    Obituary:
    James LaBorde, age 60, formerly of Kaukauna, died Sunday morning, December 7, 2008. He was born February 16, 1948, to Jack and Helen (Anderson) LaBorde, in Kaukauna. James served with the U.S. Army and had been employed by Froedert Hospital of Milwaukee. He enjoyed golfing and fishing with his sons and was an avid Brewers, Bucks and Packers fan.
    James is survived by his sons, Bryon (Tammy) LaBorde, Appleton; Sean (Stacy) LaBorde, Mt. Horeb, WI; four grandchildren: Olivia, Nolan, Madelyn and Lindsey LaBorde; his mother, Helen C. LaBorde; three brothers: Robert LaBorde, Jean L. (Nancy) LaBorde, and Jon LaBorde; two sisters: Judy (John) Lambie and Susan LaBorde.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Jack LaBorde.
    A memorial service for James will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2008, at the funeral home, with Reverend Tim Albrecht officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.

    Obituary:
    Kaukauna - Susan A. La Borde, age 68, of Kaukauna, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. She was born on April 10, 1950, daughter of the late John and Helen (Anderson) La Borde.
    Susan spent over 30 years working at Fox Valley Tool and Die as the only woman out in the shop. She enjoyed sitting in her yard, soaking up the sun on her deck. Susan loved nature, fishing and had a special place in her heart for all animals. She was a very positive person, always seeing the good in people and in situations. She loved watching the Packers, but most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren.
    Susan is survived by her son, Dan (Debbie) Van Dinter; grandchildren: Cody, Briar, Ashley and Brooke; siblings: Gene (Nancy) La Borde, Bob (Colleen) La Borde and Judy (John) Lambie; sister-in-law, Karen La Borde; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
    Susan was preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen; a daughter, Nikki Van Dinter; granddaughter, Kalsi; great grandson, Brantley; and brothers: Jon and Jim La Borde.
    Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
    Susan's family would like to extend a special thank you to her many good friends, especially Susie Vande Hey for all the years of friendship and always being by Susan's side. Also thanks to the staff of Brewster Village for the loving care given to Susan.

    Nickole "Nikki" Van Dinter, age 44, of Kingsford, MI, formerly of the Fox Valley, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, March 12, 2017. She was born on December 26, 1972, daughter of Jim Van Dinter and Susan LaBorde.
    Nikki enjoyed Zumba dancing and laughing as often as she could. She loved flowers and being in the outdoors and was a great mother to her sons.
    Nikki is survived by her two sons: Cody Ver Voort and Briar Nichols; her father, Jim (Patti) Van Dinter; her mother, Susan LaBorde; a brother, Dan (Debbie) Van Dinter; nieces: Ashley and Brooke Van Dinter; significant other, Jeff; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
    Nikki was preceded in death by her daughter, Kalsi Schaefer; grandson, Brantley Ver Voort; an aunt, Judy Hall; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
    Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute.
