    Obituary:
    Carol Jean Post, age 77, of Appleton, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 3, 2014, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Carol was born in Sheboygan on January 28, 1937, to the late Clair and Marie (Taylor) Stoffel. She attended school in Red Wood Falls, MN, until moving to Appleton where she graduated from Appleton High School. On April 28, 1956, she was united in marriage to Franklin A. Post at St. Therese Catholic Church. Carol worked at Appleton Medical Center on Four South for 17 years, retiring in 1991. She enjoyed her time at the family cottage on White Lake and their condominium in Florida spending nights playing cards and board games. She loved camping and traveling with family and friends. Throughout life, she was devoted to her family, and a faithful member of the Roman Catholic Church.
    She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 58 years, Franklin A. Post, Appleton; 7 children: Jeff Post, Jon (Julie) Post, Sharon (Fiance Jeremy McNew) Hein, Ann Hetherington, James (Susan) Post, Laurie Bender, and Eric (Chary) Post, in addition, Allen's significant other Jean Grapengieser; 17 grandchildren: Samuel Post, Peter (Colleen) Post, Calvin Post, Amy (Scott) Missall, Nicole (Jason) Kappell, Stacey (Aaron) Hetherington, Ashley (Mike) Hetherington, Ryan (Angel) Hetherington, Tyler Hetherington, Megan Post, Katie Post, Kristen Post, Allen Post, Lindsey Bender, Jack Post, and Trai and Britiny Tank; 14 great grandchildren: Ashton, Gavin, Audra, Caleb, Jeremy, Alisha, Lucas, Logan, Jacob, Austin, Bentley, Dominic, Ellie,and Rene; sister, Mary (Dave) Brooks, 4 sisters-in-law: Marilyn Stoffel, Rosie Stoffel, Sandy Stoffel, and Mary Beth (Al Riojas) Laux; 2 aunts: Delores Vander Heiden and Therese Schroeder. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, mother and father in law: Franklin B. and Altha Post, son Allen, and three brothers: John, Denis, and Clair "Fritz" Stoffel, sister-in-law Nancy Van Grinsven, brother and sister-in-law Jim and Delores Post, and brother-in-law Mark Laux.
    A Funeral Mass will take place at 11 am on Thursday, August 7, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 213 E. Wisconsin Ave, Appleton, with Father Bill Hoffman officiating. Friends may visit from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday, August 6 at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel, and directly at the church on Thursday from 9 am until the time of service. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has been established.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Emily Winslow, Judy Thomsen-Lopez, RN, and staff from UW Madison Hospital, Dr. Avi Bar-Lev and staff at the Martha Siekman Cancer Center, Suzi Perlewitz and hospice staff for their care and compassion.

    Jeffrey John Post, age 59, of Appleton, was called home to Christ on Tuesday, March 8, 2016. Jeffrey was born in Appleton on January 22, 1957 to Franklin and the late Carol (Stoffel) Post. He graduated at Appleton West High School with the class of 1975. He played the saxophone through high school and also enjoyed being a member of the Americanos, traveling with them as far as California. Like his mother, Jeff took great pride in cleaning, he worked for several cleaning companies through the years, and he enjoyed using his talents helping family and friends.
    Jeff was a very caring person, always putting others and their happiness first before himself. He loved the outdoors, especially camping and spending time at the family cottage at White Lake. He was an excellent cook and loved to cook for others, even going as far as delivering his meals to friends and family. He enjoyed staying busy working, and had a great love for music. When his family went away from home, they could always depend on Jeff to take care of their pets, he had a great love for animals. Jeff adored all of his nieces and nephews who brought great joy to his life. If you did a favor or something nice for Jeff, he would always smile and tell you that "you were his favorite." Jeff had many favorites in the family! Jeff was very grateful to his grandmother Altha Acord who was his angel on earth and always looked out for him.
    He will be deeply missed by his father, Franklin Post, Appleton; three sisters: Sharon (Jeremy) McNew, Ann Hetherington, and Laurie Bender, all of Appleton; three brothers: Jon (Julie) Post, Sherwood, Jim (Susan) Post, Appleton, and Eric (Chary) Post, Appleton, in addition, Allen's significant other Jean Grapengieser; his beloved nieces and nephews: Samuel, Peter, Calvin, Amy, Nicole, Stacey, Ashley, Ryan, Tyler, Megan, Katie, Kristen, Allen, Lindsey, Jack, Trai, and Britiny. He was further survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
    He was preceded in death by his mother, and a brother Allen.
    The Post family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the many people who enriched Jeff's life over the years.
    A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 am on Wednesday, March 16, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 213 E. Wisconsin Ave., Appleton, with Father Bill Hoffman officiating. Friends and relatives may visit at the church on Wednesday from 9 am until the time of service. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Appleton.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
