Behnke, Robert F.Robert F. Behnke, age 86, of N6595 Long Lake Rd., Brillion, died on Saturd ay, January 28, 2006 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was bo rn on September 19, 1919 in the Town of Brillion, son of the late Fred a nd Louisa (Raddatz) Behnke. He married Beatrice Enneper Popp on April 27, 1963 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. Robert served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He also farmed and did masonry work in the area for many years.He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion and the Becker Bloe dorn Jensen American Legion Post #126 in Brillion.Survivors include his wife Beatrice; children: Gerald (Dianna) Popp of Bri llion, Audrey Gruett of Potter; nine grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildre n, a great-great-granddaughter; a brother, Milton (Ruth) Behnke of Brillio n; four sisters-in-law: Edna Behnke of Wayside, Leona Popp of Neenah, Leo na Popp of Brillion, Margaret Martens of New Holstein; and a brother-in-la w, August Enneper of Indiana.Robert was preceded in death by a son-in-law Harlan Gruett, a granddaught er Becky Popp, a great-grandson Matthew Popp, and many brothers and sister s.Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 2nd at 1 p.m. at Trini ty Lutheran Church, 601 E. Obituary:
Milton H. Behnke, age 92 of Brillion, died on Monday February 13, 2017 at Brillion West Haven. He was born on March 30, 1924 in the Town of Brillion, son of the late Fredrick and Louise (Raddatz) Behnke. On May 6, 1944 he married Ruth Pingel at Emmanuel Evangelical Church in the Town of Rantoul. Milton and Ruth farmed northwest of Brillion for 21 years. They moved to the City of Brillion and Milton became a custodian at Brillion Public Schools for 21 years until retiring in 1986. He and Ruth also served as custodians for Faith United Methodist Church in Brillion for 38 years. He was a faithful member of Faith United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife Ruth, 5 sons and 4 daughters-in-law, Roger (Cynthia) Behnke and Howard (Sharon) Behnke all of Brillion, Clifford Behnke of Manitowoc, Russell (Janica) Behnke of Appleton, Darrell (Michelle) Behnke of Madison, a daughter and son-in-law Patsy (Jeffery) Manion of Madison, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Milton was preceded in death by a grandson, and many brothers and sisters and their spouses. A memorial service will be held on Thursday February 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church in Brillion. The Rev. Dale Eggert will officiate. Abiding by Milton's wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will be in the Brillion Community Cemetery at a later date. Obituary:
Rosie (Rosaline) Stecker, age 83, of Chilton Care Center, formerly of Rantoul, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2008. She was born January 5, 1925, in the town of Rockland, daughter of the late Adolph and Ida Behnke. She married Orville Stecker on October 28, 1948, at St. John St. James Lutheran Church in Reedsville. She farmed with her husband Orville for 50 years on the Stecker family farm until they retired. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul, a former member of the Ladies Aid, the LWML and the Calumet Homemakers. Rosie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, baking and enjoyed pets, especially cats and dogs.
She is survived by her husband Orville of 59 years, her children: Mike Stecker, Appleton; Don Stecker, Stockbridge; Connie (Bernie) Simon, Hilbert; two grandchildren: Eric and Curt Simon; a sister, Sophie Jandrey, Manitowoc; a brother and sister-in-law: Martin (Julia) Behnke, Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law: Loretta Behnke and Verona (Edgar) Klessig, all of Brillion, and a brother-in-law, Wallace Zahn, Hilbert. She is further survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Jim Stecker, two sisters: Josephine Kraus and Helen Zahn; two brothers: Roland Behnke and Aaron Behnke; five brothers-in-law: Charles Jandrey, Harold Zahn, Raymond Kraus, Louis Klessig and Vernon (Arlene) Stecker, as well as a sister-in-law Cordia Zahn.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul. The Rev. Timothy Benninghoff will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and again at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Chilton Care Center for all their love and compassion given to mom while she stayed there.

Brillion - Carol Joyce Beyer, age 83, of Brillion, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Theda Care in Neenah surrounded by her family.
Carol was born on December 2, 1934 in Brillion, daughter of the late Herman C. and Esther (Beilke) Behnke. On August 23, 1958, she married Richard Doughty. He preceded her in death on March 9, 1967. She married Lloyd Beyer on July 27, 1968. He preceded her in death on January 31, 1995. Carol was employed at Doughty's Grocery Store in Brillion. She then owned and operated the Wayside Food Market with her husband Lloyd. She went on to work at Seroogy's in Green Bay, and ended her career at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, in the food preparation area at the age of 75. She also volunteered for meals on wheels in Brillion and Bethesda in Green Bay. Carol was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Wayside. She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, and embroidery. Carol loved her family and would do anything for her grandchildren. She always had a smile on her face.
She is survived by her children: Debbie (Greg) Bratz, Richard "Junior" (Debbie) Doughty, Ron Doughty and special friend Cheri Fesling, Sandy (Bob) Schultz, Donna (Steve) Engelland, Sheri (John) Levash, Patsy (Jim) Wendling, and Mark (Lisa) Beyer; grandchildren: Mandy (Derrick) Kane, Angie (Josh) Eickert, Vanessa Reinke, Brandon (Holly) Doughty, Carlye (Dustin) Stever, Jennifer (Jason) Maertz, Missy (Jeremy) Schleis, Abby (Dan) Liebergen, Maxwell Schultz and special friend Jenna Weber, Ben (Beth Ann) Engelland, Sam (Tess) Engelland, Rylee Engelland, Nathan Levash, Chris Levash and special friend Emma Sloma, Shawna Levash and special friend James Kiesow, Jake Wendling and special friend Taylor Falvey, Dylan Wendling, and Hannah, Harley, and Heidi Beyer; 14 great-grandchildren with two more on the way; one brother and sister-in-law: Jim (Florence) Behnke; one sister: Karen Boettcher; other in-laws; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church of Wayside. Officiating will be the Rev. Austin Welter. Burial will be in Brillion Community Cemetery.
