    See Image MRS. LAURA WACHLIN Mrs. Laura "Wachlin, 69, died Friday morning at the- home of her daughter, Mrs. B. B. Mayerhoff, 1108 W. Prospect-ave, after an Illness of six months. In July Mrs. "Wachlin underwent an operation from which she never recovered. Mrs. Wachlin came to the United States with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Neumann, from Marienherg, West Preusen, Germany, at the age of 12, and settled In Chicago. She married Henry Wachlin, and in 1877 they moved to Appleton. Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Henry Harp, Milwaukee; Mrs. B. E. Mayerhoff, Mrs. Benjamin J. Pekarske, and Mrs. Andrew Smith, all of Appleton; two sons, Emil Wachlin, Appleton, and Arthur Wachlin of Black Creek; fourteen, grandchildren and three great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Carl Schultz,, Chicago; Mrs. George Wolff and Mrs. Henry Bush, Appleton; three brothers, Fred Neumann, Chicago; August of Appleton, and Emil of Milwaukee. ' Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Monday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Mayerhoff, and at 2 o'clock at St. Paul's Lutheran church with the Rev. F. M. Brandt In charge.

    Obituary:
    Mrs. Ben Mayerhoff (Anna Wachlin) 720 W. Fifth St. Age 94, died Monday morning after a short illness. She was born April 7,1881 in the Town of Grand Chute to Henry and Laura Wachlin. She had been an Appleton resident since 1923. Mrs. Mayerhoff was a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church, a 50 year member of the Ladies Aid, a member of the Valpariso University Guild, and the Appleton Memorial Hospital Auxilary. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Earl (Leona) Rogers of Appleton; 1 grandson, James Rogers of Appleton; 4 great grandchildren, Susan, Michael, Lori, Bruce all of Appleton; a sister, Mrs. Andrew (Rose) Smith of Black Creek; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben in 1966, and a grandson, Wayne Rogers in 1943. Complete funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Mount Olive Lutheran Church with Rev. Richard K. Pankow officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home from 3 until 9 Tuesday and from 8 until 9:30 Wednesday, and after 10 at the church until the time of the service. A memorial fund has been established for Mount Olive Lutheran Church and Appleton Memorial Hospital.

    Mrs. Lintner recently moved to Neenah alter living in Appleton for 20 years. Survivors are four daughters. Mrs. Harvey Baerwald and Mrs. Oliver Krull both of Appleton, Mrs. Merlyn Ruchdashel, Claremont, Cal. and Mrs. Earl Erb, Neenah: two sisters, Mrs. August Asman and Mrs. E. Rachow. Appleton.     Nona L. Van Straten, age 97, Shiocton, finished her journey on Saturday, May 14, 2016. She was born on April 16, 1919, in Appleton daughter of the late Arthur and Marie (Randerson) Wachlin. On February 19, 1936, she was united in marriage to Clark Van Straten at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Black Creek. Together they raised 8 children. He preceded her in death on July 8, 1950. Nona was a life long member of St. Denis Catholic Church, Shiocton; where she participated in St. Ann Christian Mother's Society. She traveled extensively with her children throughout the years.
    Nona is survived by her children: Jacqulyne (Gary) Waterstradt, Suamico; Tom (Janice) Van Straten, Shiocton; Richard (Kathy) Van Straten, Neenah; Gary Van Straten, Shiocton; John (Lucy) Van Straten, Appleton; Joe (special friend, Barbara) Van Straten, Shiocton; and Jane (David) Reinke, Appleton; 33 grand-children, many great grandchildren and many great, great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Marie (Randerson) Wachlin, husband Clark, infant daughter Janice and daughter, Jeanne Vanderzanden, granddaughter, Connie Van Straten, brother, Delbert Wachlin and sister Rosemary VanKleeck.
    The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Brewster Village for their tender, loving and compassionate care during the last nine years.
    Funeral services for Nona will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Denis Catholic Church, Shiocton with Bishop Robert Morneau and Deacon Ken Bilgrien officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

    Myrtle Lillian Gertrude Lintner was born in New London, WI, to William and Amelia Lintner. On June 20, 1934, she wed Marlin Ruckdashel of Sugar Bush, WI, and they had three children: Kay, Sue and Bill. In 1952, they move to California where they raised their family. In 1993, Marlin went to be with the Lord. Two years later Myrtle moved to Atlanta, TX, where she resided near her daughter, Sue, and her family. She entered the presence of her Lord on March 6, after a short illness at the age of 95.
    Funeral services were held on March 9, at the First Baptist Church in Atlanta with the service being conducted by her family.
    Mrs. Ruckdashel was a member of the First Baptist Church where she had been active since her move from California. She was a woman of generosity and was known for her hospitality and genuine interest in others.
    Survivors include one son, Bill and Jayne Ruckdashel of Calgary, Canada; two daughters: Kay and Gary Thompson of Appleton, WI, and Sue and Jim Price of Atlanta, TX; and one sister, Geraldine Erb of Neenah, WI. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Sherri and Ed Shirley of Atlanta; Sandy and Gary Price of Atlanta; Timothy and Tiffany Thompson of Appleton, WI; Tami and Daryl Breuninger of Watsonville, CA; Emily and Mike Penner, Annie and Dallas Davidson, and Chelsey Ruckdashel, all of Canada; and also by 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

    Age, 87 died unexpectedly on June 29, 2003 at his home. He was born October 8, 1915 in Appleton, son of the late August and Gertrude (Wolf) Asman. He was a 1934 graduate of Appleton Senior High School. Earl married Margaret Deno on April 29, 1937 and was employed as a machinist by Valmet (formerly Appleton Machine Company) for forty-three years. He was an Army Air Corp Veteran of World War II with the 3702nd Army Air Forces Base Unit at Buckley Field, Colorado. Earl was a resident of Kaukauna since 1947. He was a God-fearing, loving and faithful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Earl loved people, and always had a warm smile for family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and especially children whenever he met them. He was a very talented and patient man and was always ready with a joke or story of the "old days". He was always willing to help fix anything. He was so proud and happy to be able to attend his last grandchild's graduation ceremony on June 5, 2003 at Appleton West High School. Earl was a wonderful example for all of us and he will be missed by the countless people that he touched.

Earl is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers Roy Asman and David Asman, a sister Verlee Porter, a nephew, Joe Porter, his wife's sisters Alfa (Nick) Esler and Edna (Gust) Fosberg, and Margaret's brother-in-law Lawrence Belongia.
    Funeral services for Earl will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, July 3, 2003 at CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH, W1250 Highway 96 in Kaukauna with Rev. James Grosse officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 - 7 PM and again at the church on Thursday from 10 AM until the hour of the services. A memorial fund is being established for the Calvary Baptist Church.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to Earl's neighbors, former neighbors, and Pastor James Grosse for the special attention they gave to Earl since Margaret's death.

    William R. VandenBloomer, age 61 of Mountain, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 after a lengthy illness. He was born July 10, 1956 to the late Elmer and Donna (Smith) VandenBloomer and was raised in Oneida. Bill married Brenda Neshek on March 31, 1978 in Black Creek. For many years, Bill was self-employed. Bill greatly enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.
    William is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughters, Billie Jo, Lisa (Clyde), and Laura; 8 grandchildren, Kristia, Elijah, Logan, Lance, Nolan, Breanna, Bella, and Delilah; 1 great-grandchild, Kaden; 3 brothers, Butch, Jeff (Tina), and Mike; 7 sisters, Bonnie, Colleen, Tina (Jim), Vickie, Lynn, LuAnn, and Becky (Bill); 2 brothers-in-law, Steve Neshek and Bruce (Bonnie) Neshek. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Viola and Harold; a sister, Kim; a brother-in-law, Duane Krueger.
    Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 12 pm with Pastor Bill Krauss officiating.
