    Obituary:
On November 12, 2011 our Lord called Dorothy Caroline Mary (Schroeder) Price to her eternal home. Mother was born May 28, 1922 to Albert F. and Esther J. A. (Scheibe) Schroeder at home in Freedom, WI. She was baptized on June 18, 1922 and married Raymond Alfred Price on July 1, 1950. Mother, a dedicated member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church used her God given talents serving as a Sunday School teacher, Officer in P.T.S., for many years President of Ladies Aid, reporter for Lutheran Women's Mission Society, and served on the Altar Guild. Mother continued in the Lord's service at Colony Oaks for 21 years, Hospice Volunteer for 5 years, and taught English to Hmong. In her early years, Mother worked for Vandenberg's Greenhouse in Appleton, Arthur and Clara Davidson of Harley-Davidson, Milwaukee, Appleton Wire Works, and Appleton Juvenile Furniture. As a teenager, Mother was a maid for Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Davidson and fondly shared many memories from that time in Milwaukee. She recalled seeing Mr. Davidson and Mr. Harley working on the motorcycle in Mr. Davidson's garage. Mother's life was a life of respect, respect for her parents, respect for her work, respect for her husband Raymond, respect for her children, but her greatest respect was for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in whose arms she is now at peace.
Mother is survived by her children: Raymond L. (Betty) Price and their children: Aaron (Rachelle) Price and Amber Price; Roger (Denise) Price and their children: Russell (Dawn) Price and their children: Fiona, Xavier, and Dorothea, Zachary (Renee) Price, Dr. Gina (Dan) Mullooly and their daughter, Aela; Sally (Larry) Sherwood and their children: Laura (John) Hudock, Louise (Pastor Steve) Ambramowski and their daughters: Rebecca and Nora, Ruth (Nick) Beyer; Arthur Price and his son Nathan; Penny Price; James (Karen) Price; Charles Price; Sarah (Mike) De Valk and their children: Olivia, Claudia, and David; Timothy (Kris) Price and their sons: Scott and Paul. She is further survived by sisters-in-law: June Schroeder, Lorraine Price, Ruth (Norbert) Pomerenke, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Mother was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond A., a daughter Jane A. Price, a grandson, John M. De Valk, a brother, George Schroeder, a nephew, Gary Schroeder, a niece, Sandra Price, and an infant sister. She is further preceded by two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law: Le Roy Price and Phillip (Loretta) Price.
Funeral services for Mother will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at ST. LUKE EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 705 East Greenfield Dr., Little Chute with Rev. Jesse Johnston officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. Friends will be received at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna, (766-2099) on Tuesday (TODAY) from 4:00-7:00 PM and at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorial funds have been established for the Central African Medical Mission and the Wisconsin Lutheran Child and Family Services.
We would like to thank Vi and the staff of Heartland Hospice. We would especially like to thank Millie for the compassion and respect she showed to Mother. We thank Pastor Szep and Pastor Johnston for the spiritual care and comfort they gave our Mother.
    Mother
We remember it all Mother. The good and the funny. We don't really remember the bad, you took care of most of that. You gave us everything we needed and then you offered us more. We wish we could give you half of it back so you would know how good it feels.
    We love you,
    Your chicklets
    Toot a loo
