    Family History Researcher:
    From Kathy Fuhrmann
With help of a lady on facebook we think we found my Frank Louis Burton but not sure since death cert says unable to obtain parents names. He was divorced from a Jessie E.
OK MY Francis Louis Bertrand/Burton AKA: Frank Louis Burton was b. Aug 10, 1879 in North Port, Wi to Louis & Marceline St Antoine/Anthony Bertrand/ Burton. Family stories go he supposedly change his name with Gordon popping up frequently. He married a local gal with surname of Mayo. I had discounted story since 1 of his nephews or great nephews changed his name to Gordon.
Anyways This lady found a Frank L Burton who also used Gordon as surname worked for the Market Street, Railway Co. in SF, Cal. many years & in 1929 despondent over losing his position committed suicide by gas.
Margaret Quivey DeMarco Did you notice among the witnesses to the Coroner's Report that I posted, above, were his sister-in-law Dora LEE and her son, Earl GORDON, as well as the deceased's ex-wife, Mrs. HARRIS? I did come across a divorce notice in the newspaper for Frank L. and Jessie GORDON in 1927. Let me see if I can find it again.
She is reading cert wrong Sister in law is Dora Lee then it says Earl Gordon-son & Mrs. " " Meaning Mrs Gordon-ex wife
    Here is death cert:

San Francisco Chronicle Newspaper, Wed., November 6, 1929.
What I am wondering is 3 things--- Would you call the Market street railway Company for me & see what if anything you can get out of them as far as identifying Who Frank is. Can you se if can find n obit of sorts instead of this short article & maybe contact undertaker or funeral home to see if they know who his parents are & if had any kids? I tried looking for him in 1920 census but cannot find him. 3rd want to know when, where married & see if cert lists his parents names & see what Jesse surname was. If family stories are correct then it could be Mayo.
I called them in 2004 & they told me they had changed ownership & had no records & could not help me - BUT I figure if YOU call & ask questions you may get someplace. I want to confirm if this IS my Frank or not.
