Am Letzten Montag Morgen, etwa 5 Uhr, starb in Dale die Ehefrau des Herrn Ferd. Drews in Folge eines Krebes=Leidens. Sie erreichte ein Alter von 38 Jahren und 6 Monaten, und stand bei ihren zahlreichen Freunden und Vefannten in großer Achtung. Ihre sterblichen Ueberreste wurden Mittwoch, Radmittag um 1 Uhr durch herrn Pastor T. Bretscher von Caledonia aus zur letzten Ruche gebette. Sie hinterlaßt nebst ihrem trauernden Gatten noch 6 Kinder, wovon das älterste etwa 14 Jahre zählt, die wehklagend den Tod der treuen Mutter beweinen.

On last Monday morning, about 5 o'clock, died in Dale the wife of the Mr. Ferd. Drews in consequence of a cancer. She reached an age of 38 years and 6 months, and had numerous friends and a large family. Her mortal remains were laid to rest on Wednesday, at 1 o'clock by Mr. Pastor T. Bretscher from Caledonia. Together with her mourning husband, she leaves 6 children, all under age 14 years, and a faithful mother.

Obituary:
Former Dale Woman Found Dead on Floor - Mrs. Mata Grosnick, 72, of 514 N. Durkee street, a former Dale resident, was found dead on the floor of her bedrom at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday. She had been dead about an hour.
Mrs. Grosnick's son, Erwin Grosnick, route 2, Hortonville, notified police at 12:34 p.m. Wednesday, he could not get into his mother's home and suspected somethng was wrong. A policeman gained entrance through an upstairs window and found Mrs. Grosnick dead.
Deputy Corner Dr. Joseph L. Benton ruled death was due to a heart attack. She died between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., he said.
Lifelong Dale Resident
Mrs. Grosnsick moved to Appleton about three weeks ago. She was born Sept. 25, 1887, in the town of Dale, Outagamie county, and lived there until she moved.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.[m]. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran church, Dale, with burial in the Dale Union cemetery. Friends may call at the Borchardt and Moder Funeral home, Hortonville, after 2 p.m. Thursday until 10:30 a.m. Friday, then at the church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Alfred Luedke, Medina; three sons, Reuben Spiegelberg, Oshkosh, Walter Grosnick, Dale, and Erwin Grosnick; two brothers, Herbert Drews, Dale, and Arthur Drews, Appleton; one sister, Mrs. Alma Krenke, Fremont; 14 grandchidren and one great-grandchild
