See Image Norbert "Okie" O'Connell, 87, of Washington Island, WI., died Sept 13, 2000, at his home. He was born July 2, 1913, in DePere, WI., to William and R ose O'Connell. He married Pauline Gudmundsen, who preceded him in death De c. 17, 1993. Okie owned and operated O'Connell Plumbing and Heating on Was hington Island for many years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Chur ch and the Washington Island Lions Club. He is survived by a son, Micha el (Barbara) of Washington Island; daughters Patti Cauldwell, of Ashevill e, NC, Kathryn O'Connell and Maureen O'Connell, both of Green Bay; grandch ildren Christine, Ted, Scott and Courtney; and a sister, Agnes, of DePer e. A memorial service was held Sept 15 at Trinity Church on the Island, wi th Pastor David Glesne officiating. Burial was in the Island Cemetery.
