    Ervin E. Sachs Jr., Little Chute, age 71, died Sunday July 22, 2007, at Appleton Medical Center. He was born November 4, 1935, in Seymour to the late Ervin and Bernice (Lemke) Sachs Sr. Ervin loved to play games, especially bingo, checkers, dominoes and Sheephead.
    Ervin is survived by his sisters, Linda Tocarchick and Jeanne (Stanley) Welhouse. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
    In addition to his parents, Ervin was preceded in death by an infant sister, Beatrice Ann; and brother-in-law, Blackie Tocarchick.
    Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until the time of funeral at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2007, at Highland Memorial Park Chapel (3131 N. Richmond Ave.). The Rev. James Hablewitz will officiate.

    Jeanne Mae Welhouse, Little Chute, passed away at home with her family by her side after a 7 year struggle with multiple illnesses. She was born on January 17, 1939 to the late Ervin, Sr. and Bernice (Lemke) Sachs. On March 2, 1957, she married Stanley Welhouse at St. John Church, Little Chute.As a young woman she worked at Campbell's and Swickers. Jeanne helped out in the cafeteria and monitored the playground at the Little Chute Middle School. She worked at Warehouse Specialists during the Christmas holiday rush. She enjoyed travelling on many bus trips with her husband. Jeanne was a faithful Packer fan and enjoyed watching the Food Channel and trying out new recipes for her family. For the last 43 years, she looked forward to her monthly outing to play cards with her lady friends. She found pleasure in attending school programs and games in which her children and grandchildren participated. She was a member of St. John parish where she served as a greeter with her husband. Jeanne was a kind, generous and loving woman and loved by all who knew her.
    She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Stanley Welhouse; sons: Terry (Susan) Welhouse, Greenville; Tom Welhouse, Little Chute; Todd (Janice) Welhouse, Kaukauna; and daughter, Tina (Charles) Bartelt, Kaukauna; eight grandchildren: Michael, Tamara and Alexis Welhouse, Adam and Andy Lenth, Caitlyn (Mike) Jenkins, Autumn and Kyle Bartelt; and one great grandson Braydon Jenkins. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Tocarchick, Princeton, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her special friends Peggy Evers, Irene VanAsten, Irene VanDeraa, Kathleen (Toots) VanDeraa and Jener Wydeven.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Ervin Sachs Jr.; an infant sister Beatrice; Stan's parents, Levi and Ruby Welhouse; and a brother-in-law, Blackie Tocarchick.
    Visitation will be at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St. Little Chute) from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. on Friday November 26, 2010. The Rev. Msgr.     The family would like to thank Jeanne's caregivers from Affinity Hospice, especially Tammy, Lori and Diane. Special thanks to daughter, Tina, for accompanying Jeanne on her many appointments and attending to her needs over the past months.

    Gladys Ione Remter, 74, of Little Chute, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born June 12, 1940, to the late Harvey and Mary Sachs. She was united in marriage to Donald Remter on September 20, 1957.
    Gladys loved spending time with her family, crocheting, doing puzzles and spending time with her friends at her home in Arizona. She was a devoted Christian. Gladys enjoyed life to the fullest even through her three year battle with ovarian cancer.
    Gladys is survived by her husband, Donald Remter; her four children Doreen (Jeff) Westrick of Waterford, Mary (Roudy) Malliet of Little Chute, Brenda (Scott) Kuba of Englewood, Florida, and Robert Remter of Kaukauna; her six grandchildren, Lindsey Woenshofter, Cali Westrick, Taylor Westrick, Connor Westrick, James Kuba abd Sara Kuba; two great grand children Caitlyn and Jacob Woerishofer; she is also survived by two brothers, Jim Sachs and Everett Sachs.
    Service to celebrate Gladys' life will be held at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 705 E .Greenfield Drive, Little Chute, on Saturday, August 9, 2014. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m.
    The family would like to extend a big thank you to Theda Care at Home Hospice Service for all their help and support. They would also like to extend their support and prayers to anyone who is going through or survived ovarian cancer, you are not alone.
