    Obituary:
    Elaine Krueger, age 88, of Appleton, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at the Appleton Health Care Center after the steady decline of Alzheimer's. Elaine was born on November 19, 1923, in Appleton, the first born child of Henry and Alice (Stammer) Schwalbach. On May 24, 1947, she married Willard H. Krueger; he preceded her in death on May 1, 1985.
    Elaine is survived by her four children: Connie (Jerome) Krueger, Ronald (Patricia) Krueger, Christine (Roy) Hablewitz, and Richard Krueger: ten grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister: Joyce Jens; brother: Lyle Schwalbach; and sister in law: Vera Krueger. Elaine will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including her very special friend, Deb Glass.
    Honoring Elaine's wishes, no services will be held. A private burial will be held at Highland Memorial Park at a later date.
    The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for the care Elaine received both at Appleton Health Care Center and Carolina Manor.
