    Obituary:
    Carolyn Krueger Mangold, passed away on June 30, 2011 at her home. She was born March 19, 1930, in Forest Junction, to Leonard and Eleanor Krueger. She was a graduate of Ripon College. In college she was involved in many activities. She was a Delta Phi Epsilon, was on the court of the Military Ball and served as a soloist with the college choir.
    After graduating from Ripon College, she continued her education at San Francisco State University where she acquired her general classroom and special music credentials. While at the University, she was again involved in music activities, taking a lead role in one of the operas.
    Carolyn then took a teaching position in Livermore Calif., retiring after 20 years. She then returned to Green Bay, Wis., and married Don Mangold.
    She will be sadly missed by her sister, Virginia Krueger, Green Bay; a stepdaughter and son-in-law, Patti (Glenn) McNamara; a stepson, Mark; three step-grandchildren, Keegan, Luke and Hunter; as well as many other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Don.
    There will be a graveside service on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Highland Memorial Park, 3131 N. Richmond Street, Appleton Wis. Proko-Wall Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
    In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established.
