    Clarence Romanesko 45, DePer e, native of Freedom, collapsed and died at work late Tuesday afterno on at the Reiss Coal Co. docks at Green Bay. He had suffered from a hea rt condition for several years and doctors said that was the cause of h is death. Born in Freedom March 12th, 1919, Romanesko lived in the to wn of Allouez before making his home in DePere four years ago. He was a r etail foreman for the Reiss firm and had worked 25 years for its predecess or, the Cleveland Cliff Coal company. Funeral services will be at 9:00 Fr iday morning at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, DePere, with burial in S t. Nicholas cemetery, Freedom. The rosary will be recited at 8:00 tonig ht and Thursday night at the Ryan funeral home, DePere, where friends m ay call after 7:00 tonight. Survivors include his wife, Marie, his parent s, Mr. and Mrs. William Romanesko, Freedom; four children, Betty, Judy, Wi lliam and Jerry, all at home; three brothers, Walter, of Kimberly, Josep h, of Stevensville, and Elmer, of Freedom; and four sisters, Mrs. Verona P eters, Little Chute, Mrs. Al Sonnleitner, the state of Oregon, Mrs. Ray Ke mpen, and Mrs. John Gonnering, Kaukauna.

    Romenesko, Gerald W. "Romy"
    Gerald W. "Romy" Romenesko, 66, Village of Howard, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at his home.
    He was born June 19, 1941, in Green Bay to the late Clarence "Curly" and Marie Romenesko. He had been employed by the Brown County Highway Department for 37 years. Jerry volunteered for the Howard Fire Department for eight years.
    On May 30, 1998, he married Mary Jo Smits in Green Bay. Jerry enjoyed driving the children to school for Lamers for four years. He enjoyed fishing for perch and absolutely loved yard work and took great pride in his yard. Most of all Jerry loved the time he spent with his children and grandchildren.
    He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo; four children and their spouses, Kathy and Paul Youngworth, Scott and Dawn Romenesko, Shelly Romenesko, all of Green Bay; Clint and Melissa Peloquin, Hillsborough, N.C.; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Devin, Katerina Rose, Matt and Mike Youngworth, Madysen and Maxwell Romenesko; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Bill Christopherson, Green Bay; his twin sister, Judy Buss, Green Bay; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Jan Romenesko, Longview, Texas; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Allyea "Ally" Romenesko.
    Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Friends may also call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave., Howard, from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with Rev. John Bergstadt officiating. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Howard.
