    Obituary:
    Lillian M. Hoffman of Appleton, age 92, died on Sunday, January 16, 2005 at Franciscan Care Center. She was born in Tisch Mills, Wisconsin on November 8, 1912 to the late Edward and Francis (Konop) Schleis. On January 11, 1941 she married Eugene Hoffman in Tisch Mills.
    Lillian was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. She was a member and past president of the VFW Auxiliary, as well as a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Lillian was a wonderful person who enjoyed helping people.
    She will be sadly missed by her husband, Eugene; daughter, Kathleen Blums, Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren: Brian Halverson and Natalie Halverson both of West Allis, Wisconsin; great granddaughter, Brianna Halverson; sister: Viola Stodola, Denmark, Wisconsin; other relatives and friends.
    In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant brother, a sister, Della (Paul) Jaklin and brother-in-law, George Stodola.
    The Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at 11 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 213 E. Wisconsin Ave, with Father Bill Hoffman officiating. The visitation will be on Wednesday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.
