Obituary:
Raymond M. Heindel, age 72, d ied unexpectedly Thursday, September 15th, 1988, while fishing. He was bo rn September 2nd, 1916, in Kaukauna, the son of the late Martin and Hel en (Onkels) Heindel. Ray was a Kaukauna resident all of his life, and ser ved with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was employed by the Thilma ny Pulp and paper Co. for 42 years, retiring in 1979. He was a memb er of the Holy Cross Catholic Church, and the Quarter Century Club of t he Thilmany. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Martha (Vandenheuve l) Heindel; two sons and two daughters in law: Greg and Kay Heindel, Waupa ca; Jeff and Diane Heindel, Kaukauna; a grandson, Sam; and two brothers a nd sisters in law: Eugene and Lorraine Heindel, Kaukauna; James and Mary H eindel, Beaver Dam. He was preceded in death by a brother. The funeral s ervice will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17th, 1988, at Holy Cro ss Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with Father Jack Mullarkey officiating. Bur ial will be in the parish cemetery.
