moved to Colorado to pursue his dream of becoming a ski instructor. He loved the mountains and everything the area had to offer, and continued to make his home there. He eventually started his own business, Windowscapes Shade & Blind Gallery. His business provided him opportunities to meet people from many different areas and develop lasting friendships. Mike made numerous close friends while living in Colorado, many of whom became his extended family.
Mike enjoyed skiing and traveling, especially his trips to Italy, Hawaii, Amsterdam, and San Francisco. He also shared a very special bond with his canine companion, Jasper.

Obituary:
Sanderfoot, Kris A.Kris Ann Sanderfoot, age 39, of Pickerel, WI, died as a result of a car accident on Tuesday, April 26, 2005, in the Town of Ainsworth, Langlade Coun ty. She was born August 6, 1965, in Appleton, WI, and graduated from Little Chute High School in 1983. Kris was married to Dave Delaruelle from 1988 to 2001. She worked for Fox Valley Tool and Die for many years prior to moving to the Northwoods. She was currently employed at Duffek Sand and Gravel, Inc., of Antigo, WI. Kris was a very hard worker and took pride in everything she did. In addition to working at Duffek's she also plowed snow, did soil testing and tended bar at Mueller's Pine Grove and other local establishments in the Pickerel area. Kris loved spending time with her family and friends and doing many outdoor activities including water skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting and going for walks.Kris is survived by her parents, Joe and Rachel (Just) Sanderfoot, Pickerel; a brother, Steve (Linda) Sanderfoot, Little Chute; three sisters: Lori (Keith) Verhagen, Little Chute; Cindy (Todd) Scholz, Kiel; and twin sister, Kay (Jay) Wells, Little Chute; nieces and nephews: Travis, Emily, Nikki, Joe, Rachel, Anne, Dan, Nick, Stephanie and special godson, Matt. She is further survived by godparents, Sally Dickenson and Dan Weyenberg, special friend, Dale Bauknecht and his children: Ashley, Nicole and Jason.Kris was preceded in death by her grandparents: Joe and Rose Sanderfoot and Ted and Laverne Just.Visitation will be held at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute, WI, on Friday, April 29, 2005, starting at 3:30 p.m. and followed by a Memorial Mass at 5 p.m. There will also be a visitation on Saturday, April 30, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Pickerel, WI, at 11 a.m. and followed by a Memorial Service at 12:30 p.m. Reverend Roger Strebel will officiate. Burial will be at the St. Mary Cemetery, Pickerel.In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Kris's name.Kris was a very loving and giving person. Even in death she has continued to give. The donation of her organs will give many others a better life. She will be forever loved and missed by all.

Vander Zanden, Leanna (Lulu) M.
Leanna (Lulu) M. Vander Zanden, 33, Seymour, passed away Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2009, at her home with her family by her side following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Aug. 5, 1976, daughter of Deanna (Gilbertson) Farley and the late Henry Vander Zanden.
Leanna was a 1994 graduate of Seymour High School. She was employed with Team Industries for several years and JMS Converters until the time of her illness two years ago. She enjoyed NASCAR races and going to the races at Slinger Raceway. She also collected Precious Moments figurines and enjoyed playing darts on several leagues.
She is survived by her children: Britney, Justin and Jonathon, all at home; her mother, Deanna Farley and step-father Paul Farley, Silver Cliff; brothers: John (special friend Stacy) Vander Zanden; Travis Vander Zanden; Daniel Vander Zanden; Nicholas (Kellie) Vander Zanden, all of Seymour; maternal grandmother Sylvia Gilbertson, Chilton; step-sister, Marie (Jeff) Marsh, Lakewood; step-brother, Abe (Kathy) Farley, Green Bay; numerous nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her father Henry, her grandmother Wilhelmina Vande Burgt and her grandfathers, John Vander Zanden and Orin Gilbertson.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, from 4 PM until 8 PM and Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at St. John's Catholic Church, Seymour from 9:30 AM until services at 11 AM with Father Bob Kabat officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.

Mary Kay Meulemans, 66, a lifelong resident of Freedom, passed away in the loving arms of her daughters and surrounded by many family members on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. She was born on April 21, 1949, daughter of the late Ray and LaVerne (Weyenberg) Romenesko. On June 6, 1969, Kay married Jim Meulemans at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom.
Kay was a devoted member of St. Nicholas all of her life. She volunteered for many different things throughout the years at church. Kay was a marvelous baker and cook, always supplying her family with fresh baked goods and treats. If Kay didn't wake you up in the morning with a phone call, she most likely kept you up late talking on the phone! She enjoyed talking to her family and friends on a daily basis. The light of her life was her precious grandchildren. They could always put a smile on her face and they made her extremely proud.
Kay is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jim Meulemans; her daughters: Lori (Craig) Hansen and Lisa (Mike) Sitter; her grandchildren: Cole, Caden and Ali Hansen and Rayna Kay Sitter; her siblings: Donna (Dick) Vande Wettering, Mike (Sue) Romenesko and Chris Romenesko; brothers and sisters-in-law: Carolyn Romenesko, Lois McMorrow, Janet Weyenberg, Barbara (Tom) Elliott, Joan Frederickson and Gary (Janice) Meulemans; a special aunt, Patty (Gary "Butch") Vande Wettering; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Pat Romenesko; a sister, JoAnn Romenesko; brothers and sisters-in-law: Patti Romenesko, Tom McMorrow, Jim Weyenberg and Roger Frederickson; father and mother-in-law, Ted and Ruth Meulemans; maternal grandparents, Cy and Stenie Weyenberg; and paternal grandparents, Walter and Mabel Romenesko.

Little Chute - Gary J. Van De Leygraaf, age 55, of Little Chute, passed away unexpectedly as the result of a snowmobile accident on Saturday, February 10, 2018. He was born on April 10, 1962, son of Carol (Hopfensperger) Howen and the late Bob Van De Leygraaf. On May 24, 1985, Gary married Lisa Sonderegger, and together they have shared a wonderful 33 years marriage. They were true soulmates. The love they had for one another was never ending, and they held hands each night before falling asleep.
Gary was a true family man, doing everything he could for his wife and children. He was a great dad. Many memories were made hunting with Tyler and fishing with Katelyn. He taught them many good values, including honesty, good work ethic and always have a little fun.
Gary was very proud of the work he did as a maintenance man for Fox Valley Technical College. He took a lot of pride in his work, his yard, and his family. Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, nature, spending time up north, EAA, his motorcycle, corvette and snowmobile. His unique sense of humor will be truly missed.

Nickole "Nikki" Van Dinter, age 44, of Kingsford, MI, formerly of the Fox Valley, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, March 12, 2017. She was born on December 26, 1972, daughter of Jim Van Dinter and Susan LaBorde.
Nikki enjoyed Zumba dancing and laughing as often as she could. She loved flowers and being in the outdoors and was a great mother to her sons.
Nikki is survived by her two sons: Cody Ver Voort and Briar Nichols; her father, Jim (Patti) Van Dinter; her mother, Susan LaBorde; a brother, Dan (Debbie) Van Dinter; nieces: Ashley and Brooke Van Dinter; significant other, Jeff; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
